| 1 | Separation and simultaneous quantitation of PGF2α and its epimer 8-iso-PGF2α using modifier-assisted differential mobility spectrometry tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘Because many therapeutic agents are contaminated by epimeric impurities or form epimers as a result of metabolism, analytical tools capable of determining epimers are increasingly in demand. This article is a proof-of-principle report of a novel DMS–MS/MS method to separate and simultaneously quantify epimers, taking PGF2α and its 8-epimer, 8-iso-PGF2α, as an example. Good accuracy and precision were achieved in the range of 10–500 ng/m L with a run time of only 1.5 min. Isopropanol as organic modifier facilitated a good combination of sensitivity and separation. | 2 | LiFePO_4/C via fluoride doping显示文摘Non-stoichiometric compound fluoride-doped LiFePO4/C cathode materials were synthesized via solid-state reaction using MgF2 and AlF3 as dopant. The fluoride-doped LiFePO4/C samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and electrochemical testing. The results show that the materials are well crystallized and fluoride doping cannot change the space structure of LiFePO4. Slight amounts of Fe2O3 with no fluoride impurity were detected. Charge-discharge curves show that fluoride-doped samples have higher capacity at low rates compared with undoped LiFePO4/C. AlF3-doped samples have highest capacity at high discharge current. Both doped samples have larger polarization voltage than undoped samples. | 15 | To Construct High Level Secure Communication System: CTMI Is Not Enough显示文摘Public key cryptographic(PKC) algorithms, such as the RSA, elliptic curve digital signature algorithm(ECDSA) etc., are widely used in the secure communication systems, such as OpenSSL, and a variety of information security systems. If designer do not securely implement them, the secret key will be easily extracted by side-channel attacks(SCAs) or combinational SCA thus mitigating the security of the entire communication system. Previous countermeasures of PKC implementations focused on the core part of the algorithms and ignored the modular inversion which is widely used in various PKC schemes. Many researchers believe that instead of straightforward implementation, constant time modular inversion(CTMI) is enough to resist the attack of simple power analysis combined with lattice analysis. However, we find that the CTMI security can be reduced to a hidden t-bit multiplier problem. Based on this feature, we firstly obtain Hamming weight of intermediate data through side-channel leakage. Then, we propose a heuristic algorithm to solve the problem by revealing the secret(partial and full) base of CTMI. Comparing previous nec-essary input message for masking filtering, our procedure need not any information about the secret base of the inversion. | 17 | Analysis on the Epidemiological Characteristics of Escherichia coli O157:H7 Infection in Xuzhou,Jiangsu,China,1999显示文摘Objective:To determine epidemiologic features of an Escherichia coli O157:H7 outbreak occurred in Xuzhou,Jiangsu Province,China in 1999,and assess the incidence of E. coli O157:H7 in diarrhea patients and host animals and its relationship with disease onset,and provide a scientific basis for establishing prevention and control strategies. Methods: Epidemiological,microbiological,and molecular methods were performed to identify risk factors and describe the ecology of E. coli O157:H7 in the environment. Results: From May to September,in 1999,99 cases of E. coli O157:H7 infection were confirmed. Fifty-six patients were enrolled in the case-control study. Bad personal health habits and poor sanitary conditions in the kitchen were associated with increased risks of infection,whereas hand washing was protective. The household survey indicated that residents in the epidemic region during the outbreak had higher than expected rates of diarrhea. The total E. coli O157:H7 carrier rate in the livestock was 12.36%(22/178),specifically 19.15% in cattle,12.50% in goat,and 11.11% in swine. Numerical analysis of pulsed-field gel electrophoresis(PFGE) profiles divided strains into two clusters with 77.5% homology. One cluster contained 11 strains isolated from diarrheal patients,foods,and animals. The other cluster comprised 10 strains from patients and environment. Conclusion: In a large outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infection among predominantly elderly residents in Xuzhou,high rates of carriage of E. coli O157: H7 among host animals most likely resulted in contamination of the environment,thereby leading to the outbreak. | 18 | Similar operation template attack on RSA-CRT as a case study显示文摘A template attack, the most powerful side-channel attack methods, usually first builds the leakage profiles from a controlled profiling device, and then uses these profiles to recover the secret of the target device. It is based on the fact that the profiling device shares similar leakage characteristics with the target device. In this study, we focus on the similar operations in a single device and propose a new variant of the template attack, called the similar operation template attack(SOTA). SOTA builds the models on public variables(e.g., input/output) and recovers the values of the secret variables that leak similar to the public variables. SOTA's advantage is that it can avoid the requirement of an additional profiling device. In this study, the proposed SOTA method is applied to a straightforward RSA-CRT implementation. Because the leakage is(almost) the same in similar operations, we reduce the security of RSA-CRT to a hidden multiplier problem(HMP) over GF(q), which can be solved byte-wise using our proposed heuristic algorithm.
