1Unconventional Natural Gas Accumulations in Stacked Deposits:A Discussion of Upper Paleozoic Coal-Bearing Strata in the East Margin of the Ordos Basin, China显示文摘The Upper Paleozoic(Carboniferous to Permian) succession in the east margin of the Ordos Basin in the North China Craton has a potential to contain significant hydrocarbon resources, though attention have been mainly attracted for its successful development of coalbed methane(CBM). To improve the previous resource estimates and evaluate the hydrocarbon play possibilities, this study incorporated new discoveries of hydrocarbon units and their stratigraphic relation with source rocks, hydrocarbon migration and trapping configurations. Continuous hydrocarbon accumulation units were identified within the Upper Paleozoic, including the Taiyuan, Shanxi and Xiashihezi formations with great tight gas potential, and the Taiyuan and Shanxi formations also containing shale gas and CBM. Different strata combinations are identified with coal deposition and favour for continuous gas accumulations, including the tidal flat, deltaic and fluvial systems distributed in most of the study areas. Methane was not only generated from the thick coal seams in the Taiyuan and Shanxi formations, but also from shale and dark mudstones. The coal, shale and tight sandstones are proved of remarkable gas content and hydrocarbon indications, and the gas saturation of tight sandstones decreases upward. The stacked deposit combinations vary isochronally in different areas, while the coal seams were developed stably showing good gas sources. Two key stages control the hydrocarbon enrichment, the continuous subsidence from coal forming to Late Triassic and the anomalous paleo-geothermal event happened in Early Cretaceous, as indicated by the fluid inclusions evidence. 2Three dimensional shear wave velocity structure of the crust and upper mantle beneath China from ambient noise surface wave tomography显示文摘We determine the three-dimensional shear wave velocity structure of the crust and upper mantle in China using Green's functions obtained from seismic ambient noise cross-correlation.The data we use are from the China National Seismic Network,global and regional networks and PASSCAL stations in the region.We first acquire cross-correlation seismograms between all possible station pairs.We then measure the Rayleigh wave group and phase dispersion curves using a frequency-time analysis method from 8 s to 60 s.After that,Rayleigh wave group and phase velocity dispersion maps on 1° by 1° spatial grids are obtained at different periods.Finally,we invert these maps for the 3-D shear wave velocity structure of the crust and upper mantle beneath China at each grid node.The inversion results show large-scale structures that correlate well with surface geology.Near the surface,velocities in major basins are anomalously slow,consistent with the thick sediments.East-west contrasts are striking in Moho depth.There is also a fast mid-to-lower crust and mantle lithosphere beneath the major basins surrounding the Tibetan plateau (TP) and Tianshan (Junggar,Tarim,Ordos,and Sichuan).These strong blocks,therefore,appear to play an important role in confining the deformation of the TP and constraining its geometry to form its current triangular shape.In northwest TP in Qiangtang,slow anomalies extend from the crust to the mantle lithosphere.Meanwhile,widespread,a prominent low-velocity zone is observed in the middle crust beneath most of the central,eastern and southeastern Tibetan plateau,consistent with a weak (and perhaps mobile) middle crust.Xinlei Sun Xiaodong Song Sihua Zheng Yingjie Yang Michael H. 3Pressure Sensor Based on the Fiber-Optic Extrinsic Fabry-Perot Interferometer显示文摘Pressure sensors based on fiber-optic extrinsic Fabry-Perot interferometer(EFPI)have been extensively applied in various industrial and biomedical fields.In this paper,some key improvements of EFPI-based pressure sensors such as the controlled thermal bonding technique,diaphragm-based EFPI sensors,and white light interference technology have been reviewed.Recent progress on signal demodulation method and applications of EFPI-based pressure sensors has been introduced.Signal demodulation algorithms based on the cross correlation and mean square error(MSE)estimation have been proposed for retrieving the cavity length of EFPI.Absolute measurement with a resolution of 0.08 nm over large dynamic range has been carried out.For downhole monitoring,an EFPI and a fiber Bragg grating(FBG)cascade multiplexing fiber-optic sensor system has been developed,which can operate in temperature 300℃with a good long-term stability and extremely low temperature cross-sensitivity.Diaphragm-based EFPI pressure sensors have been successfully used for low pressure and acoustic wave detection.Experimental results show that a sensitivity of 31 mV/Pa in the frequency range of 100 Hz to 12.7 kHz for aeroacoustic wave detection has been obtained.Qingxu YU Xinlei ZHOU 2011Photonic Sensors2011,1,1:17

5Leak detection in pipelines by exclusively frequency domain method显示文摘A further development of exclusively inverse frequency domain method for leak detection in pipelines is presented and validated.The location and leakage can be determined by analyzing the difference of transient water head response between the simulated and measured data in frequency domain.The transient signals are generated by portion sharp closure of a valve from the small constant opening and it needs only a few meters of water.The discrete boundary conditions and observation data are both transformed in frequency domain by Laplace transform.Example in numerical simulation is studied for demonstration of this approach.The application of the method to an experimental pipeline confirms the analysis and illustrates successful detection of the single pipeline leak.The precalibration approach is presented to minimize the effect of data and model error and it splits the method into two parts.One uses data from a known state to fit the parameters of the model and the other uses data from the current state for the fitting of leak parameters using the now calibrated model.Some important practical parameters such as wave speed,friction in steady and unsteady state and the adaptability of the method are discussed.It was found that the nonlinearity errors associated with valve boundary condition could be prevented by consideration of the induced flow perturbation curve shape.GUO XinLei YANG KaiLin GUO YongXin 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,3:8

7Optimizing water and nitrogen inputs for winter wheat cropping system on the Loess Plateau,China显示文摘Optimal use of water and fertilizers can enhance winter wheat yield and increase the efficiencies of water and fertilizer usage in dryland agricultural systems.In order to optimize water and nitrogen(N)management for winter wheat,we conducted field experiments from 2006 to 2008 at the Changwu Agro-ecological Experimental Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on the Loess Plateau,China.Regression models of wheat yield and evapotranspiration(ET)were established in this study to evaluate the water and fertilizer coupling effects and to determine the optimal coupling domain.The results showed that there was a positive effect of water and N fertilizer on crop yield,and optimal irrigation and N inputs can significantly increase the yield of winter wheat.In the drought year(2006–2007),the maximum yield(Ymax)of winter wheat was 9.211 t/hm2for the treatment with 324 mm irrigation and 310 kg/hm2N input,and the highest water use efficiency(WUE)of 16.335 kg/(hm2 mm)was achieved with198 mm irrigation and 274 kg/hm2N input.While in the normal year(2007–2008),the maximum winter wheat yield of 10.715 t/hm2was achieved by applying 318 mm irrigation and 291 kg/hm2N,and the highest WUE was 18.69kg/(hm2 mm)with 107 mm irrigation and 256 kg/hm2N input.Crop yield and ET response to irrigation and N inputs followed a quadratic and a line function,respectively.The optimal coupling domain was determined using the elasticity index(EI)and its expression in the water-N dimensions,and was represented by an ellipse,such that the global maximum WUE(WUEmax)and Ymax values corresponded to the left and right end points of the long axis,respectively.Considering the aim to get the greatest profit in practice,the optimal coupling domain was represented by the lower half of the ellipse,with the Ymax and WUEmax on the two end points of the long axis.Overall,we found that the total amount of irrigation for winter wheat should not exceed 324 mm.In addition,our optimal coupling domain visually reflects the optimal range of water and N inputs for the maximum winter wheat yield on the Loess Plateau,and it may also provide a useful reference for identifying appropriate water and N inputs in agricultural applications.QiuPing FU QuanJiu WANG XinLei SHEN Jun FAN 2014Journal of Arid Land2014,6,2:8
8Multifunctional polymeric micelle-based chemo-immunotherapy with immune checkpoint blockade for efficient treatment of orthotopic and metastatic breast cancer显示文摘Immunotherapy has become a highly promising paradigm for cancer treatment. Herein, a chemo-immunotherapy was developed by encapsulating chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin(DOX) and Toll-like receptor 7 agonist imiquimod(IMQ) in low molecular weight heparin(LMWH)-D-α-tocopheryl succinate(TOS) micelles(LT). In this process, LMWH and TOS were conjugated by ester bond and they were not only served as the hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments of the carrier, but also exhibited strong anti-metastasis effect. The direct killing of tumor cells mediated by DOX-loaded micelles(LT-DOX)generated tumor-associated antigens, initiating tumor-specific immune responses in combination with IMQ-loaded micelles(LT-IMQ). Furthermore, the blockade of immune checkpoint with programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1) antibody further elevated the immune responses by up-regulating the maturation of DCs as well as the ratios of CD8+ CTLs/Treg and CD4+ Teff/Treg. 9Isosteric design of friction-reduction and anti-wear lubricant additives with less sulfur content显示文摘To reduce harmful sulfur content in lubricant additives, making use of isosterism has been shown to be an effective strategy. When thiobenzothiazole compounds were used as templates, the exchange of sulfur atoms in the thiazole ring with oxygen atoms and NH groups produced twelve isosteres. Similarly, 2-benzothiazole- S-carboxylic acid esters were used as template molecules to produce six isosteres. About 30% of the isosteres exhibited a satisfactory deviation of ±5% relative to the template, ignoring the specific changes in the base oils, the differences in molecular structure, and the friction or wear properties. The template molecules and isosteres in triisodecyl trimellitate exhibited better tribological properties than in trimethylolpropane trioleate or bis(2- ethylhexyl) adipate. Comparative molecular field analysis(CoM FA)- and comparative molecular similarity index analysis(CoMSIA)-quantitative structure tribo-ability relationship(QSTR) models were employed to study the correlation of molecular structures between the base oils and additives. 11Estimating antiwear properties of esters as potential lubricantbased oils using QSTR models with CoMFA and CoMSIA显示文摘Comparative molecular field analysis and comparative molecular similarity indices analysis were employed to analyze the antiwear properties of a series of 57 esters as potential lubricant-based oils. Predictive 3D-quantitative structure tribo-ability relationship models were established using the SYBYL multifit molecular alignment rule with a training set and a test set. 13Temporal and spatial expression of MMP-2,-9,-14 and their inhibitors TIMP-1,-2,-3 in the corpus luteum of the cycling rhesus monkey显示文摘The corpus luteum (CL) is a transient endocrine organ that secretes progesterone to support early pregnancy. If implantation is unsuccessful, luteolysis is initiated. Extensive tissue re-modeling occurs during CL formation and luteolysis. In this study, we have studied the possible in-volvement of MMP-2, -9, -14, and their inhibitors, TIMP-1, -2, -3 in the CL of cycling rhesus monkey at various stages by in situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry and microscopic assessment. The re-sults showed that the MMP-2 mRNA and protein were mainly expressed in the endothelial cells at the early and middle stages of the CL development, while their expressions were observed in the luteal cells at the late stage during luteal regression. MMP-9 protein was detected in the CL at the early and middle stages, and obviously increased at the late stage. The expressions of MMP-14 and TIMP-1 mRNA were high at the early and late stages, and low at the middle stage. TIMP-2 mRNA was high throughout all the stages, the highest level could be observed at the late stage. The TIMP-3 produc-tion was detected throughout all the stages, but obviously declined during CL regression. MMP-9, -14 and TIMP-1, -2, -3 were mainly localized in the cytoplasm of the steroidogenic cells. 14Expression of steroidogenic acute regulatory protein and its regulation by interferon-gamma in rat corpus luteum显示文摘The steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR) is the key regulatory protein of steroidogenesis. De novo synthesis of StAR protein is required for intramitochondrial translocation of cholesterol to the cytochrome P450 side chain cleavage enzyme which is located on the matrix side of the inner mitochondrial membrane. This is the rate-limiting step of steroid biosynthesis. Using in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry we studied StAR expression in various stages of the corpora luteal and its regulation by interferon-gamma (IFNγ) in the adult pseudopregnant rat. 15Major Miocene geological events in southern Tibet and eastern Asia induced by the subduction of the Ninetyeast Ridge显示文摘Cenozoic adakitic rocks in the Gangdese changed from barren continental melts to ore-forming slab melts at * 23 Ma. The distribution and chemical characteristics of the ore-forming adakites point to an association with the Ninetyeast Ridge. 16Temporal–spatial distribution and diastereoisomer pattern of hexabromocyclododecane in the vicinity of a chemical plant显示文摘Hexabromocyclododecane(HBCD) is an effective brominated flame-retardant additive, which is mainly produced in the coastal area of China. This study collected soil samples from a HBCD production plant and its surrounding area in Weifang, Shandong Province, China, and analyzed the temporal–spatial distribution of HBCD and its diastereoisomers in soil. The analysis results showed that the concentration of HBCD in soil near the plant was much higher than normal values, with an annual average concentration reaching 5405 ng/g. Soils 1,2 and 4 km away from the plant were also analyzed, showing that the concentration of HBCD in soil decreased accordingly with the distance from the pollution sources. In order to investigate the effect of the season on HBCD content, the soil samples were collected in all four seasons of the year 2017–2018. According to variations in the wind direction, the concentration of HBCD in soil was also changed. The distribution trend showed that the concentration of HBCD in soil in the downwind direction of the prevailing wind was higher than that in the upwind direction. In addition, this work analyzed the distribution of HBCD in vertical soil sections. It was found that the concentration of HBCD decreased with depth in the soil vertical profile. 17QTL mapping and QTL × environment interaction analysis of multi-seed pod in cultivated peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)显示文摘To dissect the genetic mechanism of multi-seed pod in peanut, we explored the QTL/gene controlling multi-seed pod and analyzed the interaction effect of QTL and environment. Two hundred and forty eight recombinant inbred lines(RIL) from cross Silihong × Jinonghei 3 were used as experimental materials planted in 8 environments from 2012 to 2017. Three methods of analysis were performed. These included individual environment analysis, joint analysis in multiple environments, and epistatic interaction analysis for multi-seed pod QTL. Phenotypic data and best linear unbiased prediction(BLUP) value of the ratio of multi-seed pods per plant(RMSP) were used for QTL mapping. Seven QTL detected by the individual environmental mapping analysis and were distributed on linkage groups 1, 6, 9, 14, 19(2), and 21. Each QTL explained 4.42%–11.51% of the phenotypic variation in multi-seed pod, and synergistic alleles of5 QTL were from the Silihong parent. One QTL, explaining 4.93% of the phenotypic variation was detected using BLUP data, and this QTL mapped in the same interval as q RMSP19.1 detected in the individual environment analysis. Seventeen additive QTL were identified by joint analysis across multiple environments. A total of 43 epistatic QTL were detected by ICIM-EPI mapping in the multiple environment trials(MET) module, and involved 57 loci. Two main-effect QTL related to multi-seed pod in peanut were filtered. We also found that RMSP had a highly significant positive correlation with pod yield per plant(PY), and epistatic effects were much more important than additive effects. 20AdipoRon prevents L-thyroxine or isoproterenol-induced cardiac hypertrophy through regulating the AMPK-related pathway显示文摘Cardiac hypertrophy is a risk factor which can intrigue heart failure.In the present study,we explored whether AdipoRon attenuates isoprenaline (ISO) or L-thyroxine-induced cardiac hypertrophy in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats and whether the anti-hypertrophy effect is mediated by AMPK-related pathway.Here,cardiac hypertrophy was induced by injection of L-thyroxine or ISO in SD rats.In the treatment group,AdipoRon was co-administered.We examined the effects of AdipoRon on cardiac hypertrophy and hypertrophy signaling pathway.The weight of SD rats was recorded every day.Rats were killed for collection of blood and heart under anesthesia.The left heart weight and heart weight were weighed.Paraffin-embedded heart tissue regions (4 μm) were stained with hematoxylin and eosin or Masson to detect left heart hypertrophy and myocardial fibrosis.The serum BNP levels were determined by using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The mRNA levels of ANP,BNP,PGC-1α,and ERRα were evaluated by real-time PCR analysis.The protein expression levels of PGC-1α,ERRα,and pAMPK/AMPK were determined by western blot analysis.The results showed that AdipoRon significantly reversed heart weight (HW)/ body weight (BW) ratio,left ventricular (LV)/BW ratio,serum BNP level and the mRNA level of ANP and BNP induced by ISO or L-thyroxine.ISO or L-thyroxine reduced both the mRNA level and protein level of ERRα and PGC-1α,and also reduced the protein level of pAMPK/AMPK.However,AdipoRon reversed ISO or L-thyroxine-induced changes of pAMPK/AMPK,ERRα,and PGC-1α.Our data indicated that the effects of AdipoRon are mediated partly by activating AMPK-related pathway,and AdipoRon plays a potential role in the prevention of cardiac hypertrophy.Xinlei Hu Qiong Ou-Yang Lanlan Wang Tingting Li Xiaoxue Xie Jun Liu 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,1:3
