Morphologically, U. ocellata and U. ornata were identified and cytogenetically, 2n = 36 chromosome. 16S, cyt b and 12S genes fragmentamplification shows 597, 399 and 450 base pair respectively and more A-T than G-C base pair andmore A/C than T/G base contents. While, sequences blasting in GenBank, followed by construction of phylogenetic tree revealed, 16S and cty b sequences were similar to U. ocellata sequences, andclustered together in phylogenetic tree, in contrast, 12S sequences from same species were related tosubspecies U. ornata ornata sequences and clustered together in the phylogenetic tree.
