1Ketoconazole Associated Hepatotoxicity: A Systematic Review and Metaanalysis显示文摘Objective To evaluate the incidence of Ketoconazole associated hepatotoxicity and related factors. Methods Literature retrieval was conducted by using multi-databases for meta-analysis on Ketoconazole associated hepatotoxicity. The data were collected with a standardized form. Overall estimation of incidence of hepatotoxicity for specific study type was calculated by using a DerSimonian-Laird random-effects model owing to the substantial differences among the studies. Results Totally 204 eligible studies were included in the analysis. The incidence of Ketoconazole associated hepatotoxicity was 3.6%-4.2%. The dosage and duration specific subgroup analyses did not show any significant difference among groups, while the age specific subgroup analysis showed the incidence in children and people aged >60 years was 1.4% (95% CI: 0.5%-4.2%) and 3.2% (95% CI: 1.1%-8.7%) respectively. Additionally, the incidence of the hepatotoxicity was higher in people who had oral administration of ketoconazole beyond the provisions of the usage instructions, and the incidence was 5.7% (95% CI: 4.5%-7.2%). Conclusion Ketoconazole associated hepatotoxicity was common. Off-label use might increase the risk of liver damage. 3Enhanced alumina film adhesion of Hf/Y-doped iron-aluminum alloys during high-temperature oxidation:a new observation显示文摘The cyclic oxidation behavior of Hf/Y-doped B2 FeAl intermetallics at 1373 K was investigated.For an undoped FeAl alloy,premature spallation of the alumina film occurs due to the formation of numerous voids at the film/alloy interface and apparent shrinkage in the film.In contrast to this,doping with either Hf or Y significantly improves the interfacial adhesion between the alumina film and the alloy substrate,particularly with Hf-doping.Microstructural observation in combination with Anger electron spectroscopic analysis suggests that in addition to prohibiting interfacial void formation and alleviating film shrinkage,the addition of Hf in the FeAl alloy could consolidate the film/alloy interface by directly participating in chemical bonding across the interface as a Hf ion.This causes the spallation of alumina film from the equiaxed grains/columnar grains interface rather than the bottom of the film.Dong-Qing Li Li-Xian Zhou Jun Zhan Jing-Chao Wang Jian Gu Jia-Jun Si 2019Rare Metals2019,38,9:3

5LMP2-DC Vaccine Elicits Specific EBV-LMP2 Response to Effectively Improve Immunotherapy in Patients with Nasopharyngeal Cancer显示文摘Objective To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a vaccine based on latent membrane protein 2(LMP2)modified dendritic cells(DCs)that boosts specific responses of cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTLs)to LMP2 before and after intradermal injection in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).Methods DCs were derived from peripheral blood monocytes of patients with NPC.We prepared LMP2-DCs infected by recombinant adenovirus vector expressing LMP2(rAd-LMP2).NPC patients were immunized with 2×105 LMP2-DCs by intradermal injection at week 0 and after the second and fourth weeks.Specific responses to LMP2 were detected by enzyme-linked immunospot(ELISPOT)assay at week 0 and at the fifth and eighth weeks.Local clinicians performed the follow-up and tracking of patients.Results We demonstrated that DCs derived from monocytes displayed typical DC morphologies;the expression of LMP2 in the LMP2-DCs vaccine was confirmed by immunocytochemical assay.Twenty-nine patients with NPC were enrolled in this clinical trial.The LMP2-DCs vaccine was well tolerated in all of the patients.Boosted responses to LMP2 peptide sub-pools were observed in 18 of the 29 patients with NPC.The follow-up data of 29 immunized patients from April,2010 to April 2015 indicated a five-year survival rate of 94.4%in responders and 45.5%in non-responders.Conclusion In this pilot study,we demonstrated that the LMP2-DCs vaccine is safe and effective in patients with NPC.Specific CTLs responses to LMP2 play a certain role in controlling and preventing the recurrence and metastasis of NPC,which warrants further clinical testing.ZENG Yi SI Yong Feng LAN Gui Ping WANG Zhan ZHOU Ling TANG Min Zhong SJ O`Brien LAN Jiao ZHOU Xiang Yang WANG Yong Li TANG Juan ZHOU Zhi Xiang DU Hai Jun LIN Hui 2020Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2020,33,11:2
6Flood variability in the upper Yangtze River over the last millennium——Insights from a comparison of climate-hydrological model simulated and reconstruction显示文摘Understanding hydrological responses to rising levels of greenhouse gases are essential for climate and impact research.It is,however,often limited by a lack of long record of observational data to provide a basis for understanding the longterm behavior of the climate system.Integrating reconstructed data and(global climate and hydrological)model simulations will help us to better understand the variability of climate and hydrology over timescales ranging from decades to centuries.In this study,we proposed an integrated approach to study flood variability in the upper reach of the Yangtze River over the last millennium to the end of the 21st century.To accomplish this,we first drove hydrological models using the precipitation and temperature from four Global Climate Models(GCM),BCC-CSM1.1,MIROC,MRI-CGCM3,and CCSM4,to simulate daily discharge for the upper reach of the Yangtze River during the period of the last millennium(850–1849),historical period(1850–2005),and a future period(2006–2099).Then,we evaluated whether the modeled precipitation,temperature,and extreme discharge had statistical properties similar to those shown in the documented dry-wet periods,temperature anomalies,and paleoflood records.Finally,we explored the extreme discharge variability using model simulations.The results indicate that:(1)The MIROC-ESM model,differing from the other three GCM models,revealed positive temperature changes from the warm period(Medieval Climate Anomaly;MCA)to the cold period(Little Ice Age;LIA),while the temperature variability of the other models was similar to the records.(2)The BCC-CSM1.1 model performed better than the others regarding correlations between modeled precipitation and documented dry-wet periods.(3)Over most of the subbasins in the upper Yangtze River,the magnitude of extreme discharge in the BCC-CSM1.1 model results showed that there was a decrease from the MCA to the LIA period and an increase in the historical period relative to the cold period,while a future increase was projected by the four GCMs under the influence of climate change.Ran HUO Hua CHEN Lu LI Chong-Yu XU Jingjing LI Si HONG Chesheng ZHAN Jun XIA 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,3:1

9Bias in multiple-treatments meta-analysis: a case on comparative efficacy and tolerability of 15 antipsychotic drugs for schizophrenia显示文摘Multiple-treatments meta-analysis is thought to be a feasible method to compare the efficacy and safety among different treatments,especially when there was no head-to-head research among some treatments.But sometimes some conclusions are inconsistent with the clinical experience.Recently,we read a multiple-treatment meta-analysis finished by Stefen Leucht et al,which was published in Lancet.1 The authors summarized the results of the RCT studies on 15 antipsychotics commonly used in practice;they also horizontally compared the efficacy and safety profile by the meta-analysis.We believe that the results provide more solid evidence for the rational usage of antipsychotics to the psychiatrists,also for the government to distribute health resources in a more reasonable way.Li Nan Zhan Siyan Si Tianmei 2014Chinese Medical Journal2014,,21:1

12A creatinine-based model for predicting recurrent bleeding after modified percutaneous transhepatic variceal embolization in patients with cirrhosis显示文摘Background:Patients who survive initial esophagogastric variceal bleeding(EVB)are at an increased risk of recurrent bleeding and death;however,a reliable predictive model is lacking.We aimed to develop a model for rebleeding prediction in patients with EVB after modified percutaneous transhepatic variceal embolization(PTVE)with cyanoacrylate.Methods:A total of 122 patients with EVB who underwent PTVE from January 2015 to November 2020 were enrolled.Multivariate logistic analyses were conducted to determine independent risk factors for nomogram construction.The discrimination,calibration,and clinical utility of the nomogram were compared with the Model for End-stage Liver Disease score(MELD)and the Child–Pugh model.Risk stratification was performed according to the nomogram.Results:Rebleeding within 3 months of PTVE occurred in 32 patients(26.2%).Independent rebleeding indicators included prior history of endoscopic therapy,Child–Pugh score,partial splenic embolization,and creatinine level.The nomogram incorporating these four predictors achieved excellent calibration and discriminatory abilities,with a concordance index of 0.85,which was confirmed to be 0.83 through bootstrapping validation.The nomogram demonstrated superior discrimination and clinical applicability than the MELD and Child–Pugh models.As shown in the Kaplan–Meier curves,high-risk patients had a high probability of rebleeding(P<0.001).Conclusions:The creatinine-based nomogram had a superior ability to predict rebleeding after PTVE in patients with EVB.Risk stratification may help identify high-risk patients and lead to the earlier implementation of aggressive treatments and formulation of intensive follow-up plans.Kun Ji Xin Li Hanlong Zhu Si Zhao Pengchao Zhan Yang Shi Shuwen Ye Bingcan Xie Yuyuan Zhang Peng Yu Zhigang Ren Juan Ding Xinwei Han Zhen Li 2022Journal of Interventional Medicine2022,5,2:1

17Py-GC/MS study of lignin pyrolysis and effect of catalysts on product distribution显示文摘Fast pyrolysis is one of the most promising methods to convert lignin into fuels and chemicals.In the present study,pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(Py-GC/MS)was used to evaluate vapor phase product distribution of lignin fast pyrolysis.During the non-catalytic pyrolysis process,lignin was pyrolyzed at 400℃,500℃ and 600℃ respectively,finding that the highest yield of aromatic hydrocarbons was obtained at 600℃.Catalytic pyrolysis experiments were also conducted to investigate the effects of catalyst pore structure and acidity on the product distributions.Five different catalysts(HZSM-5,MCM-41,TiO_(2),ZrO_(2) and Mg(Al)O)were applied to lignin catalytic pyrolysis,and the catalytic performance was estimated by analyzing the pyrolytic products.The catalysts were characterized by using X-ray diffraction(XRD),BET,and NH3(CO_(2))temperature programmed desorption.Based on these characterizations,discussion was carried out to explain the formation of the produc distributions.Among the five catalysts,HZSM-5 exhibited the best performance on the formation of aromatic hydrocarbons.Si Zhan Wang Chenguang Bi Kang Zhang Xinghua Yu Chiling Dong Renjie Ma Longlong Pang Changle 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,5:1

20Association between Serum Uric Acid and the Early Marker of Kidney Function Decline among Chinese Middle-Aged and Older Population:Evidence from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study显示文摘Objective To evaluate the association between serum uric acid(SUA)and kidney function decline.Methods Data was obtained from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study on the Chinese middle-aged and older population for analysis.The kidney function decline was defined as an annual estimated glomerular filtration rate(e GFR)decrease by>3 mL/min per 1.73 m^(2).Multivariable logistic regression was applied to determine the association between SUA and kidney function decline.The shape of the association was investigated by restricted cubic splines.Results A total of 7,346 participants were included,of which 1,004 individuals(13.67%)developed kidney function decline during the follow-up of 4 years.A significant dose-response relation was recorded between SUA and the kidney function decline(OR 1.14,95%CI 1.03-1.27),as the risk of kidney function decline increased by 14%per 1 mg/d L increase in SUA.In the subgroup analyses,such a relation was only recorded among women(OR 1.22,95%CI 1.03-1.45),those aged<60 years(OR 1.22,95%CI 1.05-1.42),and those without hypertension and without diabetes(OR 1.22,95%CI 1.06-1.41).Although the dose-response relation was not observed in men,the high level of SUA was related to kidney function decline(OR 1.83,95%CI 1.05-3.17).The restricted cubic spline analysis indicated that SUA>5 mg/dL was associated with a significantly higher risk of kidney function decline.Conclusion The SUA level was associated with kidney function decline.An elevation of SUA should therefore be addressed to prevent possible kidney impairment and dysfunction.TANG Xu XU Lu MENG Ruo Gu DU Yi Qing LIU Shi Jun ZHAN Si Yan XU Tao 2023Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2023,36,3:0
