| 1 | Magnéli phases TinO2n-1 as novel ozonation catalysts for effective mineralization of phenol显示文摘Magnéli phases Ti_nO_(2n-1)have been demonstrated as promising environmentally friendly materials in advanced oxidation processes.In this study,Magnéli phases Ti_nO_(2n-1)have been used as catalysts for the ozonation of phenol in aqueous solution for the first time.The materials exhibited excellent catalytic ozonation activities both in phenol degradation and mineralization.When Ti_4O_7was added,the reaction rate was six-fold higher than that of with ozone alone,while the total organic carbon removal rate was substantially elevated from around 19.2%to 92%.By virtue of the good chemical stability of the materials,a low metal leaching of less than 0.15 mg·L^(-1)could effectively avoid the secondary pollution by metal ions.Radical quenching tests revealed·O_2^-and^1O_2to be active oxygen species for phenol degradation at p H 5.As semiconductor catalysts,Ti_nO_(2n-1)materials show electronic transfer capability.Ozone adsorbed at B-acid sites of the catalyst surface can capture an electron from the conversion of Ti(III)to Ti(IV),and is thereby broken into the active oxygen species.It was interesting to observe that Ti_nO_(2n-1)exhibit better catalytic activity for phenol degradation and mineralization with lower n value.The difference in electrical conductivity can be considered as a major factor for the catalytic performances.More highly conductive catalysts show a faster electron-transfer rate and better catalytic activity.Thus,significant evidences have been obtained for a single-electron-transfer mechanism of catalytic ozonation with Magnéli phases Ti_nO_(2n-1). | Xian Mao Fanglu Yuan Anqi Zhou Wenheng Jing | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,9: | 2 |

| 3 | Interlayer-confined two-dimensional manganese oxide-carbon nanotube catalytic ozonation membrane for efficient water purification显示文摘Catalytic ozonation technology has attracted copious attention in water purification owing to its favorable oxidative degradation of pollutants and mitigation of membrane fouling capacity.However,its extensive industrial application has been restricted by the low ozone utilization and limited mass transfer of the short-lived radical species.Interlayer space-confined catalysis has been theoretically proven to be a viable strategy for achieving high catalytic efficiency.Here,a two-dimensional MnO_(2)-incorporated ceramic membrane with tunable interspacing,which was obtained via the intercalation of a carbon nanotube,was designed as a catalytic ozonation membrane reactor for degrading methylene blue.Benefiting from the abundant catalytic active sites on the surface of two-dimensional MnO_(2) as well as the ultralow mass transfer resistance of fluids due to the nanolayer confinement,an excellent mineralization effect,i.e.,1.2 mg O_(3)(aq)mg^(-1) TOC removal(a total organic carbon removal rate of 71.5%),was achieved within a hydraulic retention time of 0.045 s of pollutant degradation.Further,the effects of hydraulic retention time and interlayer spacing on methylene blue removal were investigated.Moreover,the mechanism of the catalytic ozonation employing catalytic ozonation membrane was proposed based on the contribution of the Mn(III/IV)redox pair to electron transfer to generate the reactive oxygen species.This innovative twodimensional confinement catalytic ozonation membrane could act as a nanoreactor and separator to efficiently oxidize organic pollutants and enhance the control of membrane fouling during water purification. | Dean Xu Tong Ding Yuqing Sun Shilong Li Wenheng Jing | 2022 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2022,16,5: | 1 |

| 10 | Temperature-induced hydrophobicity transition of MXene membrane for directly preparing W/O emulsions显示文摘Although hydrophilic membranes are desired for reducing resistance to water permeation, hydrophilic surfaces are not used in the water-in-oil(W/O) membrane emulsification process because water spreads on the hydrophilic surface without forming droplets. Here, we report that a hydrophilic ceramic membrane can form a hydrophobic interface in diesel at a higher temperature;interestingly, the experiments show that the contact angle increases when the temperature rises. The hydrophilic membrane surface evolves into a hydrophobic interface, particularly near the boiling point of water, resulting in a water contact angle of 147.5° ± 1.2°. | 12 | Geochemical Characteristics of Granitoids in the Eastern Sector of the Northern Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang显示文摘The granitioids in question are located in the geosynclinal fold belt of the Northern Tianshan Mountains.The magmas are intruded into a Carboniferous marine volcanic-sedimentary rock series. forming a contempo-raneous. intermediate-basic to acid. composite intrusion. With a whole-rock Rb-Sr isochron age of 315.7 Ma. itis considered to be of middle Heicynian age. The granitoids have a SiO2 content of 48-78%, a calc-alkali indexof 60 and silica-alkali indices ρ=2.2-2.4 and σ=1.5-2. From basic to acid compositions, the total REE con-tent increases from 38 to 143 ppm. δEu ranges from 0.47 to 0.86 and the Eu anomalies are negative. Thenormalized curves of REE of various rock types are very similar. These coupled with the characteristics of traceelement geochemistry show that the intrusion is an island arc-continental margin, calc-alkaline one. Theδ18O values range from 5.8 to 8.9‰ and the 87Sr/86Sr initial ratio is 0.705. | 19 | Heat treatment effects on the metastable microstructure,mechanical property and corrosion behavior of Al-added CoCrFeMnNi alloys fabricated by laser powder bed fusion显示文摘With the development of aerospace and transportation,high-strength structural materials manufactured by additive manufacturing techniques get more attention,which allows the production of counterparts with complex structures.This work investigates Al-added CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloys(Al-HEAs)pre-pared by laser powder bed fusion(PBF-LB),adding 4.4 wt.%Al reducing approximately 7%density.The contribution of post-heat-treatment to microstructure,mechanical properties,and corrosion behaviors are explored.Hot cracking along with grain boundaries in the as-built PBF-LB Al-HEAs is determined,which comes from the residual liquid film as a larger solidification temperature range by adding Al.The PBF-LB Al-HEAs mainly consist of a face-centered cubic(FCC)matrix with Al/Ni/Mn decorated dislocation cells therein and a minor body-centered cubic(BCC)phase.Upon 850℃ annealing treatment,massive BCC phases(ordered NiAl and disordered Cr-rich precipitates)generate at the dislocation cell/grain bound-aries and the dislocation cells are still retained.However,the volume fraction of BCC phases and the dislocation cells vanish after 1150℃ solution treatment.As a result,Al-HEA850 shows an over 1000 MPa yield strength with nearly no ductility(<3%);the Al-HEA1150 exhibits considerable strength-ductility properties.Meanwhile,the Al-HEA850 demonstrates the worst pitting corrosion resistance due to the preferential dissolution of the NiAl precipitates in chloride-containing solutions.After comparatively de-liberating the evolution of strength-ductility and localized corrosion,we built a framework about the effects of the heat treatment on the mechanical property and degradation behavior in additively manu-factured Al-added high-strength HEAs. | Decheng Kong Li Wang Guoliang Zhu Yiqi Zhou Xiaoqing Ni Jia Song Liang Zhang Wenheng Wu Wei Wu Cheng Man Da Shu Baode Sun Chaofang Dong | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,7: | 0 |
