| 1 | CFD-DEM study of effect of bed thickness for bubbling fluidized beds显示文摘The effect of bed thickness in rectangular fluidized beds is investigated through the CFD-DEM simula- tions of small-scale systems. Numerical results are compared for bubbling fluidized beds of various bed thicknesses with respect to particle packing, bed expansion, bubble behavior, solids velocities, and particle kinetic energy. Good two-dimensional (2D) flow behavior is observed in the bed having a thickness of up to 20 particle diameters. However, a strong three-dimensional (3D) flow behavior is observed in beds with a thickness of 40 particle diameters, indicating the transition from 2D flow to 3D flow within the range of 20-40 particle diameters. Comparison of velocity profiles near the walls and at the center of the bed shows significant impact of the front and back walls on the flow hydrodynamics of pseudo-2D fluidized beds. | 2 | Adaptive event-triggered control for a class of nonlinear systems with periodic disturbances显示文摘This paper investigates the adaptive event-triggered control problem for a class of nonlinear systems subject to periodic disturbances. To reduce the communication burden, a reliable relative threshold strategy is proposed. Fourier series expansion and radial basis function neural network are combined into a function approximator to model suitable time-varying disturbed function of known periods in strict-feedback systems. By combining the Lyapunov stability theory and the backstepping technique, the proposed adaptive control approach ensures that all the signals in the closed-loop system are bounded, and the tracking error can be regulated to a compact set around zero in finite time. | 4 | A Joint Learning Framework for the CCKS-2020 Financial Event Extraction Task显示文摘This paper presents a winning solution for the CCKS-2020 financial event extraction task, where the goal is to identify event types, triggers and arguments in sentences across multiple event types. In this task, we focus on resolving two challenging problems(i.e., low resources and element overlapping) by proposing a joint learning framework, named SaltyFishes. We first formulate the event extraction task as a joint probability model. By sharing parameters in the model across different types, we can learn to adapt to low-resource events based on high-resource events. We further address the element overlapping problems by a mechanism of Conditional Layer Normalization, achieving even better extraction accuracy. | 6 | Engineering practice and economic analysis of ozone oxidation wet denitrification technology显示文摘SO_(2)and NO emitted from coal-fired power plants have caused serious air pollution in China.In this study,a test system for NO oxidation using O_(3)is established.The basic characteristics of NO oxidation and products forms are studied.A separate test system for the combined removal of SO_(2)and NO_(x)is also established,and the absorption characteristics of NO_(x)are studied.The characteristics of NO oxidation and NO_(x)absorption were verified in a 35 t·h^(-1)industrial boiler wet combined desulfurization and denitrification project.The operating economy of ozone oxidation wet denitrification technology is analyzed.The results show that O_(3)has a high rate and strong selectivity for NO oxidation.When O_(3)is insufficient,the primary oxidation product is NO_(2).When O_(3)is present in excess,NO_(2)continues to get oxidized to N_(2)O_(5)or NO_(3).The removal efficiency of NO_(2)in alkaline absorption system is low(only about 15%).NOx removal efficiency can be improved by oxidizing NO_(x)to N_(2)O_(5)or NO_(3)by increasing ozone ratio.When the molar ratio of O_(3)/NO is 1.77,the NOx removal efficiency reaches 90.3%,while the operating cost of removing NO_(x)per kilogram is 6.06 USD(NO_(2)). | Yang Li Defu Che Chenglong Yang Mingyu Yao Tingwen Zhao Kangli Fu Hanchen Zhao | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1: | 3 |

By using the associated characteristic model, center manifold theorem and the normal form method, it is shown that the model not only undergoes codimension one(flip, Neimark-Sacker) bifurcation, but also undergoes cusp and resonance bifurcation(1:1 and 1:2) of codimension two. Further, it is found that the parity of delay has some effect on bifurcation behaviors. | 14 | A mitochondria-targeted fluorescent probe for ratiometric detection of hypochlorite in living cells显示文摘Hypochlorous acid(HOCl) plays a vital role in many physiological and pathological processes as one of reactive oxygen species(ROS). Developing highly sensitive and selective methods for HOCl detection is of significant interest. In this work, we developed a benzothiazole based probe 1 for ratiometric fluorescence detection of hypochlorite in living cells. The probe can detect HOCl with high selectivity, fast response(within 30 s) as well as low detection limit(0.18 mmol/L). Fluorescence co-localization studies demonstrated that probe 1 was a mitochondria-targeted fluorescent probe. Furthermore, confocal fluorescence images of He La cell indicated that probe 1 could be used for monitoring intracellular HOCl in living cells.
