1Studies and advances on joint source-channel encoding/decoding techniques in flow media communications显示文摘Joint source-channel coding/decoding (JSCC/JSCD) techniques in flow media communications have become a state-of-the-art and one of the challenging research subjects in the spatial communication area. They have great application prospective and deep impact in various manned space flights, satellite missions, mobile radio communications and deep-space explorations. In the last few years, there have been influential achievements in JSCC/JSCD studies. This paper aims at an introduction to the basic principles of joint source-channel optimal design. A general summarization and classification for various existing JSCC/JSCD methods is addressed. 2Joint source-channel coded multidimensional modulation for variable-length codes显示文摘Resource-constrained networks such as deep space communications and mobile communications have the phenomena such us large-scale path loss,small-scale fading,and multipath effect,which are very hostile for information transmission.Combining Shannon’s source-channel coding theory with multidimensional modulation,an en/decoding method is proposed in this article called variable-length symbol-level joint sourcechannel and multidimensional modulation.Utilizing symbol-level source a priori information,an optimized symbol-level L-dimensional M-ary phase shift keying(LD-MPSK)constellation mapping function has been derived,which can increase free Euclidean distance between modulated symbols and enhance the decoding performance.It has been shown in the simulation results that the proposed scheme can achieve more than 2 dB signal-to-noise ratio gains compared with the conventional bit-level schemes under the condition of the same error rate.CHENG Chen TU GuoFang ZHANG Can 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,6:3
3NEW ITERATIVE SUPER-TRELLIS DECODING WITH SOURCE A PRIORI INFORMATION FOR VLCS WITH TURBO CODES显示文摘A novel Joint Source and Channel Decoding (JSCD) scheme for Variable Length Codes (VLCs) concatenated with turbo codes utilizing a new super-trellis decoding algorithm is presented in this letter. The basic idea of our decoding algorithm is that source a priori information with the form of bit transition probabilities corresponding to the VLC tree can be derived directly from sub-state transitions in new composite-state represented super-trellis. A Maximum Likelihood (ML) decoding algorithm for VLC sequence estimations based on the proposed super-trellis is also described. 5Joint source channel VL coding/decoding for deep space communication networks based on a space trellis显示文摘This paper presents joint source channel variable length (VL) coding/decoding based on a space trellis.Through constructing a joint decoding plane trellis,better decoding performance can be achieved than by using the bit-level decoding algorithm.However,the plane trellis is complicated,which results in high decoding complexity for decoding VL turbo codes.To solve this problem,we construct a space trellis and design a low-complexity joint decoding algorithm with a variable length symbol-a posteriori probability (VLS-APP) algorithm in resource constrained deep space communication networks.Simulation results show that the proposed approach reduces the decoding complexity by 10% compared with the plane trellis,and the gain of Eb/N0 is about 0.2 dB at SER=10-4.Furthermore,it provides substantial error protection for variable-length encoded image data.WU WeiRen TU Juan TU GuoFang GAO ShaoShuai ZHANG Can 2011Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,9:2
6Scalable video object coding & QoS control for next generation space internet显示文摘The next generation space internet (NGSI) is based on all-IP-based mobile network that merges land-based network, sea-based network, sky-based network, spacebased network, deep space-based network together using existing assess network technologies. There are high signal propagation delays, high error rate, bandwidth variation and time-variety in NGSI. In order to adapt to various space communication environment constraints and bandwidth variation, we propose a reduced dimension scalable video coding scheme based on CCSDS IDCS algorithm and quality of service (QoS) control method by cross layer design (CLD). 8SAR imagery coding based on blocking high frequency energy matching显示文摘A new fractal image compression algorithm based on high frequency energy (HFE) partitioning andmatched domain block searching is presented to code synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery. In the hybridcoding algorithm, the original SAR image is decomposed to low frequency components and high frequencycomponents by wavelet transform (WT). Then the coder uses HFE of block to partition and searchthe matched domain block for each range block to code the low frequency components. For the high frequencycomponents, a modified embedded zero-tree wavelet coding algorithm is applied. Experiment resultsshow that the proposed coder obtains about 0. 3dB gain when compared to the traditional fractal coderbased on the quadtree partition. 9Pseudo-Channel Matrix Truncation Based Spatial Correlation Mitigation in Massive MIMO显示文摘Massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO),a technique that can greatly increase spectral efficiency(SE)of cellular networks,has attracted significant interests in recent years.One of the major limitations of massive MIMO systems is pilot contamination,which will deteriorate the SE.The superimposed pilot-based scheme has been proved to be a viable method for pilot contamination reduction.However,it cannot break through another limitation of massive MIMO,i.e.,spatial correlation.In addition,it will also lead to interference between the pilot and user data since they are imposed together.In this paper,we try to tackle these two issues,which will be described as follows.Firstly,a column-wise asymptotically orthogonal matrix,named as pseudo-channel matrix,is developed by orthogonalization of received signal.To recover the information about the large-scale fading(LSF)coefficients,the pseudo-channel matrix is truncated according to the cardinality of adjacent users set(CAUS).By this means,spatial correlation can be mitigated effectively.Secondly,robust independent component analysis(RobustICA)is used to reduce the interference caused by user data,and as a result the system performance can be further improved.Numerical simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.Yitian Chen Shaoshuai Gao Guofang Tu Hao Qiu 2021China Communications2021,18,9:0

13A Novel Radio Resource Management for Interference Mitigation in OFDMA System显示文摘In Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) systems, such as Long Term Evolution (LTE) and so on, the resources used by each user are orthogonal, and the OFDMA systems performances are mainly affected by the inter-cell interference. Therefore, the inter-cell interference mitigation technology becomes a hotspot. The objective of interference mitigation technologies used in OFDMA systems are to increase cell-edge throughput and average cell throughput. In this paper, the Resource Block Planning (BRBP) based scheme is proposed to mitigate the inter-cell interference and improve the cell-edge throughput.
