2Single-cell Immune Landscape of Human Recurrent Miscarriage显示文摘t Successful pregnancy in placental mammals substantially depends on the establishment of maternal immune tolerance to the semi-allogenic fetus.Disorders in this process are tightly associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes including recurrent miscarriage(RM).However,an indepth understanding of the systematic and decidual immune environment in RM remains largely lacking.In this study,we utilized single-cell RNA-sequencing(scRNA-seq)to comparably analyze the cellular and molecular signatures of decidual and peripheral leukocytes in normal and unexplained RM pregnancies at the early stage of gestation.Integrative analysis identifies 22 distinct cell clusters in total,and a dramatic difference in leukocyte subsets and molecular properties in RM cases is revealed.Specifically,the cytotoxic properties of CD8^(+)effector T cells,nature killer(NK),and mucosal-associated invariant T(MAIT)cells in peripheral blood indicates apparently enhanced pro-inflammatory status,and the population proportions and ligand–receptor interactions of the decidual leukocyte subsets demonstrate preferential immune activation in RM patients.The molecular features,spatial distribution,and the developmental trajectories of five decidual NK(dNK)subsets have been elaborately illustrated.In RM patients,a dNK subset that supports embryonic growth is diminished in proportion,while the ratio of another dNK subset with cyto toxic and immune-active signature is significantly increased.Notably,a unique pro-inflammatory CD56^(+)CD16^(+)dNK subset substantially accumulates in RM decidua.These findings reveal a comprehensive cellular and molecular atlas of decidual and peripheral leukocytes in human early pregnancy and provide an in-depth insight into the immune pathogenesis for early pregnancy loss.Feiyang Wang Wentong Jia Mengjie Fan Xuan Shao Zhilang Li Yongjie Liu Yeling Ma Yu-Xia Li Rong Li Qiang Tu Yan-Ling Wang 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,2:8
3Nitrogen doped hollow carbon nanospheres as efficient polysulfide restricted layer on commercial separators for high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘The polysulfide shuttle limits the development of lithium-sulfur(Li-S) batteries with high energy density and long lifespan. Herein, nitrogen doped hollow carbon nanospheres(NHCS) derived from polymerization of dopamine on SiO_(2)nanospheres are employed to modify the commercial polypropylene/polyethylene/polypropylene tri-layer separators(PP/PE/PP@NHCS). The abundant nitrogen heteroatoms in NHCS exhibit strong chemical adsorption toward polysulfides, which can effectively suppress the lithium polysulfides shuttle and further enhance the utilization of active sulfur. Lithium-sulfur batteries employing the PP/PE/PP@NHCS deliver an initial discharge capacity of 1355 mAh/g and retain high capacity of 921 mAh/g after 100 cycles at 0.2 C. At a high rate of 2 C, the lithium-sulfur batteries exhibit capacity of 461 mAh/g after 1000 cycles with a capacity fading rate of 0.049% per cycle. 4Neurons generated from carcinoma stem cells support cancerprogression显示文摘Recent evidences show that nervous system acts as a crucial part of cancer microenvironment.Infiltration of nerve fibers into cancer microenvironment has an important active role in cancer progression.The stimulations of both cancer growth and metastasis by members of nervous system such as neurons and glial cells have been demonstrated.However,how the nervous system is built in cancer is largely unknown.Here we show that a fraction of cancer stem cells(CSCs)derived from patients with gastric carcinoma and colorectal carcinoma are capable of producing neurons that are involved in tumor neurogenesis and tumor growth.Cancer stem cell monoclone derived from a single cancer stem cell was able to generate neurons including sympathetic and parasympathetic neurons to take part in the nervous system in cancer tissues.Knocking down the neural cell generating capability of the human CSCs inhibited the growth of xenograft tumors in mouse model.Our data demonstrate that human CSCs are able to produce one of most important components in the cancer microenvironment that are required for cancer development and progression.Ran Lu Chuanwen Fan Wenqi Shangguan Yuan Liu Yu Li Yanna Shang Dongqin Yin Shengliang Zhang Qiaorong Huang Xue Li Wentong Meng Hong Xu Zongguang Zhou Jiankun Hu Weimin Li Lunxu Liu Xianming Mo 2017Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2017,2,1:0

6Zirconium metal organic cages:From phosphate selective sensing to derivate forming显示文摘Luminescent metal organic cages(MOCs)have attracted great interest as a unique class of sensing substrates.In this work,intrinsically fluorescent Zr-MOCs were successfully used as fluorescent probes for the sensitive and selective detection of phosphate anions in water and real samples.When the ligand and Zr ion clusters form a cage,the intrinsic fluorescence of the ligand was tuned from high to weak emission due to the ligand-to-metal charge transfer(LMCT)effect,and this weakened fluorescence can be restored by the addition of phosphate.The degree of fluorescence enhancement is positively correlated with the added phosphate concentration,and the efficacy of this strategy is demonstrated by a linear phosphate detection range of 5–500µmol/L and a detection limit of 1.06µmol/L.We discuss the interaction between phosphate and Zr in scattering spectrum and MS,respectively.In comparison to phosphate adsorption on Zr-metal organic frameworks(MOFs),where phosphate connects different numbers of cages,both blocking the LMCT effect and causing the cages to aggregate.We also found that the phosphate displaces the ligand from the cage when the phosphate concentration is further expanded,resulting in the formation of new derivatives.This derivative was shown to be useful as a Lewis acid catalyst and as a rare earth ion adsorbent.Ziyuan Gao Jia Jia Wentong Fan Tong Liao Xingfeng Zhang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:0
