| 1 | Type 3 innate lymphoid cell-derived lymphotoxin prevents microbiota-dependent inflammation显示文摘Splenomegaly is a well-known phenomenon typically associated with inflammation.However,the underlying cause of this phenotype has not been well characterized.Furthermore,the splenomegaly phenotype seen in lymphotoxin(LT)signaling-deficient mice is characterized by increased numbers of splenocytes and splenic neutrophils.Splenomegaly,as well as the related phenotype of increased lymphocyte counts in non-lymphoid tissues,is thought to result from the absence of secondary lymphoid tissues in LT-deficient mice.We now present evidence that mice deficient in LTα1β2 or LTβR develop splenomegaly and increased numbers of lymphocytes in non-lymphoid tissues in a microbiota-dependent manner.Antibiotic administration to LTα1β2-or LTβR-deficient mice reduces splenomegaly.Furthermore,re-derived germ-free Ltbr−/−mice do not exhibit splenomegaly or increased inflammation in non-lymphoid tissues compared to specific pathogen-free Ltbr−/−mice.By using various LTβ-and LTβR-conditional knockout mice,we demonstrate that retinoic acid-related orphan receptorγT-positive type 3 innate lymphoid cells provide the required active LT signaling to prevent the development of splenomegaly.Thus,this study demonstrates the importance of LT-mediated immune responses for the prevention of splenomegaly and systemic inflammation induced by microbiota. | Yuan Zhang Tae-Jin Kim Joanna A Wroblewska Vera Tesic Vaibhav Upadhyay Ralph R Weichselbaum Alexei V Tumanov Hong Tang Xiaohuan Guo Haidong Tang Yang-Xin Fu | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018，15，7： | 3 |
| 2 | Color Doppler sonography and angioscintigraphy in hepatic Hodgkin's lymphoma显示文摘AIM:To estimate the characteristics of Color Doppler findings and the results of hepatic radionuclide angiography (HRA) in secondary Hodgkin's hepatic lymphoma.METHODS:The research included patients with a diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma with metastatic focal lesions in the liver and controls.Morphologic characteristics of focal liver lesions and hemodynamic parameters were examined by pulsed and Color Doppler in the portal,hepatic and splenic veins were examined.Hepatic perfusion index (HPI) estimated by HRA was calculated.RESULTS:In the majority of patients,hepatomegaly was observed.Lesions were mostly hypoechoic and mixed,solitary or multiple.Some of the patients presented with dilated splenic veins and hepatofugal blood flow.A pulse wave was registered in the centre and at the margins of lymphoma.The average velocity of the pulse wave was higher at the margins (P>0.05).A continuous venous wave was found only at the margins of lymphoma.There was no linear correlation between lymphoma size and velocity of pulse and continuous wave (r=390,P<0.01).HPI was significantly lower in patients with lymphomas than in controls (P<0.05),pointing out increased arterial perfusion in comparison to portal perfusion.CONCLUSION:Color Doppler ultrasonography is a sensitive method for the detection of neovascularization in Hodgkin's hepatic lymphoma and estimation of its intensity.Hepatic radionuclide angiography can additionally help in the assesment of vascularisation of liver lesions. | Mirjana V Stojkovi Vera M Artiko Irena B Radoman Slavko J Knezevi Snezana M Luki Mirko D Kerkez Nebojsa S Leki Andrija A Anti Marinko M Zuvela Vitomir I Rankovi Milorad N Petrovi Dragana P obi Vladimir B Obradovi | 2009 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2009，15，26： | 2 |
| 3 | Model acupuncture point:Bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells are moved by a weak electromagnetic field显示文摘AIM To show the existence of a structural formative role of magnetic fields(MFs) with respect to biological objects by using our proposed model of an acupoint.METHODS We introduced a magnetised 10-100 μT metal rod(needle) into culture dishes with a negatively charged working surface and observed during 24 h how cells were arranged by MFs and by electrical fields(EFs) when attached. Rat and human bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells(r BMSCs and h BMSCs), human nonadherent mononuclear blood cells, NCTCs and A172 cells, and Escherichia coli(E. coli) were evaluated. The dish containing BMSCs was defined as the model of an acupoint. r BMSCs proliferative activity affected by the needle was investigated. For investigating electromagnetic field structures, we used the gas discharge visualisation(GDV) method.RESULTS During 24 h of incubation in 50-mm culture dishes, BMSCs or the nonadherent cells accumulated into a central heap in each dish. BMSCs formed a torus(central ring) with an inner diameter of approximately10 mm only upon the introduction of the needle in the centre of the dish. The cells did not show these effects in 35- or 90-mm culture dishes or hydrophobic dishes or rectangular cuvettes. NCTCs and A172 cells showed unstable the effects and only up to two weeks after thawing. Moreover, we observed that the appearance of these effects depended on the season. In winter, BMSCs showed no the effects. GDV experiments revealed that the resonant annular illumination gradually formed from 10 to 18-20 s in polar solutions with and without cell suspension of BMSCs, NCTCs and E. coli when using circular 50-mm dishes, stimulation at 115 V and switching of the electrode poles at 1 kH z. All these data demonstrate the resonant nature of the central ring.
