| 1 | An Investigation of Crocidolite Contamination and Mesothelioma in a Rural Area of China^1显示文摘Crocidolite was found to be ubiquitous in a county in southwestern China. It had been widely used in the making of road pavement, stoves, wall paint, etc. The environmental levels of the asbestos fibers were determined. Of the 2175 local residents examined. 16 had asbestosis and 232 had pleural plaques. These clinical manifestations were noted mainly in patients over 50 years of age. (c)1990 Academic Press. | 3 | Discussion on Landscape Ecosystem Planning of Small Basins in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau——Taking Nieruzangbu Basin as an Example显示文摘In this paper, taking Nieruzangbu as an example, it is discussed that how to plan landscapes of small basin in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. With analyzed the status and character of landscape structure through the use of landscape diversity indexes and landscape dominant indexes, some major problems in the landscape ecosystem are pointed out. On the basis of regional restrictive principle and compliance principle of resources, environment and economy, Nieruzangbu Basin is divided into three landscape function areas. | 4 | Systematic Design and Coordination Acts of Ecological Security in Upper Yangtze River in China显示文摘In this paper, systematic design and act of eco-security is discussed as a focal point of conflict and unrest. The situation of ecosystem, the schematic framework of eco-security design, the main acts of ecosystem improvement, major difficulties and challenges have also been analyzed. The purpose of this study was to formulate the systematic framework of eco-security maintenance, to highlight systematic idea or philosophy of ecological rehabilitation and eco-security. A three-dimensional schematic model is applied to design the security of ecosystem. It was concluded that: 1 ) maintaining ecological security requires far better and sophisticated resource management skill and ecological improvement measures, and is also a continuing and multifaceted task. Situation of income structures and income sources of the farmers in different areas (agricultural, animal husbandry areas and half agricultural and half animal husbandry areas etc. )was approached.
