| 1 | 3D bioprinting for biomedical devices and tissue engineering: A review of recent trends and advances显示文摘3D printing,an additive manufacturing based technology for precise 3D construction,is currently widely employed to enhance applicability and function of cell laden scaffolds.Research on novel compatible biomaterials for bioprinting exhibiting fast crosslinking properties is an essential prerequisite toward advancing 3D printing applications in tissue engineering.Printability to improve fabrication process and cell encapsulation are two of the main factors to be considered in development of 3D bioprinting.Other important factors include but are not limited to printing fidelity,stability,crosslinking time,biocompatibility,cell encapsulation and proliferation,shear-thinning properties,and mechanical properties such as mechanical strength and elasticity.In this review,we recite recent promising advances in bioink development as well as bioprinting methods.Also,an effort has been made to include studies with diverse types of crosslinking methods such as photo,chemical and ultraviolet(UV).We also propose the challenges and future outlook of 3D bioprinting application in medical sciences and discuss the high performance bioinks. | Soroosh Derakhshanfar Rene Mbeleck Kaige Xu Xingying Zhang Wen Zhong Malcolm Xing | 2018 | Bioactive Materials2018,3,2: | 21 |
| 2 | Gold Nanostars-AIE Theranostic Nanodots with Enhanced Fluorescence and Photosensitization Towards Effective Image-Guided Photodynamic Therapy显示文摘Dual-functional aggregation-induced photosensitizers(AIE-PSs)with singlet oxygen generation(SOG)ability and bright fluorescence in aggregated state have received much attention in image-guided photodynamic therapy(PDT).However,designing an AIE-PS with both high SOG and intense fluorescence via molecular design is still challenging.In this work,we report a new nanohybrid consisting of gold nanostar(AuNS)and AIE-PS dots with enhanced fluorescence and photosensitization for theranostic applications.The spectral overlap between the extinction of AuNS and fluorescence emission of AIE-PS dots(665 nm)is carefully selected using five different AuNSs with distinct localized surface plasmon(LSPR)peaks.Results show that all the AuNS s can enhance the 1 O2 production of AIE-PS dots,among which the AuNS with LSPR peak at 585 nm exhibited the highest 1 O2 enhancement factor of15-fold with increased fluorescence brightness.To the best of our knowledge,this is the highest enhancement factor reported for the metalenhanced singlet oxygen generation systems.The Au585@AIE-PS nanodots were applied for simultaneous fluorescence imaging and photodynamic ablation of HeLa cancer cells with strongly enhanced PDT efficiency in vitro.This study provides a better understanding of the metal-enhanced AIE-PS nanohybrid systems,opening up new avenue towards advanced image-guided PDT with greatly improved efficacy. | Mohammad Tavakkoli Yaraki Min Wu Eshu Middha Wenbo Wu Soroosh Daqiqeh Rezaei Bin Liu Yen Nee Tan | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,4: | 3 |
| 3 | 慢性冠脉狭窄时局部心肌收缩功能与心肌血流的关系显示文摘目的 评价慢性冠脉狭窄时心肌收缩功能与心肌血流 (MBF)的关系 ,以探讨慢性可逆性左室收缩功能低下的发生机制。方法 于左前降支 (LAD)和左回旋支 (LCX )近端以安放“水膨胀”式缩窄器的方法 ,建立 13只慢性多支冠脉狭窄犬模型。二维超声评价室壁增厚率 (%WT) ,放射性微球定量心肌血流量 (MBF)。结果 术后第 7dLAD和LCX供血区的平均 %WT较术前均已降低 (P <0 .0 5 ) ,但MBF在术后第 2 1d才出现降低 (P <0 .0 5 )。术后第 7d 2 6个 (2 6 /5 0 )心肌节段表现为局部室壁运动异常(RWMA) ;在 15对配对的RWMA和非RWMA中 ,两者的MBF差异无显著性意义 (P >0 .0 5 ) ;MBF与 %WT间无明显相关 (P >0 .0 5 )。然而术后第 42d ,在 13对配对的RWMA和非RWMA中 ,RWMA的MBF均明显低于非RWMA(P <0 .0 5 ) ,且 36个RWMA的MBF均与 %WT有良好的相关性 (P <0 .0 0 0 1)。结论慢性冠脉狭窄时 ,存活而收缩功能低下的心肌可伴或不伴MBF的降低 。 | 宾建平 Robert A Pelberg 刘伊丽 查道刚 Soroosh Firoozan Sanjiv Kaul | 2001 | 中华超声影像学杂志2001,10,7: | 3 |

| 10 | Adaptive Dimensional Learning with a Tolerance Framework for the Differential Evolution Algorithm显示文摘The Differential Evolution(DE)algorithm,which is an efficient optimization algorithm,has been used to solve various optimization problems.In this paper,adaptive dimensional learning with a tolerance framework for DE is proposed.The population is divided into an elite subpopulation,an ordinary subpopulation,and an inferior subpopulation according to the fitness values.The ordinary and elite subpopulations are used to maintain the current evolution state and to guide the evolution direction of the population,respectively.The inferior subpopulation learns from the elite subpopulation through the dimensional learning strategy.If the global optimum is not improved in a specified number of iterations,a tolerance mechanism is applied.Under the tolerance mechanism,the inferior and elite subpopulations implement the restart strategy and the reverse dimensional learning strategy,respectively.In addition,the individual status and algorithm status are used to adaptively adjust the control parameters.To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm,six state-of-the-art DE algorithm variants are compared on the benchmark functions.The results of the simulation show that the proposed algorithm outperforms other variant algorithms regarding function convergence rate and solution accuracy. | Wei Li Xinqiang Ye Ying Huang Soroosh Mahmoodi | 2022 | Complex System Modeling and Simulation2022,2,1: | 1 |
