12用活度系数模型和PCOR状态方程预测聚合物溶液中的亨利常数(英文)显示文摘In this paper,the polymer chain of rotator(PCOR) equation of state(EOS) was used together with an EOS/G^E mixing rule(MHV1) and the Wilson's equation as an excess-Gibbs-energy model in the proposed approach to extend the capability and improve the accuracy of the PCOR EOS for predicting the Henry's constant of solutions containing polymers.The results of the proposed method compared with two equation of state(van der Waals and GC-Flory) and three activity coefficient models(UNIFAC,UNIFAC-FV and Entropic-FV) indicated that the PCOR EOS/Wilson's equation provided more accurate results.The interaction parameters of Wilson's equation were fitted with Henry's constant experimental data and the property parameters of PCOR,a and b,were fitted with experimental volume data(Tait equation).As a result,the present work provided a simple and useful model for prediction of Henry's constant for polymer solutions.Somayeh Tourani Alireza Behvandi Farhad Khorasheh 2015Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2015,23,3:1

14Sentinel-1 In SAR observations and time-series analysis of co-and postseismic deformation mechanisms of the 2021 Mw 5.8 Bandar Ganaveh Earthquake,Southern Iran显示文摘In the past two decades,because of the significant increase in the availability of differential interferometry from synthetic aperture radar and GPS data,spaceborne geodesy has been widely employed to determine the co-seismic displacement field of earthquakes.On April 18,2021,a moderate earthquake(Mw 5.8)occurred east of Bandar Ganaveh,southern Iran,followed by intensive seismic activity and aftershocks of various magnitudes.We use two-pass D-InSAR and Small Baseline Inversion techniques via the LiCSBAS suite to study the coseismic displacement and monitor the four-month post-seismic deformation of the Bandar Ganaveh earthquake,as well as constrain the fault geometry of the co-seismic faulting mechanism during the seismic sequence.Analyses show that the co-and postseismic deformation are distributed in relatively shallow depths along with an NW-SE striking and NE dipping complex reverse/thrust fault branches of the Zagros Mountain Front Fault,complying with the main trend of the Zagros structures.The average cumulative displacements were obtained from-137.5 to+113.3 mm/yr in the SW and NE blocks of the Mountain Front Fault,respectively.The received maximum uplift amount is approximately consistent with the overall orogen-normal shortening component of the Arabian-Eurasian convergence in the Zagros region.No surface ruptures were associated with the seismic source;therefore,we propose a shallow blind thrust/reverse fault(depth~10 km)connected to the deeper basal decollement fault within a complex tectonic zone,emphasizing the thin-skinned tectonics.Reza SABER Veysel ISIK Ayse CAGLAYAN Marjan TOURANI 2023Journal of Mountain Science2023,20,4:0
15Unclonable human-invisible machine vision markers leveraging the omnidirectional chiral Bragg diffraction of cholesteric spherical reflectors显示文摘The seemingly simple step of molding a cholesteric liquid crystal into spherical shape,yielding a Cholesteric Spherical Reflector(CSR),has profound optical consequences that open a range of opportunities for potentially transformative technologies.The chiral Bragg diffraction resulting from the helical self-assembly of cholesterics becomes omnidirectional in CSRs.This turns them into selective retroreflectors that are exceptionally easy to distinguish-regardless of background--by simple and low-cost machine vision,while at the same time they can be made largely imperceptible to human vision.This allows them to be distributed in human-populated environments,laid out in the form of QR-code-like markers that help robots and Augmented Reality(AR)devices to operate reliably,and to identify items in their surroundings.At the scale of individual CSRs,unpredictable features within each marker turn them into Physical Unclonable Functions(PUFs),of great value for secure authentication.Via the machines reading them,CSR markers can thus act as trustworthy yet unobtrusive links between the physical world(buildings,vehicles,packaging...).and its digital twin computer representation.This opens opportunities to address pressing challenges in logistics and supply chain management,recycling and the circular economy,sustainable construction of the built environment,and many other fields of individual,societal and commercial importance.Hakam Agha Yong Geng Xu Ma Deniz IsInsu Avsar Rijeesh Kizhakidathazhath Yan-Song Zhang Ali Tourani Hriday Bavle Jose-Luis Sanchez-Lopez Holger Voos Mathew Schwartzo Jan P.F.Lagerwall 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,11:0
