| 1 | 羊蹄甲属3种园艺树种分子鉴定及亲缘关系的ISSR分析显示文摘利用ISSRPCR方法对香港羊蹄甲属(Bauhinia)中最常见3种园艺树种:红花羊蹄甲(B.purpurea)、宫粉羊蹄甲(B.variegate)和洋紫荆(B.blakeana)的遗传变异进行了研究,从74个ISSR引物中筛选出9个多态性引物用于正式扩增,共扩增出80条DNA带,平均每个引物扩增的DNA带的数目为8.88条,多态性条带数目为55条,占总条带数的68.8%。其中,有8个引物扩增出差异条带和特异条带,并分别能准确地鉴定羊蹄甲属3个园艺树种。本研究的结果表明,ISSR-PCR的DNA电泳谱带在检测香港羊蹄甲(B.blakeana)品种的真实性方面非常有用。同时,通过对3个种扩增条带的叠加性进行分析,证实了洋紫荆杂交起源的父母本为红花羊蹄甲和宫粉羊蹄甲。 | 罗瑜萍 龚维 邱英雄 Yuk Sing Gibert Chan | 2006 | 园艺学报2006，33，2： | 30 |
| 2 | Clinical utility of Epstein-Barr virus DNA and other liquid biopsy markers in nasopharyngeal carcinoma显示文摘Nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)is a malignant epithelial tumor ubiquitously associated with the Epstein-Barr virus(EBV),which is highly prevalent in South China,Southeast Asia,and North Africa.Despite being a highly radio-sensitive and treatable cancer,a majority of NPC patients are diagnosed in their advanced stage,and locoregional and distant relapses following definitive treatment contribute largely to cancer-specific mortality among these patients.Given that EBV-driven NPC is the predominant variant seen in endemic regions,various EBV detection methods have been developed and are utilized in screening,prognostication,and post-treatment surveillance of NPC patients.While the Immunoglobulin A(IgA)serology assay is the most extensively studied EBV detection method,the detection of plasma EBV DNA released during replication or cellular apoptosis has shown superior outcomes in endemic population screening,prognostication,and detection of distant relapse.Furthermore,there is emerging evidence on the use of circulating tumor cells,microRNAs,DNA hypermethylation,and combination assays in various clinical scenarios.Herein,this paper provides a comprehensive overview of the relevant studies using various EBV detection techniques in the management of NPC.Specifically,the recent advances,clinical evidence,and challenges associated with the clinical application of EBV liquid biopsies in population screening,prognostication,and surveillance of NPC are presented. | Rong Tan Sean Kean Ann Phua Yoke Lim Soong Lynette Lin Ean Oon Kian Sing Chan Sasidharan Swarnalatha Lucky Jamie Mong Min Han Tan Chwee Ming Lim | 2020 | Cancer Communications2020，40，11： | 8 |

| 4 | Similar efficacy and safety of tenofovir in Asians and non-Asians with chronic hepatitis B显示文摘AIM:To compare the efficacy and safety of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)in Asian and non-Asian chronic hepatitis B(CHB)patients.METHODS:The efficacy and safety of the initial 48wk of treatment with TDF was compared in a posthoc analysis of combined data from 217 Asians and299 non-Asians included in Studies 102 and 103and a post-approval,open-label trial(Study 123).Patient groups were compared according to baseline hepatitis B e antigen(HBe Ag)status and viral load.The main outcome measures included the proportion of patients who achieved a hepatitis B virus(HBV)DNA level<400 copies/m L at Week 48 of treatment.Secondary measures included:HBV DNA and alanine aminotransaminase(ALT)levels over time;proportion of patients with normal ALT levels;proportion of patients with HBe Ag loss/seroconversion and proportion of patients with hepatitis B surface antigen loss/seroconversion;changes in liver histology.Safety and tolerability were evaluated by the occurrence of adverse events(AEs),serious AEs,laboratory abnormalities,discontinuation of the study drug due to AEs,or death.The primary efficacy and safety analysis set included all patients who were randomly assigned to treatment and received at least one dose of study drug.RESULTS:At week 48,similar proportions of Asians and non-Asians reached HBV DNA<400 copies/m L(96%of Asian and 97%of non-Asian patients with HBe Ag-negative CHB and 83%of Asian and 79%of non-Asian patients with HBe Ag-positive CHB had HBV DNA)and normal ALT(78%of Asian and 81%of nonAsian patients with HBe Ag-negative CHB and 71%of Asian and 74%of non-Asian patients with HBe Agpositive CHB had normal ALT).On-treatment HBV DNA decline rates were similar between Asians and nonAsians regardless of baseline HBe Ag status and viralload.HBV DNA decline during the first four weeks was2.9 log10 copies/m L in HBe Ag-negative Asians and nonAsians,and in HBe Ag-positive non-Asians,and 3.1log10 copies/m L in HBe Ag-positive Asians.HBe Ag loss and seroconversion was achieved in 14%of Asians vs 26%and 24%,respectively,in non-Asians.Liver histology improved in 77.2%of Asians and 71.5%of non-Asians.No resistance to TDF developed.No renal safety signals were observed.CONCLUSION:TDF demonstrated similar viral suppression,normalization of ALT,improvements in liver fibrosis,and no detectable resistance in Asian and non-Asian patients regardless of baseline HBe Ag status. | Calvin Q Pan Sing Chan Huy Trinh Alan Yao Ho Bae Lillian Lou | 2015 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2015，21，18： | 4 |
| 5 | Colonoscopy in Hong Kong Chinese children显示文摘AIM:To investigate the safety and diagnostic yield of colonoscopy in Chinese children in whom the procedure is not often done.METHODS:We conducted a retrospective review of all colonoscopies in consecutive children who underwent their fi rst diagnostic colonoscopy from Jan 2003 to 2008.RESULTS:Seventy-nine children (48 boys,31 girls;mean age 9.2 ± 4.2 years) were identified and reviewed with a total of 82 colonoscopies performed.Successful caecal and ileal intubation rates were 97.6% and 75.6% respectively.Forty patients (50.6%) had a positive diagnosis made in colonoscopy and that included colonic polyps (23),Crohn's disease (12),ulcerative colitis (1),and miscellaneous causes (4).80% of polyps were in the rectosigmoid colon.All but one were juvenile hamartomatous polyps.The exceptionwas an adenomatous polyp.The mean ages for children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and polyps were 11.3 and 4.3 years respectively.There was no procedure-related complication.CONCLUSION:Colonoscopy is a safe procedure in our Chinese children.The increasing diagnosis of IBD in recent decades may reflect a rising incidence of the disease in our children. | Yuk Him Tam Kim Hung Lee Kin Wai Chan Jennifer Dart Yin Sihoe Sing Tak Cheung Jennifer Wai Cheung Mou | 2010 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2010，16，9： | 3 |
