| 1 | 全国孕产妇死亡监测结果分析显示文摘对1989~1991年全国30省、自治区、直辖市247个监测点1.0亿人口范围内的孕产妇死亡监测资料进行分析。监测地区三年内活产总数4201457例,孕产妇死亡3274例,孕产妇监测死亡率平均为80.0/10万,调整后为87.8/10万。城市、农村、不同地区孕产妇死亡率的高低有明显差异,三年比较,城市、农村孕产妇死亡率呈下降趋势,农村更为明显。孕产妇死亡原因主要为产科出血、好高征、心脏病、产褥感染、羊水栓塞、肝病,产科出血主要原因为胎盘滞留、宫缩乏力。结果显示:可避免的死亡占89.0%,不可避免的死亡占11.0%。并对孕产妇死亡的有关问题进行讨论。 | .Zhang Ling-mei DingHui.(BeiJing Municipal Institute for Women HealthCare , 100006.) | 1994 | 中华妇产科杂志1994,29,9: | 199 |

| 3 | Structure and function of aggrecan显示文摘Aggrecan is the major proteoglycan in the articular cartilage. This molecule is important in the proper functioning of articular cartilage because it provides a hydrated gel structure (via its interaction with hyaluronan and link protein) that endows the cartilage with load-bearing properties. It is also crucial in chondroskeletal morphogenesis during development. Aggrecan is a multimodular molecule expressed by chondrocytes. Its core protein is composed of three globular domains (G1, G2, and G3) and a large extended region (CS) between G2 and G3 for glycosaminoglycan chain attachment. G1 comprises the amino terminus of the core protein. This domain has the same structural motif as link protein. Functionally, the G1 domain interacts with hyaluronan acid and link protein, forming stable ternary complexes in the extracellular matrix. G2 is homologous to the tandem repeats of G1 and of link protein and is involved in product processing. G3 makes up the carboxyl terminus of the core protein. It enhances glycosaminoglycan modification and product secretion. | 4 | Different sperm sources and parameters can influence intracytoplasmic sperm injection outcomes before embryo implantation显示文摘To evaluate the effects of sperm with different parameters and sources on the outcomes of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), 1972 ICSI cycles were analyzed retrospectively. Groups 1 to 5 were composed of cycles using ejaculated sperm and were grouped according to sperm quantity, quality, and morphology into normal (288 cycles), or mild (329 cycles), moderate (522 cycles), severe (332 cycles), and extremely severe (171 cycles) oligozoospermia and/or asthenozoospermia and/or teratozoospermia (OAT) groups. Group 6 was composed of 250 cycles using testicular or epididymal sperm, and Group 7 consisted of 80 cycles using frozen-thawed sperm. We found that fertilization rates were gradually reduced from Groups 1 to 6, and reached statistical difference in Groups 5 and 6 (P<0.05). The high-quality embryo rate was higher in Group 1 than in Groups 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 (P<0.05). No statistical differences were observed in the rates of embryo cleavage, clinical pregnancy, miscarriage, live-birth, premature birth, low birth weight, weeks of premature birth, average birth weight, or sex ratio for all seven groups (P>0.05). A total of nine cases of malformation were observed, with a malformation rate of 1.25% (9/719). In conclusion, different sperm sources and parameters can affect ICSI outcomes before embryo implantation. | 5 | Cloning of cytochrome P-450 2C9 cDNA from human liver and its expression in CHL cells显示文摘AIM: Using bacterial, yeast, or mammalian cell expressing a human drug metabolism enzyme would seem good way to study drug metabolism-related problems. Human cytochrome P-450 2C9 ( CYP2 C9) is a polymorphic enzyme responsible for the metabolism of a large number of clinically important drugs. It ranks among the most important drug metabolizing enzymes in humans. In order to provide a sufficient amount of the enzyme for drug metabolic research, the CYP2 C9 eDNA was cloned and expressed stably in CHL cellsMETHODS: After extraction of total RNA from human livertissue, the human CYP2C9 eDNA was amplified withreverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR),and cloned into cloning vector pGEM-T. The cDNA fragmentwas identified by DNA sequencing and subcloned into amammalian expression vector pREP9. A transgenic cell linewas established by transfecting the recombinant vector ofpREP9-CYP2C9 into CHL cells. The enzyme activity ofCYP2C9 catalyzing oxidation of tolbutamide to hydroxytolbutamide in S9 fraction of the cell was determined by highperformance liquid chromatography(HPLC).RESULTS: The amino acid sequence predicted from theeDNA segment was identical to that of CYP2 C9 * 1, the wildtype CYP2 C9. However, there were two base differences, i.e. 21T > C, 1146C > T, but the encoding amino acidsequence was the same, L7, P382. | 8 | Functional distinction of rat liver natural killer cells from spleen natural killer cells under normal and acidic conditions in vitro显示文摘BACKGROUND: The microenvironment within solid tumors has often been shown to exhibit an acidic extracellular pH. Although the morphologic and functional differences in natural killer (NK) cells of the liver and spleen have been reported previously under physiological conditions, the difference under acidic conditions is still unclear. This study was to investigate the differences in the morphological and functional characteristics between rat liver and spleen NK cells under normal and acidic conditions in vitro. METHODS: Liver and spleen NK cells were isolated and purified from Sprague-Dawley rats by density gradient centrifugation and the Dynabeads FlowComp TM Flexi system, and stimulated for 4 days with or without IL-2 or treated with low pH or control for different times. Morphology was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), cell death and proliferation assays were performed by flow cytometry, IFN-γ production was tested by ELISA, and cytotoxic activity was evaluated by lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release assay. RESULTS: Liver NK cells had significantly higher levels of cytotoxic activity than spleen NK cells under normal and acidic conditions, and the maximum difference was observed at pH 5.6. Further analysis revealed that the cytotoxic activity of NK cells was correlated with morphology, cell death, proliferative activity and IFN-γ production. By TEM, liver NK cells contained a greater number of electron-dense granules per cell at pH 5.6.Moreover, a modest elevation of cell death and reduction of proliferation of liver NK cells occurred within a range of 5.6-7.2. Interestingly, an acidic extracellular pH only marginally, and not significantly, suppressed IFN-γ production by liver NK cells. | 9 | Nonlinear dynamics of self-oscillating polymer gels显示文摘Self-oscillating polymer gels driven by Belousov-Zhabotinsky (BZ) chemical reaction are a new class of functional gels that have a wide range of potential applications (e.g., autonomously functioning membranes, actuate artificial muscles). However, the precise control of these gels has been an issue due to limited investigations of the influences of key system parameters on the characteristics of BZ gels. To address this deficiency, we studied the self-oscillating behavior of BZ gels using the nonline-ar dynamics theory and an Oregonator-like model, with focus placed upon the influences of various system parameters. The analysis of the oscillation phase indicated that the dynamic response of BZ gels represents the classical limit cycle oscillation. We then investigated the characteristics of the limit cycle oscillation and quantified the influences of key parameters (i.e., ini-tial reactant concentration, oxidation and reduction rate of catalyst, and response coefficient) on the self-oscillating behavior of BZ gels. The results demonstrated that sustained limit cycle oscillation of BZ gels can be achieved only when these key pa-rameters meet certain requirements, and that the pattern, period and amplitude of the oscillation are significantly influenced by these parameters. The results obtained in this study could enable the controlled self-oscillation of BZ gels system.
