1Z-scheme CdS/WO_(3)on a carbon cloth enabling effective hydrogen evolution显示文摘Photocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen(H2)generation is a potential strategy to solve the problem of energy crisis and environmental deterioration.However,powder-like photocatalysts are difficult to recycle,and the agglomeration of particles would affect the photocatalytic activity.Herein,a direct Z-scheme CdS/WO_(3)composite photocatalyst was fabricated based on carbon cloth through a two-step process.With the support of carbon cloth,photocatalysts tend to grow uniformly for further applications.The experimental results showed that the H2 yield of adding one piece of CdS/WO_(3)composite material was 17.28μmol/h,which was 5.5 times as compared to that of pure CdS-loaded carbon cloth material.A cycle experiment was conducted to verify the stability of the asprepared material and the result demonstrated that the H2 generation performance of CdS/WO_(3)decreased slightly after 3 cycles.This work provides new ideas for the development of recyclable photocatalysts and has a positive significance for practical applications.Zehong XU Qiaohong ZHU Xinguo XI Mingyang XING Jinlong ZHANG 2021Frontiers in Energy2021,15,3:2
2SiOx/C-Ag nanosheets derived from Zintl phase CaSi_(2) via a facile redox reaction for high performance lithium storage显示文摘As one of the high-capacity anodes in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),silicon oxide(SiOx)has attracted wide attention due to its high theoretical capacity,low cost,and proper working voltage.However,the huge volume change and the intrinsic poor conductivity of SiOx still hinder the practical applications.How to address the issues is the focus of current research.In this work,firstly,hydrogen passivated Si nanosheets(Si6H6)were prepared from Zintl phase CaSi2,then,two-dimensional Ag nanoparticle modified SiOVC nanocomposite was prepared via a facile complex redox reaction between SieH6 and AgN03-aniline complexing agent.In this design,aniline was served as carbon sources,and Si6H6could be transformed to SiOx by AgN03 in mild solution condition.The obtained Ag modified SiOVC(SiOx/C-Ag)electrode exhibited high specific capacity(550 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.6 A·g^(-1)),superior rate,and cycling performance when served as anode for LIBs.Jie Xie Lin Sun Yanxiu Liu Xinguo Xi Ruoyu Chen Zhong Jin 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:2
3Application of Modified Attapulgite Clay as the Adsorbent in Gasoline Desulfurization显示文摘Attapulgite clay is a kind of special silicate mineral with high adsorption capacity thanks to its loose structure and porous surface. In this paper, the attapulgite clay was treated effectively with acid under microwave thermal activation and ultrasonic vibration, respectively, and characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption, FT-IR and SEM. The desulfurization performance of the modified attapulgite clay was then evaluated by using simulated gasoline as the feed. The test results showed that the thiophene removal rate increased with an increasing dosage of hydrochloric acid during microwave modification of attapulgite clay. 4Effect of Nozzle Vane and Rotor Clearance on Performance of Variable Nozzle Turbine显示文摘In a variable nozzle turbine(VNT),the nozzle vane and rotor clearance can generate complicated tip leakage flow,which produces a large flow loss and results in a noticeable reduction in the VNT performance.Therefore,it is necessary to study the influence of the nozzle vane and rotor clearance on the VNT performance to reveal the underlying mechanisms.In this study,the variation of VNT performance resulting from the nozzle vane and rotor clearance was studied numerically using the commercial CFD code.The numerical results were in good agreement with the experimental data.VNT performance under three varied clearance conditions under different clearance sizes,rotating speeds,and expansion ratios was analyzed.Clearance conditions included the individual effect of nozzle vane clearance,the individual effect of rotor clearance,and the combined effect of nozzle vane and rotor clearance.The results showed that the rotor clearance(clearance size equal to 0.4 mm)resulted in a certain reduction in thermal efficiency(–3.98%)and torque(–4.48%).Meanwhile,the nozzle vane hub and shroud clearance also affected the thermal efficiency(–3.66%and–13.37%,respectively)and torque(12.54%and–0.05%,respectively).Compared with the rotor clearance,the nozzle vane clearance dominated the variation in the VNT performance,and the values of the mass flow ratio,thermal efficiency,and torque increased by 12.15%,5.43%,and 8.01%,respectively(The clearance on both sides of the vane was equal to 0.2 mm.).Under the combined effect of the nozzle vane and rotor clearance,the deviation of the thermal efficiency and mass flow ratio was smaller than the sum of the values of their individual effects;when the clearance on both sides of the vane was equal to 0.2 mm and the rotor clearance was equal to 0.6 mm,the value was reduced by 2.77%and 1.71%,respectively.This study also explains the influence mechanisms of clearance at both ends of the nozzle vane and the vane/rotor clearance interaction on the VNT performance in detail.LEI Xinguo LI Renfu XI Zhaojun YANG Ce 2022Journal of Thermal Science2022,31,5:0
5Ultra-microstructural changes in iliac artery after bare and magnetic stent implantation in rabbits显示文摘Objective To investigate the preventive effect of magnetic stent on coronary restenosis after percutaneous arterial stenting. Methods Twenty rabbits were divided randomly into 2 groups.Bare stent (BS group,n=10) or magnetic stent (MS group,n=10) was implanted in the left iliac artery of the rabbits of the 2 groups,respectively.Aspirin (25rag,qd) was administered orally to the rabbits of both groups from 3 days before stenting until the rabbits were executed.Unfractionated heparin (2500u,qd) was delivered subcuta- neously after stenting for 7 days.Five rabbits of each group were randomly selected to be executed at 7 or 30 days.Structural changes in the injured arteries were studied by optical microscopey,transmissive electronic microscopey and immunohistochemistry.Results At 7 days,more myofibroblasts were found migrating from adventitia to tunica media and intima in BS group than in MS group.Inside the media and intima,large amount of smooth muscle cells of synthetic type were observed.At 30 days after stenting,in magnetic group, most uascular smooth muscle cells (SMCs) under the intima had transformed to contractile type and only little extracellular matrix (ECM) was observed around the SMCs;whereas,in BS group,the SMCs remained to be synthetic type and large amount of ECM was observed around the SMCs,which was composed mainly ofproteoglycans and glycoproteins.Conclusions Magnetic stent can inhibit proliferation and migration of SMCs and reducing the production of ECM,and therefore,may prevent restenosis after coronary stenting.Xinhong Guo~1 Guoliang Jia~2 Anlin Lu~2 Xinguo Zhao~2 Fei Li~2 Rongqing Zhang~2 1 Institute of Geriatric Cardiology, Chinese PLA General Hospital, Beijing 100853, China 2 Department of Cardiology, Xijing Hospital, Xi’an 710033, China 2008Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2008,5,3:0
