Well-ordered layered LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 submicron sphere with fast electrochemical kinetics for cathodic lithium storage显示文摘Nickel-rich layered oxides have drawn sustainable attentions for lithium ion batteries owing to their higher theoretical capacities and lower cost.However,nickel-rich layered oxides also have exposed several defects for commercial application, such as uncontrollable ordered layered structure, which leads to higher energy barrier for Li+diffusion. In addition, suffering from structural mutability, the bulk nickelrich cathode materials likely trigger overall volumetric variation and intergranular cracks, thus obstructing the lithium ion diffusion path and shortening the service life of the whole device.Herein,we report wellordered layered Li Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 submicron spheroidal particles via an optimized co-precipitation and investigated as LIBs cathodes for high-performance lithium storage. The as-fabricated Li Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 delivers high initial capacity of 228 mAh g–1,remarkable energy density of 866 Wh kg–1,rapid Li ion diffusion coefficient(10–9cm2s–1)and low voltage decay. The remarkable electrochemical performance should be ascribed to the well-ordered layered structure and uniform submicron spheroidal particles, which enhance the structural stability and ameliorate strain relaxation via reducing the parcel size and shortening Li-ion diffusion distance. This work anticipatorily provides an inspiration to better design particle morphology for structural stability and rate capability in electrochemistry energy storage devices. | Jianing Liang Yun Lu Jie Wang Xupo Liu Ke Chen Weihao Ji Ye Zhu Deli Wang | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,8: | 8
Microstructure and shear strength of the brazed joint of Ti(C,N)-based cermet to steel显示文摘Firm joins were obtained between Ti(C,N)-based cermet and steel with Ag-Cu-Zn-Ni filler metal by vacuum brazing. The effects of technological parameters such as brazing temperature, holding time, and filler thickness on the shear strength of the joints were investigated. The microstructure of welded area and the reaction products of the filler metal were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), metallographic microscope (OM), energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (EDS), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The brazing temperature of 870°C, holding time of 15 min, and filler thickness of 0.4 mm are a set of optimum technological parameters, under which the maximum shear strength of the joints, 176.5 MPa, is achieved. The results of microstructure show that the wettability of the filler metal on Ti(C,N)-based cermet and steel is well. A mutual solution layer and a diffusion layer exist between the welding base materials and the filler metal. | YE Dameng, XIONG Weihao, Zhang Xiuhai, QU Jun, and YAO Zhenghua State Key Laboratory of Plastic Forming Simulation and Die & Mould Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan 430074, China | 2010 | Rare Metals2010,29,1: | 7
Microstructure and cutting performance of Ti(C, N)-based cermets heat-treated in nitrogen显示文摘Ti(C, N)-based cermets were treated using hot isostatic pressing (HIP) at 1423 K in nitrogen. The microstructures compared with the as-sintered cermets were investigated using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmis- sion electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray analysis, and electron microprobe analysis. It was found that high nitro- gen activity in the surface zone resulted in the formation of gradient structure. Approximately 20-μm-deep, nitrogen-rich and titanium-rich hard surface zone was introduced by the heat treatment. The nitrogen activity was the driving force that caused the transportation of the atoms through the binder, titanium towards the surface, and tungsten and molybdenum in- wards. In the surface zone, the particle size became fine, the inner rim disappeared, and the volume fraction of the outer rim and the binder phase considerably reduced. Small grains of TiN, WC, Mo2C, and nitrogen-rich carbonitride phases formed in the surface zone during the heat treatment, improving the tribological property of the heat-treated cermet. | LIU Wenjun XIONG Weihao ZHENG Yong SHI Zengmin YE Jiajian | 2007 | Rare Metals2007,26,4: | 4
Air pollution and inhalation exposure to particulate matter of different sizes in rural households using improved stoves in central China显示文摘Household air pollution is considered to be among the top environmental risks in China. To examine the performance of improved stoves for reduction of indoor particulate matter(PM) emission and exposure in rural households, individual inhalation exposure to size-resolved PM was investigated using personal portable samplers carried by residents using wood gasifier stoves or improved coal stoves in a rural county in Central China.Concentrations of PM with different sizes in stationary indoor and outdoor air were also monitored at paired sites. The stationary concentrations of size-resolved PM in indoor air were greater than those in outdoor air, especially finer particles PM0.25. The daily averaged exposure concentrations of PM0.25, PM1.0, PM2.5 and total suspended particle for all the surveyed residents were 74.4 ± 41.1, 159.3 ± 74.3, 176.7 ± 78.1 and 217.9 ± 78.1 μg/m3,respectively. Even using the improved stoves, the individual exposure to indoor PM far exceeded the air quality guideline by WHO at 25 μg/m3. Submicron particles PM1.0 were the dominant PM fraction for personal exposure and indoor and outdoor air. Personal exposure exhibited a closer correlation with indoor PM concentrations than that for outdoor concentrations. Both inhalation exposure and indoor air PM concentrations in the rural households with gasifier firewood stoves were evidently lower than the reported results using traditional firewood stoves. However, local governments in the studied rural areas should exercise caution when widely and hastily promoting gasifier firewood stoves in place of improved coal stoves, due to the higher PM levels in indoor and outdoor air and personal inhaled exposure. | Weijian Liu Guofeng Shen Yuanchen Chen Huizhong Shen Ye Huang Tongchao Li Yilong Wang Xiaofang Fu Shu Tao Wenxin Liu Yibo Huang-Fu Weihao Zhang Chunyu Xue Guangqing Liu Fuyong Wu Minghung Wong | 2018 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,1: | 4
Preparation and characterization of NaYF_4:Er^(3+),Tm^(3+)@NaYF_4:Ce^(3+),Tb^(3+) microcrystals with dual-mode emissions at the single-particle level显示文摘Under hydrothermal environment,we synthesized lanthanide ions doped sodium yttrium fluoride(NaYF4:Er,Tm@NaYF4:Ce,Tb) luminescent microcrystals via an epitaxial growth technique. The structure and morphology of these microcrystals were examined by SEM,TEM,EDS and XRD measurements. These particles show dual-mode emissions with red upconversion(UC) and green down conversion(DC) as single particles level. The mean length and diameter of these microparticles increase from 0.43 to2.26 μm and from 1.33 to 1.86 μm,respectively. Most interestingly, the photoluminescence properties of NaYF4:Er,Tm@NaYF4:Ce,Tb phosphor crystals are highly dependent on the crystallite size. The microcrystals fluoresce emit dual-mode emissions when they are solid or dispersed in solvents.Benefiting its intensive fluorescence and uniform morphology, these materials hold great potential for security and anti-counterfeiting applications. | Xianfu Jiao Weihao Ye Qiying Huang Jie Luo Linliang Yu Xiaotang Liu | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,7: | 3
Luminescence enhancement of CaMoO_(4):Eu^(3+) phosphor by charge compensation using microwave sintering method显示文摘CaMoO_(4):Eu^(3+)and CaMoO_(4):Eu^(3+),A+(A=Li,Na,K)phosphors for light-emitting diode(LED)applications have been prepared by microwave sintering method(MSM),and their structure and luminescence properties are investigated. The influences of microwave reaction time and concentration of different kinds of charge compensation A+and Eu^(3+)on luminescence have also been discussed. The samples emit a red luminescence at 615 nm attributed to the^(5)D0→^(7)F2 transition of Eu^(3+)under 464 nm excitation. It is observed that adding charge compensation A+in the sample synthesis increases luminescence intensity. The optimized sample made with 32 mol%Li+and 32 mol%Eu^(3+)has an enhancement factor of 4 in photoluminescence compared to the sample made without charge compensation. The CIE(Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage)coordinates of Ca0.36MoO_(4):0.32Eu^(3+),0.32Li+are x=0.661 and y=0.339,which indicate that the obtained phosphor can be a promising red color candidate for white LED fabrications. | Zhiping ZHOU Yingsen YU Xiaotang LIU Weihao YE Guangqi HU Bingfu LEI Yun YAN | 2015 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2015,4,4: | 2

Research of warm compaction technology on nylon bonded Nd-Fe-B magnets显示文摘Warm compaction and room temperature compaction were applied to prepare bonded Nd-Fe-B magnets. The results indicated that the density of magnet was determined by the compaction pressure and warm compaction temperature, whereas, the thermosetting temperature could hardly affect the density of magnet. The mechanical properties of magnets were the best when the thermosetting temperature was 200 ℃. The Br, Hcb, and (BH)max of warm compaction magnet were higher than those of room compaction. When the warm compaction temperature and thermosetting temperature were invariable, the density of magnet increased with the increase of compaction pressure, which resulted in the increase of Br, Hcb, and (BH)max of magnet and the decrease of Hcj of magnet. When the warm compaction temperature and compaction pressure were invariable, the magnetic properties of magnets decreased with the increase of thermosetting temperature. The magnetic properties of warm compaction molding magnets were better than those of injection molding magnets. | Xiuhai ZHANG Weihao XIONG Dameng YE Jun QU Zhenhua YAO | 2009 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2009,22,3: | 1
AHP-based System for the Health Assessment of Ancient and Famous Trees in Dongguan显示文摘By establishing an AHP-based assessment index system and assessment model, and applying detection technology that is convenient and harmless for ancient and famous trees, this paper is significant for investigating and assessing the health state of ancient and famous trees, and protecting the limited resources. Fourteen indexes such as growth vigor, disease and pest were selected from the perspectives of overall situation, canopy, trunk and root, and AHP(applied analytic hierarchy process) was applied to define weights of these indexes. According to the results, top 3 indexes in terms of weight are tree vigor, treetop death, internal decay and hole, while the indexes with lower weight are parasitism, root damage, ventilation and permeability. On the basis of assessment model and method as well as field investigation, health grade of ancient and famous trees(A) can be obtained. By grading the health of ancient and famous trees into 3 levels, each level indicates a certain health state,so managers can take corresponding maintenance measures to develop the best ecological and social value of these trees. | SU Chunlan HU Qiuyan YE Yongchang LI Weihao LIU Songsong | 2017 | Journal of Landscape Research2017,9,1: | 0
CmWRKY6-1-CmWRKY15-like transcriptional cascade negatively regulates the resistance to fusarium oxysporum infection in Chrysanthemum morifolium显示文摘Chrysanthemum Fusarium wilt is a soil-borne disease that causes serious economic losses to the chrysanthemum industry. However, the molecular mechanism underlying the response of chrysanthemum WRKY to Fusarium oxysporum infection remains largely unknown. In this study,we isolated CmWRKY6–1 from chrysanthemum‘Jinba’and identified it as a transcriptional repressor localized in the nucleus via subcellular localization and transcriptional activation assays. We found that CmWRKY6–1 negatively regulated resistance to F.oxysporum and affected reactive oxygen species(ROS)and salicylic acid(SA)pathways using transgenic experiments and transcriptomic analysis.Moreover,CmWRKY6–1 bound to the W-box element on the CmWRKY15-like promoter and inhibited its expression.Additionally,we observed that CmWRKY15-like silencing in chrysanthemum reduced its resistance to F.oxysporum via transgenic experiments. In conclusion,we revealed the mechanism underlying the CmWRKY6–1–CmWRKY15-like cascade response to F.oxysporum infection in chrysanthemum and demonstrated that CmWRKY6–1 and CmWRKY15-like regulates the immune system. | Weihao Miao Xiangyu Xiao Yuean Wang Lijiao Ge Yanrong Yang Ye Liu Yuan Liao Zhiyong Guan Sumei Chen Weimin Fang Fadi Chen Shuang Zhao | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,7: | 0
