1Homogeneous PLGA-lipid nanoparticle as a promising oral vaccine delivery system for ovalbumin显示文摘In this study,a polymeric lipid nanoparticle(NP)(simplified as Lipid NP)was reported as a promising oral vaccine delivery system.The Lipid NPs composed of a hydrophobic polymeric poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide)(PLGA)core and a surface coating of lipid monolayer.Membrane emulsification technique was used to obtain uniform-sized Lipid NPs.Ovalbumin(OVA)was used as a model vaccine.Compared with the pure PLGA NPs,the Lipid NPs achieved higher loading capacity(LC)and entrapment efficiency(EE)for the encapsulated OVA.An in vitro oral release profile showed that the OVA-Lipid NPs were with lower initial burst and could protect the loaded OVA from the harsh gastrointestinal(GI)environment for a long time.In addition,a human microfold cell(M-cell)transcytotic assay demonstrated that due to a lipid layer structure on the particle surface,the Lipid NPs showed higher affinity to the M-cells.Since the M-cell in the intestinal epithelium played an important role in particle transportation as well as intimately associated with the underlying immune cells,the OVA-Lipid NPs effectively induced mucosal and humoral immune responses.Tongtong Ma Lianyan Wang Tingyuan Yang Guanghui Ma Siling Wang 2014Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2014,9,3:4
2Steatosis recovery after treatment with a balanced sunflower or olive oil-based diet: Involvement of perisinusoidal stellate cells显示文摘AIM: To analyze the relationship between perisinusoidal stellate cell (PSC) activation and the dietary fat quantity and composition in the treatment of hepatic steatosis.METHODS: Using an experimental rat model of steatosis based on the intake of a hyperlipidic diet (14% fat as olive oil or sunflower oil, HL-O and HL-S, respectively), we analyzed the liver's capability of recovery after the treatment with a normal-lipidic diet (5% fat as olive oil or sunflower oil, NL-O and NL-S, respectively) by immunocytochemical and Western blot analysis of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) expression in PSCs, collagen quantification and serum aminotransferase determination.RESULTS: The fatty infiltration in the steatotic livers decreased after the treatment with both NL diets, indicating liver recovery. This decrease was accompanied with a lower collagen deposition and aminotransferase level as well as changes in the PSC population that increased the GFAP expression. The above-mentioned effects were more pronounced in animals fed on NL-O based diet. CONCLUSION: Treatment with a balanced dietenriched in olive oil contributes to the liver recovery from a stea totic process. 9Autonomous battery-changing system for UAV's lifelong flight显示文摘Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)lifelong flight is essential to accomplish various tasks,e.g.,aerial patrol,aerial rescue,etc.However,traditional UAVs have limited power to sustain their flight and need skilled operators manually control their charging process.Manufacturers and users are eagerly seeking a reliable autonomous battery-changing solution.To address this need,we propose and design an autonomous battery-changing system for UAVs using the theory of inventive problem solving(TRIZ)and user-centered design(UCD)methods.For practical application,we employ UCD to thoroughly analyze user requirements,identify multiple pairs of technical contradictions,and solve these inconsistencies using TRIZ theory.Furthermore,we design an autonomous battery-changing hardware system that meets user requirements and realizes the battery change process after the automatic landing of UAVs.Finally,we conduct experiments to validate our system’s effectiveness.The experimental results show that our battery-changing system can implement the autonomous battery-changing task,and our system has high efficiency and robustness in the real environment.Jiyang Chen Wenxi Li Yingting Sha Yinchuan Wang Zhenqiang Zhang Shikuan Li Chaoqun Wang Sile Ma 2023Biomimetic Intelligence & Robotics2023,3,2:0
10Large transverse thermoelectric figure of merit in a topological Dirac semimetal显示文摘The Seebeck effect encounters a few fundamental constraints hindering its thermoelectric(TE)conversion efficiency.Most notably,there are the charge compensation of electrons and holes that diminishes this effect,and the Wiedemann-Franz(WF)law that makes independent optimization of the corresponding electrical and thermal conductivities impossible.Here,we demonstrate that in the topological Dirac semimetal Cd3As2 the Nernst effect,i.e.,the transverse counterpart of the Seebeck effect,can generate a large TE figure of merit zNT.At room temperature,zNT≈0.5 in a small field of 2 T and it significantly surmounts its longitudinal counterpart for any field.A large Nernst effect is generically expected in topological semimetals,benefiting from both the bipolar transport of compensated electrons and holes and their high mobilities.In this case,heat and charge transport are orthogonal,i.e.,not intertwined by the WF law anymore.More importantly,further optimization of zNT by tuning the Fermi level to the Dirac node can be anticipated due to not only the enhanced bipolar transport,but also the anomalous Nernst effect arising from a pronounced Berry curvature.A combination of the topologically trivial and nontrivial advantages promises to open a new avenue towards high-efficient transverse thermoelectricity.JunSen Xiang SiLe Hu Meng Lyu WenLiang Zhu ChaoYang Ma ZiYu Chen Frank Steglich GenFu Chen PeiJie Sun 2020Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,3:0

12Field Mapping Measurement of CSRe Dipoles显示文摘The field mapping measurement of 16 C-type CSRe dipoles was measured by using Hall Sensor in last year. The main parameters of the dipoles for CSRe are listed in Table 1. The hall sensor mapping system of HIRFL- CSR consists of a single hall sensor, mapping bench and data acquirement system. The hall sensor is produced by AREPOC Co.
