1Analysis of variation trends and causes of aerosol optical depth in Shaanxi Province using MODIS data显示文摘The temporal and spatial variations and causes of aerosol optical depth(AOD)in Shaanxi Province were investigated based on the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)derived aerosol data for the period of March 2000–February 2012.The results showed that the distribution of aerosol was largely affected by topography and local economic activities.Heavy aerosol loading and increasing tendency in AOD was observed in Guanzhong,Hanzhong and Ankang basin,while a reverse tendency was revealed in most other regions.The spatial distribution of aerosol Angstrom wavelength exponent was predominantly related to vegetation coverage in Shaanxi.Airborne dust from ground is an important source of coarse mode aerosols.Vegetation improvement indicated by an increase in normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)and a reduction in dust weather led to a gradual decrease in coarse mode AOD to the north of Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi,while anthropogenic activities led to an increase in fine mode AOD in other areas except those covered by forests.The main aerosol type gradually shifted to the urban industrial type in Shaanxi.DONG ZiPeng YU Xing LI XingMin DAI Jin 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35:8
2Ultra-light, high flexible and efficient CNTs/Ti3C2-sodium alginate foam for electromagnetic absorption application显示文摘Ultra-light carboxylic functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes(CNTs-COOH) and Ti3C2 MXene hybrids modified sodium alginate(CNTs/Ti3C2-SA) based composite foams were prepared through ice-templated freeze-drying method. The microstructure of the synthesized CNTs/Ti3C2 hybrids and CNTs/Ti3C2-SA foams is characterized by the presence of CNTs inserted between MXene layers which prevents their restacking. The resultant CNTs/Ti3C2 hybrids exhibit a unique sandwich-like hierarchical structure. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) images show that the CNTs/Ti3C2-SA foam exhibits a heterogeneous anisotropic microstructure and CNTs/Ti3C2 hybrids are homogeneously dispersed in the skeleton of the porous foam. In case that the content of the hybrids amounts 40 mg/cm^3, the CNTs/Ti3C2-SA foam possesses excellent electromagnetic(EM) absorption performance with a minimum reflection coefficient(RCmin) as low as-40.0 dB. In case of a sample thickness of 3.95 mm, the RCminreaches-24.4 dB and the effective absorption bandwidth covers the whole X band from 8.2 to 12.4 GHz. 3Particle Image Velocimetry Experimental and Computational Investigation of a Blood Pump显示文摘Blood pumps have been adopted to treat heart failure over the past decades.A novel blood pump adopting the ro-tor with splitter blades and tandem cascade stator was developed recently.A particle image velocimetry (PIV) experiment was carried out to verify the design of the blood pump based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and further analyze the flow properties in the rotor and stator.The original sized pump model with an acrylic housing and an experiment loop were constructed to perform the optical measurement.The PIV testing was car-ried out at the rotational speed of 6952±50 r/min with the flow rate of 3.1 l/min and at 8186±50 r/min with 3.5 l/min,respectively.The velocity and the Reynolds shear stress distributions were investigated by PIV and CFD,and the comparisons between them will be helpful for the future blood pump design.Xiaochen Yang Xingmin Gui Hui Huang Yongbin Shen Ziwen Yu Yan Zhang 2012Journal of Thermal Science2012,21,3:2
4Mo-doped one-dimensional needle-like Ni_(3)S_(2) as bifunctional electrocatalyst for efficient alkaline hydrogen evolution and overall-water-splitting显示文摘Hydrogen energy plays an important role in clean energy system and is considered the core energy source for future technological development owing to its lightweight nature,high calorific value,and clean combustion products.The electrocatalytic conversion of water into hydrogen is considered a highly promising method.An electrocatalyst is indispensable in the electrocatalytic process,and finding an efficient electrocatalyst is essential.However,the current commercial electrocatalysts(such as Pt/C and Ru)are expensive;therefore,there is a need to find an inexpensive and efficient electrocatalyst with high stability,corrosion resistance,and high electrocatalytic efficiency.In this study,we developed a cost-effective bifunctional electrocatalyst by incorporating molybdenum into nickel sulfide(Ni_(3)S_(2))and subsequently tailoring its structure to achieve a one-dimensional(1D)needle-like configuration.The hydrogen production efficiency of nickel sulfide was improved by changing the ratio of Mo doping.By analyzing the electrochemical performance of different Mo-doped catalysts,we found that the Ni_(3)S_(2)-Mo-0.1 electrocatalyst exhibited the best electrocatalytic effect in 1 M KOH;at a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2),it exhibited overpotentials of 120 and 279 mV for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),respectively;at a higher current density of 100 mA cm^(-2),the HER and OER overpotentials were 396 and 495 mV,respectively.Furthermore,this electrocatalyst can be used in a two-electrode water-splitting system.Finally,we thoroughly investigated the mechanism of the overall water splitting of this electrocatalyst,providing valuable insights for future hydrogen production via overall-water-splitting.Junjie Huang Yupeng Xing Jinzhao Huang Fei Li Gang Zhao Xingmin Yu Binxun Li Xinran Zhang 2024ChemPhysMater2024,3,1:0
5Rheological Properties and Microstructure of Printed Circuit Boards Modified Asphalt显示文摘The asphalt modified with different printed circuit boards(PCBs) content(0, 5%, 10%, and 15%) was prepared in this study. The general properties, rheological properties, temperature sensitivity, fatigue resistance, and morphology of the PCBs modified asphalt were investigated by conventional tests, the Brookfield viscometry tests, the dynamic shear rheometer(DSR) tests, the bending beam rheometer(BBR) tests, and the fluorescence microscopy tests. And the influence of PCBs content on the above-mentioned properties was analyzed systematically. The results showed that the addition of PCBs could improve the high temperature performance, the low temperature performance, and the temperature sensitivity property of the modified asphalt, while compromising with the fatigue resistance of the modified asphalt. With the increase of PCBs content, the modified asphalt could have better softening points, viscosity, failure temperature, and temperature sensitivity, while its low temperature performance and fatigue resistance became worse to different degree. And the particle size of PCBs became bigger and non-uniform with an increasing PCBs content.
