1Damage investigation of girder bridges under the Wenchuan earthquake and corresponding seismic design recommendations显示文摘An investigation of girder bridges on National Highway 213 and the Doujiangyan-Wenchuan expressway after the Wenchuan earthquake showed that typical types of damage included:span collapses due to unseating at expansion joints;shear key failure;and damage of the expansion joint due to the slide-induced large relative displacement between the bottom of the girder and the top of the laminated-rubber bearing.This slide,however,can actually act as a form of isolation for the substructure,and as a result,the piers and foundation of most of the bridges on state route 213 suffered minor damage.The exception was the Baihua Bridge,which suffered severe damage.Corresponding seismic design recommendations are presented based on this investigation.Li Jianzhong Peng Tianbo Xu Yan 2008Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2008,7,4:67
2Study of the seismic performance of expansion double spherical seismic isolation bearings for continuous girder bridges显示文摘The development of an expansion double spherical seismic isolation (DSSI) bearing by modifying the fixed DSSI bearing is described in this paper. The expansion DSSI bearing is characterized by its good energy dissipation and horizontal displacement capacity and has been successfully integrated into the seismic design of several important engineering projects in China. It is envisioned to be used as a substitute for ordinary expansion bearings in continuous girder bridges to distribute the longitudinal earthquake action among all the piers. Its development, configuration and working mechanism are introduced first. The test method and the seismic performance of an expansion DSSI bearing are then briefly described. 4Preparation of Hierarchically Trimodal-Porous ZSM-5 Composites through Steam-assisted Conversion of Macroporous Aluminosilica Gel with Two Different Quaternary Ammonium Hydroxides显示文摘This article presents a detailed structural study of a new spherical Mg Cl2-supported Ti Cl4 Ziegler-Natta catalyst for isotactic propylene polymerization, and researches on the relationship between catalyst structure and polymer properties. The spherical support with the chemical composition of CH3CH2 OMg OCH(CH2Cl)2 has been synthesized from a new dispersion system and is used as the supporting material to prepare Ziegler-Natta catalyst. The XRD analysis indicates that the catalyst is fully activated with δ-Mg Cl2 in the active catalyst. The far-IR spectrometric results confirm again the presence of δ-Mg Cl2 in the active catalyst. Textural property of the active catalyst exhibits high surface area coupled with high porosity. The high activity in propylene polymerization is mainly ascribed to the full activation and the porous structure of the catalyst. Scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive spectrometer mapping results indicate a uniform titanium distribution throughout the catalyst particles. Particle size analysis shows that the catalyst has a narrow particle size distribution. The perfect spherical shape, uniform titanium distribution and narrow particle size distribution of the catalyst confirm the advantage of polymer particles production with less fines. The solid state 13 C NMR and mid-IR spectroscopic analyses indicate that there exists strong complexation between diisobutyl phthalate and Mg Cl2, which leads to the high isotacticity of polypropylene.Zhao Tianbo Wang Jia Xu Xin Wang Guijie 2015China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2015,17,1:8
5Effects of redox potential on soil cadmium solubility:Insight into microbial community显示文摘Understanding the role of microbes in the solubility of cadmium(Cd) is of fundamental importance for remediation of Cd toxicity. The present study aimed to identify the microbes that involved in regulating Cd solubility and to reveal possible mechanisms. Therefore,microbial communities were investigated through high-throughput sequencing approach, the molecular ecological network was constructed and metagenomes were predicted. Our results indicated that redox conditions affected both the solubility of soil Cd and the microbial communities. Anaerobic microbes, such as Anaerolineaceae, did not only play important roles in shaping the microbial community in soils, but might also be involved in regulating the Cd solubility. Two possible mechanisms that how Anaerolineaceae involved in Cd solubility are(1) Anaerolineaceae are important organic matter degraders under anoxic conditions and(2) Anaerolineaceae can co-exist with methane metabolism microbes, while methane metabolism promotes the precipitation of soluble Cd. Thus, application of Anaerolineaceae in bioremediation of soil Cadmium contamination is a potential approach. 7Synthesis of Waterborne Polyurethane Modified by Nano-SiO_2 Silicone and Properties of the WPU Coated RDX显示文摘A series of nano silica/silicone modified waterborne polyurethane(WPU) have been synthesized from polytetramethylene glycol and isophorone diisocyanate, dihydroxymethyl propionic acid and triethylamine, ethylenediamine, trimethylolpropane, nano-SiO2 and the silane coupling agent KH550. The effect of the dosage of nano-SiO2 on the WPU-Si membrane and the coated RDX(cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine) particles have been studied in terms of their surface properties, mechanical properties, and thermal stability. The results showed that with the increase of Si content, the stability of the emulsion reduced gradually. The material with more Si content displayed an increased thermodynamic stability, an increased high temperature resistance, an increased tensile strength and a decreased elongation at break. 8Physicochemical Properties and Catalytic Performance of a Novel Aluminosilicate Composite Zeolite for Hydrocarbon Cracking Reaction显示文摘A novel micro-micro/mesoporous aluminosilicate ZSM-5-Y/MCM-41 composite molecular sieve with a MCM-41 type structure was synthesized through a novel process of the self-assembly of CTAB surfactant micellae with silica-alumina source originated from alkaline treatment of ZSM-5 zeolite.The physical properties of the ZSM-5- Y/MCM-41 composite molecular sieve were characterized by XRD,Py-FTIR and N_2 adsorption-desorption techniques. Different kinds of molecular sieves including ZSM-5,Y zeolite,Al-MCM-41,ZSM-5/MCM-41 and ZSM-5-Y/MCM- 41 as cracking catalysts were investigated,using 1,3,5-triisopropylbenzene(1,3,5-TIPB) as the probe molecule.Catalytic tests showed that the ZSM-5-Y/MCM-41 composite molecular sieve exhibited higher catalytic activity compared with the microporous ZSM-5 zeolite,Y zeolite,mesoporous Al-MCM-41 molecular sieve and ZSM-5/MCM-41 composite molecular sieve under the same conditions.The remarkable catalytic activity was mainly attributed to the presence of the hierarchical pore structure and proper acidity in the ZSM-5-Y/MCM-41 composite catalyst.Meanwhile, a carbenium ion mechanism was put forward for the cracking of 1,3,5-TIPB.Qi Jian Zhao Tianbo Xu Xin Li Fengyan Sun Guida 2010China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2010,12,1:4
9Study on the seismic performance of a double spherical seismic isolation bearing显示文摘In this paper,the configuration and working mechanism of the recently developed double spherical seismic isolation (DSSI) bearing are introduced in detail.Then,vertical displacement of the DSSI bearing due to sliding on a spherical surface is analyzed.The results from seismic performance testing of the bearing are given,and a numerical analysis of a four span continuous girder bridge is performed.The numerical analysis compares the influence of three different bearing arrangement schemes on the structural seismic response,and the results show that the DSSI bearing is effective in increasing the vertical load bearing capacity,reducing the vertical displacement,and controlling the energy dissipation capacity within a certain range.Peng Tianbo Li Jianzhong Xu Yan Fan Lichu 2008Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2008,7,4:4
10Isolation and ectopic expression of a bamboo MADS-box gene显示文摘A cDNA named DlMADS18 was isolated from the young spikelets of the sweet bamboo, Dendrocalamus latiflorus by RACE. DNA sequence analysis showed that DlMADS18 was composed of full ORF and 3’UTR, but without 5’UTR. The cDNA contained 1039 nucleotides and encoded a putative protein of 249 amino acid residues. The gene displayed the structure of a typical plant MADS box gene, which consisted of an MADS domain, K domain, a short I region, and the C-terminal region. Phylogenetic analysis of plant MADS box genes based on amino acid se- quences revealed that DlMADS18 was grouped into the AGAMOUS-LIKE 6 (AGL6)-like subfamily. It was most likely homologous to the OsMADS6 of rice (Oryza sativa), with 88% sequence identity for the entire amino acid sequences. The DlMADS18 also showed relatively high amino acid sequence identity (59%) to AGL6 of Arabidopsis thaliana. To study the functions of DlMADS18, DlMADS18 cDNA clone driven by the CaMV 35S promoter was transformed into Arabidopsis plants. Transgenic plants of DlMADS18 exhibited the pheno- types of curled leaves, dwarfism, and early flowering with clustered terminal flowers. 11Synthetic aperture ptychography:coded sensor translation for joint spatial-Fourier bandwidth expansion显示文摘Conventional ptychography translates an object through a localized probe beam to widen the field of view in real space.Fourier ptychography translates the object spectrum through a pupil aperture to expand the Fourier bandwidth in reciprocal space.Here we report an imaging modality,termed synthetic aperture ptychography(SAP),to get the best of both techniques.In SAP,we illuminate a stationary object using an extended plane wave and translate a coded image sensor at the far field for data acquisition.The coded layer attached on the sensor modulates the object exit waves and serves as an effective ptychographic probe for phase retrieval.The sensor translation process in SAP synthesizes a large complex-valued wavefront at the intermediate aperture plane.By propagating this wavefront back to the object plane,we can widen the field of view in real space and expand the Fourier bandwidth in reciprocal space simultaneously.We validate the SAP approach with transmission targets and reflection silicon microchips.A 20-mm aperture was synthesized using a 5-mm sensor,achieving a fourfold gain in resolution and 16-fold gain in field of view for object recovery.In addition,the thin sample requirement in ptychography is no longer required in SAP.One can digitally propagate the recovered exit wave to any axial position for post-acquisition refocusing.The SAP scheme offers a solution for far-field sub-diffraction imaging without using lenses.It can be adopted in coherent diffraction imaging setups with radiation sources from visible light,extreme ultraviolet,and X-ray,to electron.PENGMING SONG SHAOWEI JIANG TIANBO WANG CHENGFEI GUO RUIHAI WANG TERRANCE ZHANG GUOAN ZHENG 2022Photonics Research2022,10,7:2
12MEMS-in-the-lens architecture for a miniature high-NA laser scanning microscope显示文摘Laser scanning microscopes can be miniaturized for in vivo imaging by substituting optical microelectromechanical system(MEMS)devices in place of larger components.The emergence of multifunctional active optical devices can support further miniaturization beyond direct component replacement because those active devices enable diffraction-limited performance using simpler optical system designs.In this paper,we propose a catadioptric microscope objective lens that features an integrated MEMS device for performing biaxial scanning,axial focus adjustment,and control of spherical aberration.The MEMS-in-the-lens architecture incorporates a reflective MEMS scanner between a low-numerical-aperture back lens group and an aplanatic hyperhemisphere front refractive element to support high-numerical-aperture imaging.We implemented this new optical system using a recently developed hybrid polymer/silicon MEMS three-dimensional scan mirror that features an annular aperture that allows it to be coaxially aligned within the objective lens without the need for a beam splitter.The optical performance of the active catadioptric system is simulated and imaging of hard targets and human cheek cells is demonstrated with a confocal microscope that is based on the new objective lens design.Tianbo Liu Milind Rajadhyaksha David L.Dickensheets 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:2
13Synthesis of Hierarchically Porous FAU/γ-Al2O3 Composites with Different Morphologies via Directing Agent Induced Method显示文摘Zeolite FAU composites with a macro/meso-microporous hierarchical structure were hydrothermally synthesized using macro-mesoporous γ-Al_2O_3 monolith as the substrate by means of the liquid crystallization directing agent(LCDA) induced method. No template was needed throughout the synthesis processes. The structure and porosity of zeolite composites were analyzed by means of X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and N_2adsorption-desorption isotherms. The results showed that the supported zeolite composites with varied zeolitic crystalline phases and different morphologies can be obtained by adjusting the crystallization parameters, such as the crystallization temperature, the composition and the alkalinity of the precursor solution. The presence of LCDA was defined as a determinant for synthesizing the zeolite composites. The mechanisms for formation of the hierarchically porous FAU zeolite composites in the LCDA induced synthesis process were discussed. 15Method for Control of Particle Size and Morphology of Paraffin/Polystyrene-Divinylbenzene Microcapsules显示文摘Microencapsulation of phase change materials(Micro PCMs) has been paid special attention because of their extensive applications in saving and releasing energy. Micro PCMs containing paraffin with a melting point of 55 ℃ in polystyrene-divinylbenzene(P(St-DVB)) were prepared by suspension-like polymerization. The characterization of microcapsules by FTIR, DSC and TG proved that paraffin had been successfully encapsulated and the proportion of encapsulated paraffin was 49.8%—58.5%. The effects of polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) with different molecular weights serving as the suspension stabilizer were investigated in detail. The results illustrated that the type of PVP had a significant influence on the particle size of Micro PCMs. The average diameter of Micro PCMs decreased with an increasing molecular weight of PVP. Moreover, the crosslinker-postaddition method was adopted in this study to improve the morphology of P(St-DVB) Micro PCMs. SEM images showed that when the DVB was added at the 2nd hour of polymerization the morphology of obtained P(St-DVB) Micro PCMs exhibited good sphericity since it could avoid the influence of cross-linker agent during the nucleation period.Wang Lili Zhao Tianbo Li Yang Ding Hongjing 2016China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2016,18,1:2
16Factors Influencing Droplet Size of Silicone Oil Emulsion with High Solid Content显示文摘A silicone oil emulsion with 60% of solid content was prepared with methyl silicone oil used as the main material by means of the emulsifier-in-oil method.The influence of emulsification conditions on the droplet diameter of silicone oil emulsion was discussed.The experimental results showed that the emulsification method,including the quantity of the emulsifier,the time and temperature of emulsification,the emulsifying water dosage,and the stirring speed,had significant impact on the droplet size.The optimal conditions were identified to achieve a smallest droplet diameter of the emulsion at an emulsifier dosage of 6%,an emulsification temperature of 70 ℃,an emulsification time of 30 min,and a stirring speed of 1100 r/min,with water added in two portions at a ratio of 1:1.The high-solid content silicone oil emulsion with a mean droplet diameter of 2.731 μm was prepared under these conditions that could ensure absence of stratification and floating oil under centrifuging at a speed of 3000 r/min for 30 min.Li Fengyan Zhu Wenli Zhao Tianbo Dai Danghui Yang Fang 2011China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2011,13,3:2
