| 2 | Automatic Detection of COVID-19 Infection Using Chest X-Ray Images Through Transfer Learning显示文摘The new coronavirus(COVID-19),declared by the World Health Organization as a pandemic,has infected more than 1 million people and killed more than 50 thousand.An infection caused by COVID-19 can develop into pneumonia,which can be detected by a chest X-ray exam and should be treated appropriately.In this work,we propose an automatic detection method for COVID-19 infection based on chest X-ray images.The datasets constructed for this study are composed of194 X-ray images of patients diagnosed with coronavirus and 194 X-ray images of healthy patients.Since few images of patients with COVID-19 are publicly available,we apply the concept of transfer learning for this task.We use different architectures of convolutional neural networks(CNNs)trained on Image Net,and adapt them to behave as feature extractors for the X-ray images.Then,the CNNs are combined with consolidated machine learning methods,such as k-Nearest Neighbor,Bayes,Random Forest,multilayer perceptron(MLP),and support vector machine(SVM).The results show that,for one of the datasets,the extractor-classifier pair with the best performance is the Mobile Net architecture with the SVM classifier using a linear kernel,which achieves an accuracy and an F1-score of 98.5%.For the other dataset,the best pair is Dense Net201 with MLP,achieving an accuracy and an F1-score of 95.6%.Thus,the proposed approach demonstrates efficiency in detecting COVID-19 in X-ray images. | Elene Firmeza Ohata Gabriel Maia Bezerra João Victor Souza das Chagas Aloísio Vieira Lira Neto Adriano Bessa Albuquerque Victor Hugo Cde Albuquerque Pedro Pedrosa Rebouças Filho | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021，8，1： | 3 |
| 3 | Multimodality functional imaging using DW-MRI and 18F-FDG-PET/CT during radiation therapy for human papillomavirus negative head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: Meixoeiro Hospital of Vigo Experience显示文摘AIM To noninvasively investigate tumor cellularity measured using diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(DW-MRI) and glucose metabolism measured by 18 Flabeled fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography(18F-FDG-PET/CT) during radiation therapy(RT) for human papillomavirus negative(HPV-) head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC).METHODS In this prospective study, 6 HPV- HNSCC patients underwent a total of 34 multimodality imaging examinations(DW-MRI at 1.5 T Philips MRI scanner [(n = 24) pre-, during-(2-3 wk), and post-treatment(Tx), and 18F-FDG PET/CT pre- and post-Tx(n = 10)]. All patients received RT. Monoexponential modeling of the DW-MRI data yielded the imaging metric apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) and the mean of standardized uptake value(SUV) was measured from 18F-FDG PET uptake. All patients had a clinical follow-up as the standard of care and survival status was documented at 1 year.RESULTS There was a strong negative correlation between the mean of pretreatment ADC(ρ =-0.67, P = 0.01) and the pretreatment 18F-FDG PET SUV. The percentage(%) change in delta(?) | 4 | 4号染色体短臂微卫星多态性与鼻咽癌相关性的研究显示文摘鼻咽癌(NPC)是一种多因素复杂疾病。其发病过程涉及EB病毒慢性感染、环境致癌因素及宿主基因之间的相互作用。在这一过程中,那些宿主基因在EB病毒感染及鼻咽癌的发生发展中起了关键作用仍不清楚。本研究的目的是发现与鼻咽癌发生发展中两个关键步骤相关的遗传变异,即EB病毒持续性感染鼻咽部上皮细胞和鼻咽癌的形成。我们在广西梧州市及苍梧县鼻咽癌高发区收集汉族鼻咽癌患者350例、EB病毒壳抗原IgA抗体阳性者(IgA/VCA+)288例和EB病毒壳抗原IgA抗体阴性者(IgA/VCA—)346例。对先前鼻咽癌家系研究显示的鼻咽癌易感区4号染色体短臂(4p15.1~q12)进行了微卫星精细扫描,在18Mb的范围内选择34个微卫星标记,包括319个等位基因,对其进行基因分型。比较分析NPC组和IgA/VCA+组等位基因频率结果显示,9个等位基因与鼻咽癌呈相关,其中5个为易感等位基因(OR=1.51~5.36,P=0.01~0.03),4个为限制性等位基因(OR值为0.3~0.71,P值为0.02~0.045)。比较分析IgA/VCA+组和IgA/VCA-组及比较所有IgA/VCA+者(包括NPC患者)和IgA/VCA-者等位基因频率的结果显示,12个等位基因与EB病毒壳抗原IgA抗体持续存在相关,其中3个在两组比较中均呈显著相关。等位基因D4S3241~136(P=0.004,OR=1.9,95%CI=1.2~3.0)和D4S3347-213(P=0.001,OR=1.6,95%CI=1.2~2.1)可增加EB病毒IgA/VCA抗体形成的危险,为易感基因;而等位基因D4S174.202(P=0.001,OR=0.5,95%CI=0.3~0.7)可限制IgA/VCA抗体的形成。但上述结果经多因素比较校正后,均失去相关性。结果不能确定该区域与非家族性鼻咽癌的形成相关,但本研究却提供了进一步发现鼻咽癌相关基因的研究模式。有关4号染色体短臂与EB病毒慢性持续感染及鼻咽癌的形成仍值得进一步深入研究。 | 郭秀婵 O’BRIEN Stephen J WINKLER Cheryl SCOTT Kevin HUTCHESON Holli DAVID Victor KESSING Bailey 郑裕明 廖建 刘彦 GUY de The 曾毅 | 2006 | 遗传2006，28，7： | 2 |
| 5 | Conservative management of perforated duodenal diverticulum: A case report and review of the literature显示文摘Duodenal diverticula are a relatively common condition. They are asymptomatic, unless they become complicated, with perforation being the rarest but most severe complication. Surgical treatment is the most frequently performed approach. We report the case of a patient with a perforated duodenal diverticulum, which was diagnosed early and treated conservatively with antibiotics and percutaneous drainage of secondary retroperitoneal abscesses.
