4Asiatic acid inhibits lung cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo by destroying mitochondria显示文摘Asiatic acid(AA), a pentacyclic triterpene found in Centella asiatica, displays significant antiproliferative effects on cancer cells in vitro although the underlying mechanism of this effect remains unknown. This study investigated the efficacy and mechanism of action of AA against lung cancer both in vivo and in vitro. Using the MTT assay, AA was found to induce apoptosis in a dose- and timedependent manner, an effect enhanced by pretreatment with an autophagy inhibitor. It also elevated expression of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3(LC3) and decreased the expression of p62.Furthermore, exposure to AA resulted in collapse of the mitochondrial membrane potential and generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS), suggesting mitochondria are the target of AA. In the mouse lung cancer xenograft model, oral administration of AA significantly inhibited tumor volume and weight accompanied by significant apoptosis of lung cancer cells. In addition, it led to a significant decrease in the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA). 5Arabidopsis ENOR3 regulates RNAi-mediated antiviral defense显示文摘Viruses can infect host plants to cause severe diseases and substantial agricultural loss, while plants have evolved RNA interference(RNAi) strategy to defend against viral infection. Despite enormous efforts, only a few host proteins in RNAi pathway were shown to mediate antiviral defense, including RNA-dependent RNA polymerase 1(RDR1), RDR6, DICER-LIKE 2(DCL2) and DCL4. In this study, we carried out a genetic screen for antiviral factors of RNAi pathway in Arabidopsis rdr6 background via inoculation with a 2 bdeficient Cucumber Mosaic Virus(CMV-D2b). We identified a mutant susceptible to CMV-D2b, referred to as enhancer of rdr6(enor) 3-1 rdr6, and found that ENOR3 encodes a functionally unknown protein with high homology to the mammalian Non Imprinted in Prader-Willi/Angelman(NIPA) magnesium transporters. ENOR3 inhibits accumulation of CMV-D2b and acts additively with RDR1, RDR6, DCL2 and DCL4 in antiviral defense. 7Interfacial Assembly Directed Unique Mesoporous Architectures:From Symmetric to Asymmetric显示文摘CONSPECTUS:Functional mesoporous materials have experienced flourishing developments over the past 30 years,and they are now a big family including large variety of compositions and architectures.Due to large surface area,high pore volume,tunable pore size,and unique mesostructures,mesoporous nanomaterials have been widely used in catalysis,energy conversion and storage,drug delivery,etc.Out of the various methods of architecting mesoporous materials,the soft-templating method that allows regulating the architecture by tuning the assembly process,is used mostly for fabricating mesoporous materials.In soft templating methods,amphiphilic surfactants and precursors assemble into“soft”micelles,and micelles further assemble into mesoporous materials.Usually,micelles homogeneously nucleate and assemble into mesoporous nanomaterials.Such a homogeneous assembly process naturally leads to“routine”structures such as nanospheres or other symmetric architectures.Introduction of nanoparticles during the micelle assembly process results in conventional core@shell structures,which though combining the mesoporous shell and functional core,is still simple.Nowadays,growing demands in diverse applications urgently require mesoporous nanomaterials with novelty in mesostructures,compositions,surface properties,morphologies,functionalities,etc.Therefore,researchers have been seeking to gain better control of the micelles’assembly process,pursuing the synthesis of mesoporous nanomaterials with unique architectures,especially morphology,mesostructure,surface chemistry,etc.Recently,the effect of“interface”during micelles’assembly process has aroused great attention.The introduction of an interface into the reaction system turns the micelles’homogeneous assembly into a heterogeneous one,altering their assembly behavior and thus leading to mesoporous nanomaterials with unique architectures.By manipulation of the interfacial-assembly behavior of micelles,a series of mesoporous nanomaterials with unique architectures have been developed,with structures ranging from symmetric to asymmetric.In this Account,the recent progresses in interfacial-assembly-directed mesoporous nanomaterials with unique architectures,both the fabrication and applications are systematic reviewed.The architectures of the obtained mesoporous nanomaterials are categorized into symmetric and asymmetric,including virus-like,bouquet-like,multishell hollow structures,and also Janus,multipods,hemisphere structures,etc.We introduced how interfaces such as nanoparticle−surface,water−oil interface,macropore scaffold interfaces,etc.are utilized to direct the assembly of micelles.The methods of controlling micelles’interfacial-assembly behavior,such as biphasic assembly method,interfacial-energy method,interface tension method,and so on are highlighted.The applications of these unique mesoporous nanomaterials in fields of catalysis,energy conversion,and biomedicine are surveyed.At the end of the review,a brief summary of the field,as well as shortcomings,challenges,and perspectives of the field are also included.Tiancong Zhao Liang Chen Runfeng Lin Pengfei Zhang Kun Lan Wei Zhang Xiaomin Li Dongyuan Zhao 2020Accounts of Materials Research2020,1,1:1

12A molecular framework for signaling crosstalk between jasmonate and ethylene in anthocyanin biosynthesis,trichome development,and defenses against insect herbivores in Arabidopsis显示文摘The phytohormones ethylene(ET)and jasmonate(JA)regulate plant development,growth,and defense responses;however,the molecular basis for their signaling crosstalk is unclear.Here,we show that JA-ZIM-domain(JAZ)proteins,which repress JA signaling,repress trichome initiation/branching and anthocyanin accumulation,and inhibit the transcriptional activity of the basic helix-loop-helix(bHLH)-MYBmembers(GLABRA3(GL3)-GL1 and TRANSPARENT TESTA 8(TT8)-MYB75)of WD-repeat/bHLH/MYB(WBM)complexes.The ET-stabilized transcription factors ETHYLENEINSENSITIVE3(EIN3)and EIN3-LIKE1(EIL1)were found to bind to several members of WBM complexes,including GL3,ENHANCER OF GLABRA3(EGL3),TT8,GL1,MYB75,and TRANSPARENT TESTA GLABRA1(TTG1).This binding repressed the transcriptional activity of the b HLH-MYB proteins and inhibited anthocyanin accumulation,trichome formation,and defenses against insect herbivores while promoting root hair formation.Conversely,the JA-activated b HLH members GL3,EGL3,and TT8 of WBM complexes were able to interact with and attenuate the transcriptional activity of EIN3/EIL1 at the HOOKLESS1 promoter,and their overexpression inhibited apical hook formation.Thus,this study demonstrates a molecular framework for signaling crosstalk between JA and ET in plant development,secondary metabolism,and defense responses.Susheng Song Bei Liu Junqiao Song Shihai Pang Tianxue Song Shang Gao Yue Zhang Huang Huang Tiancong Qi 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,9:1
13Highly stable hybrid single-micelle:A universal nanocarrier for hydrophobic bioimaging agents显示文摘As the first-line technology,micelles play a pivotal role in in vivo delivery of theranostic agents because of their high biocompatibility and universality.However,in complex physiological environments(extreme dilution,pH,and oxidation or reduction,etc.),they generally suffer from structural instability and insufficient protection for encapsulated cargos.It is urgent to reinforce the structural stability of the micelles at the single-micelle level.By using the FDA-approved Pluronic F127 surfactants and indocyanine green(ICG)bioimaging agents as model,herein,we propose the silane-crosslinking assisted strategy to reinforce the structural stability of the single-micelle.Different from the traditional silane hydrolysis under the harsh experimental conditions(acidic,alkaline,and high temperature hydrothermal,etc.),the ICG loaded F127@SiO_(2) hybrid single-micelles(ICG@H-micelles)with controllable sizes(15-35 nm)are synthesized at neutral pH and room temperature,which is crucial for the maintenance of the physicochemical properties of the encapsulated cargos.With the ultra-thin SiO_(2)(<5 nm)at hydrophilic layer of the single-micelle,the structural and fluorescence stability of ICG@H-micelles are much higher than the conventional micelle(ICG@micelles)in the simulated physiological environments of dilution,oxidation or reduction,and low pH.Because of the high structural and fluorescence stability,the ICG@H-micelles also exhibit longer duration time in the tumor and gastrointestinal tract bioimaging.Qiaoyu Zhou Tiancong Zhao Mengli Liu Dongrui Yin Minchao Liu Ahmed AElzatahry Fan Zhang Dongyuan Zhao Xiaomin Li 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:1
14Efficient Preparation of Nanoparticle-Reinforced Nickel-based Composite Coating with Highly Preferred(220)Orientation显示文摘Nanoparticle-reinforced metal matrix composite coatings have significant potential in mechanical part surface strengthening owing their excellent mechanical properties.This paper reports a phenomenon in which the grain orientation gradually evolves to(220)as the deposition current density increases when preparing nanoparticle-reinforced nickel-based composite coatings through jet electrodeposition(JED).During the preparation of the Ni-SiC composite coatings,the deposition current density increased from 180 A/dm2 to 220 A/dm2,and TC(220)gradually increase from 41.4%to 97.7%.With an increase of TC(220),the self-corrosion potential increases from−0.575 to−0.477 V,the corrosion current density decreases from 9.52μA/cm^2 to 2.76μA/cm^2,the diameter of the corrosion pits that after 10 days of immersion in a 3.5 wt%NaCl solution decreases from 278–944 nm to 153–260 nm,and the adhesion of the coating increases from 24.9 N to 61.6 N.Compared a conventional electrodeposition(CED),the Ni-SiC composite coating using JED has the advantages of a smooth surface morphology,high corrosion resistance,and strong adhesion,which are more obvious with an increase in TC(220).Renjie Ji Hui Jin Yonghong Liu Tiancong Dong Fan Zhang Lilong Zhao Xinlei Wu Qiang Sun Peng Liu Hang Dong Chi Ma Dege Li Baoping Cai 2020Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2020,33,6:0

16CR PROCESS FOR TREATING COMPLEX TIN DUSTS CONTAINING HIGH ARSENIC AND ANTIMONY显示文摘A new process for treating complex tin dusts containing high arsenic and antimony-CR chlorination-dry-distillation process(here after,CR process)has been described.The key step of this process is the CR distilling arsenic process in which the tin dusts are leached with a medium concentration hydrochloric acid.A metal or a metallic sulfide is used as a reducing agent to reduce As(V)and Sb(V),and arsenic trichloride is simultaneously distilled from the leaching system.Then arsenic is precipitated for regenerated hydrochloric acid with the sulflde precipitation method.The prominent characteristics of the CR process are of great advantage in removing impurities such as Pb,As,Zn and Sb from the dusts in one step,recovering all valuable elements,eliminating the arsenic harm,and the consequent metallurgy of tin.Tang Motang Zhao Tiancong 1992Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China1992,2,4:0

18THIOUREA LEACHING OF GOLD FROM A CALCINE OF GOLD-BEARING ARSENICAL PYRITE CONCENTRATE显示文摘The thiourea leaching of gold from the calcine of gold-bearing arsenical pyrite concentrate of Kangjiawan mine was studied.The effects of the leaching time,the concentrations of thiourea,hydrochloric acid and initial ferric ion on the leaching recovery of gold were investigated,and a regressive model has been established,which showed that the concentrations of thiourea and hydrochloric acid were the most important factors,leaching time the second,and concentration of the initial ferric ion the least・Under the optimal conditions,that is,temperature 50℃,the ratio of liquid to solid 4:1,thiourea 12g/L,hydrochloric acid 1 mol/L,and initial ferric ion 1 g/L,the leaching recoveries of gold and silver were more than 81%and 73%,respectively.The increase of silver recovery and the reduction of thiourea consumption could be attained when sodium sulphite was added.Xu Shengming Zhang Chuanfu Zhao Tiancong Wu Yanjun 1996Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China1996,6,1:0
