1The change of Morin transition temperature in nanocrystalline α-Fe_2O_3显示文摘THE magnetic property of the ultrafine particles differs from that ot the bulk materials and has a lot of applications. Because of the size effect, magnetically ordered materials exhibit both superparamagnetism and collective magnetic excitation, and the magnetic transition temperature changes in the ultrafine particles with respect to the bulk materials as well. 4SiO/CNTs:A new anode composition for lithium-ion battery显示文摘A new anode composition SiO/CNTs (carbon nanotubes) has been prepared by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. The results of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) confirm that CNTs deposit on small SiO particles,form a cage,and enwrap SiO particles tightly. SiO/CNTs anode composition exhibits an initial discharge and charge capacity of 1171 and 789 mAh/g,and maintains a reversible capacity of 500 mAh/g after 80 cycles. 5Rapid CO_(2)-laser scribing fabrication of an electrochemical sensor for the direct detection of Pb^(2+) and Cd^(2+)显示文摘Laser-induced graphene(LIG)is a highly promising preparation material for electrochemical sensors;however,its preparation speed and nanomaterial modification steps significantly limit its mass production.Herein,this study proposed a new laser printing strategy that considerably improved the preparation speed of LIG with excellent electrochemical performance.Using the optimal parameters(laser power of 1%,scribing spacing of 0.12 mm,scribing speed of 100 mm·s^(−1)),it took only 14.2 s to complete the preparation of the detection electrode.Thus,we successfully detected Cd^(2+)and Pb^(2+)without any toxic reagents or electrode modification steps.The limits of detection of the sensor were 0.914 and 0.916μg·L^(−1)for Cd^(2+)and Pb^(2+),respectively,which are significantly lower than the required values for drinking-water quality,according to the World Health Organization guidelines.This study provides a novel approach for the rapid detection of heavy-metal ions.Guanglei Chu Yanyan Zhang Zhongrui Zhou Weixuan Zeng Dongfei Chen Siping Yu Jiemin Wang Yemin Guo Xia Sun Ming Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:1
6A Model for Blindness Prevention显示文摘Objective :To introduce the work of the prevention and treatment of blindness of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, to find out the effective model of blindness prevention and treatment in China.Method; 1. To provide high quality clinical service to rural people. 2. To conduct epidemio-logical survey 3.To train local ophthalmic professionals 4.To promote international cooperation.Result:40 000 outpatients cases, 4 500 cataract surgeries have been accomplished. Thousands cataract blind have been rehabilitated. 9 papers concerning epidemiological survey have been published. After the international training courses, 50 local ophthalmic workers have been trained and 4 cataract surgery rehabilitation centers have been founded. Conclusion : An effective model for blindness prevention and treatment should be based on clinical service, population based epidemiological survey and local ophthalmic professionals training. International cooperation is also an important promoter. 8Efficient Processing of Multi-way Joins Using MapReduce显示文摘Multi-way join is critical for many big data applications such as data mining and knowledge discovery. Even though lots of research have been devoted to processing multi-way joins using MapReduce, there are still several problems in general to be further improved, such as transferring numerous unpromising intermediate data and lacking of better coordination mechanisms. This work proposes an efficient multi-way joins processing model using MapReduce, named Sharing-Coordination-MapReduce (SC-MapReduce), which has the functions of sharing and coordination. Our SC-MapReduce model can filter the unpromising intermediatedata largely by using the sharing mechanism and optimize the multiple tasks coordination of multi-way joins. 9A Population-based Study of Lens Opactities显示文摘Purpose: Age-related lens opacity is the main cause of vision disablitity in elderly population all over the world. This study was designed to investigate the prevalence and incidence of lens opacity.Methods: 1817 eyes of 932 adults over 45 year-old were sampled randomly from 4 villeges within Doumen, a county located in the south of Guangdong provience, China. The procedure of the examination was performed by ophthalmologists. The lens opacities were graded according to a standarized photo of the Lens Opacities Classification System II (LOGS- II ).Results: The prevalence of lens opacities in nuclear color, nuclear opacity, cortical opacity and subcapsular opacity was 16. 1% , 28.,6% , 30. 3% and 8. 7% , respectively. The frequency of all four types of opacities increased with age. The prevalence of lens opacities in four types was higher in female than that in male. 10The Etiology of Vision Impairment in Target Population显示文摘Purpose: research the etiology of vision impairment in target persons over 45 years old in Doumen county , Guangdong province.Methods: Depending on the prevalences of the blindness among the person aged over 50 years, the theoretic sample rate is 1 000/4 8733×100%=2. 05%. The 8 districts were divided into 3 parts according to the local economic situation and the proportion of the population in the areas. In fact, the sampling rate is 932/ 10055 = 88.34%.Results:W’e found that impairment <0. 3 accounted for 10. 94%. The prevalence of bilateral blindness and low vision was 1. 61% and 3. 22%, respectively. Both prevalences of blindness and low vision were increased with age. The leading cuase of blindness was cataract (45. 2%). The second was corneal opacity (16. 7% ). Prevalentces of the low vision and the blindness were higher in females than in males (P<0. 005).Conclusions: Curable and preventable diseases were the leading cause for the blindness (70%). 11EVALUATION OF A LENS OPACITIES CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM II (LOCS II) IN THE SURVEY POPULATION-BASED SAMPLE显示文摘In the field work of populationbased research, 3 groups of eyes were graded by 2 observers in LOCS Ⅱ. The reproducibility of LOCS Ⅱwas evaluated by agreements(85%-100%) and k values(0.661-1) obtained in our study. The satisfying results show that LOCS Ⅱis not only easy to be learned and to be applied consistently by different observers, but also good reproducibility in the field work.
