STING signaling activation inhibits HBV replication and attenuates the severity of liver injury and HBV-induced fibrosis显示文摘The covalently closed circular DNA(cccDNA)of HBV plays a crucial role in viral persistence and is also a risk factor for developing HBV-induced diseases, including liver fibrosis.Stimulator of interferon genes(STING),a master regulator of DNA-mediated innate immune activation,is a potential therapeutic target for viral infection and virus-related diseases. In this study,agonist-induced STING signaling activation in macrophages was revealed to inhibit cccDNA-mediated transcription and HBV replication via epigenetic modification in hepatocytes.Notably,STING activation could efficiently attenuate the severity of liver injury and fibrosis in a chronic recombinant cccDNA(rcccDNA)mouse model, which is a proven suitable research platform for HBV-induced fibrosis.Mechanistically,STING-activated autophagic flux could suppress macrophage inflammasome activation, leading to the amelioration of liver injury and HBV-induced fibrosis.Overall, the activation of STING signaling could inhibit HBV replication through epigenetic suppression of cccDNA and alleviate HBV-induced liver fibrosis through the suppression of macrophage inflammasome activation by activating autophagic flux in a chronic HBV mouse model. This study suggests that targeting the STING signaling pathway may be an important therapeutic strategy to protect against persistent HBV replication and HBV-induced fibrosis. | Yuqi Li Minjing He Ziyu Wang Zhiyun Duan Zhiwei Guo Ziteng Wang Ruijie Gong Tianhao Chu Jiabin Cai Bo Gao | 2022 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,1: | 7
Effect of cold rolling process on microstructure and mechanical properties of high strength β titanium alloy thin sheets显示文摘The microstructure and mechanical properties of Ti-3.5Al-5Mo-6V-3Cr-2Sn-0.5Fe high strength titanium alloy sheets prepared by unidirectional cold rolling and two-step cross cold rolling were investigated. Results showed that the β phase grains were refined significantly by cold rolling followed by solution treatment for a short time.Compared to unidirectional cold rolling, the short time solution treatment after two-step cross rolling could significantly reduce the non-uniformity of the microstructure of the alloy sheets. After aging treatment at 550 ℃,the anisotropy of the mechanical properties still existed in the unidirectional rolled sheets, and the tensile strength was highest along the rolling direction. After solution and aging treatment, the anisotropy of the mechanical properties of the two-step cross rolling process sheet was not obvious than unidirectional cold rolling, and alloy had good strength and plasticity matching. | Yan Ma Zhaoxin Du Xiaoming Cui Jun Cheng Guolong Liu Tianhao Gong Huimin Liu Xiaopeng Wang Yuyong Chen | 2018 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2018,28,6: | 6
Luminescent gold(Ⅲ)exciplexes enable efficient multicolor electroluminescence显示文摘The control of excited states and related emissive properties of gold(Ⅲ)complexes mainly depends on the modulation of intramolecular electronic interactions among gold(Ⅲ)metal center, chelating ligands and/or peripheral groups. However, luminescent gold(Ⅲ)systems based on intermolecular electronic interactions have never been explored. Here we report a series of proof-of-concept gold(Ⅲ)exciplexes using a simple gold(Ⅲ)complex,AuDPPy,as an electron acceptor. The emissive properties of gold(Ⅲ)exciplexes can be regulated by combining AuDPPy with different donors.Inspiringly, these gold(Ⅲ)exciplexes have donor-dependent emission mechanisms:dominant phosphorescence or dual radiative channels of thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)and phosphorescence.Consequently, these gold(Ⅲ)exciplexes deliver green-to-red electroluminescence with external quantum efficiencies(EQEs)of up to 10.1%.More importantly, using these gold(Ⅲ)exciplexes to host multi-resonance TADF emitters results in narrowband yellow, orange, and deep-red electroluminescence with high EQEs of 23.5%,24.4%,and 27.4%,respectively,competitive to the highest values for gold(Ⅲ)OLEDs in similar color gamut. | Lisi Zhan Tianhao Chen Cheng Zhong Xiaosong Cao Yuewei Zhang Yang Zou Zhengyang Bin Jingsong You Dongdong Zhang Lian Duan Chuluo Yang Shaolong Gong | 2023 | Science China Chemistry2023,66,11: | 0
Phonon-assisted upconversion in twisted two-dimensional semiconductors显示文摘Phonon-assisted photon upconversion(UPC)is an anti-Stokes process in which incident photons achieve higher energy emission by absorbing phonons. This letter studies phonon-assisted UPC in twisted 2D semiconductors,in which an inverted contrast between UPC and conventional photoluminescence(PL)of WSe2 twisted bilayer is emergent.A 4-fold UPC enhancement is achieved in 5.5°twisted bilayer while PL weakens by half.Reduced interlayer exciton conversion efficiency driven by lattice relaxation, along with enhanced pump efficiency resulting from spectral redshift, lead to the rotation-angle-dependent UPC enhancement. The counterintuitive phenomenon provides a novel insight into a unique way that twisted angle affects UPC and light-matter interactions in 2D semiconductors.Furthermore, the UPC enhancement platform with various superimposable means offers an effective method for lighting bilayers and expanding the application prospect of 2D stacked van der Waals devices. | Yuchen Dai Pengfei Qi Guangyi Tao Guangjie Yao Beibei Shi Zhixin Liul Zhengchang Liu Xiao He Pu Peng Zhibo Dang Liheng Zheng Tianhao Zhang Yongji Gong Yan Guan Kaihui Liu Zheyu Fang | 2023 | Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,1: | 0
A Strategy to Reduce the Peak Temperature of the Chip Working under Dynamic Power Using the Transient Cooling Effect of the Thin-Film Thermoelectric Cooler显示文摘The thin-film thermoelectric cooler(TEC)is a promising solid-state heat pump that can remove the high local heat flux of chips utilizing the Peltier effect. When an electric current pulse is applied to the thin-film TEC,the TEC can achieve an instantaneous lower temperature compared to that created by a steady current. In this paper,we developed a novel strategy to reduce the peak temperature of the chip working under dynamic power, thus making the semiconductor chip operate reliably and efficiently.A three-dimensional numerical model was built to study the transient cooling performance of the thin-film TEC on chips. The effects of parameters, such as the current pulse, the heat flux, the thermoelement length, the number of thermoelements, and the contact resistance on the performance of the thin-film TEC,were investigated. The results showed that when a current pulse of 0.6 A was applied to the thin-film TEC before the peak power of the chip, the peak temperature of the chip was reduced by more than 10℃,making the thin-film thermoelectric cooler a promising technology for the temperature control of modern chips with high peak powers. | WU Yongjia CHEN Sen GONG Tingrui SHI Tianhao ZUO Lei YAN Yonggao FANG Yueping MING Tingzhen | 2022 | Journal of Thermal Science2022,31,4: | 0
