| 1 | Effects of fertilization and container-type on nutrient uptake and utilization by four subtropical tree seedlings显示文摘Seedling quality is important for subtropical tree species endangered by the degradation of natural habitats in southern China.At present,the cultural regime for raising these seedlings involving fertilizer levels and size of container is not clear.In this study,seedlings of three endangered species,red-seed tree(Ormosia hosiei),Zhejiang phoebe(Phoebe chekian gensis),and Zhejiang camphor(Cinnamomum japonicum)were evaluated along with red-bark oak(Cyclobalanopsis gilva)as a reference,a species which is not endangered.Seedlings were raised in 2.8,3.6,5.1,and 6.3 L containers and fertilizer applied at 1.0,2.0,3.0 and 4.0 kg m-3.Seedling height and leaf biomass increased in response to higher fertilizer levels while larger containers resulted in greater stem and root biomass.Root biomass of endangered species seedlings did not respond to neither treatments.Zhejiang phoebe seedlings responded to nitrogen and phosphorus uptake but red-seed tree seedlings were unaffected by any nutrient levels.Red-bark oak seedlings had high nitrogen-use efficiency.Based on the results,it is recommended using at least 5.1 L containers to culture Zhejiang phoebe and Zhejiang camphor seedlings with fertilizer at 3.0 kg m-3.Red-bark oak and red-seed tree seedlings should be cultured with 2.0 kg m-3 in smaller containers. | Xiuli Chu Xiuhua Wang Dongbei Zhang Xiaolin Wu Zhichun Zhou | 2020 | Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,4: | 4 |
| 2 | Effect of surface ligand density on cytotoxicity and pharmacokinetic profile of docetaxel loaded liposomes显示文摘Various biotin-modified liposomes incorporated with docetaxel(DTX) were prepared to study the effect of surface biotin density on the pharmacokinetic profile of the liposome. Four types of liposomes such as PEG modified liposome(PDL), 0.5%(mol) biotin modified liposome(0.5 BDL), 1%(mol) biotin modified liposome(1 BDL) and 2%(mol) biotin modified liposome(2 BDL) were prepared using thin film dispersion method. The prepared liposomes were characterized by measuring encapsulation efficiency(EE), particle size, Zeta-potential, physical stability and drug release profiles in vitro. MTT assay was performed to elevate the cytotoxicity of liposomes on MCF-7 cells. In vivo evaluation was further performed to investigate the effect of biotin surface density on the pharmacokinetic profiles. All the prepared liposomes exhibited high encapsulation efficiency, small particle size, narrow particle distribution and sustained release profiles in vitro. In MTT assay, 0.5 BDL showed largest tumor cell toxicity, compared with DTX solution. All liposomes containing DTX showed prolonged blood circulation in vivo, and 0.5 BDL showed the longest circulation time among the biotin modified liposome. Surface modification of liposome had a negative impact on the circulation of liposomes in the blood, which needs to be considered when designing the ligand mediated targeting delivery systems. | 8 | Crop Disease Recognition Based on Improved Model-Agnostic Meta-Learning显示文摘Currently,one of the most severe problems in the agricultural industry is the effect of diseases and pests on global crop production and economic development.Therefore,further research in the field of crop disease and pest detection is necessary to address the mentioned problem.Aiming to identify the diseased crops and insect pests timely and accurately and perform appropriate prevention measures to reduce the associated losses,this article proposes a Model-Agnostic Meta-Learning(MAML)attention model based on the meta-learning paradigm.The proposed model combines meta-learning with basic learning and adopts an Efficient Channel Attention(ECA)mod-ule.The module follows the local cross-channel interactive strategy of non-dimensional reduction to strengthen the weight parameters corresponding to certain disease characteristics.The proposed meta-learning-based algorithm has the advantage of strong generalization capability and,by integrating the ECA module in the original model,can achieve more efficient detection in new tasks.The proposed model is verified by experiments,and the experimental results show that compared with the original MAML model,the proposed improved MAML-Attention model has a better performance by 1.8–9.31 percentage points in different classification tasks;the maximum accuracy is increased by 1.15–8.2 percentage points.The experimental results verify the strong generalization ability and good robustness of the proposed MAML-Attention model.Compared to the other few-shot methods,the proposed MAML-Attention performs better. | Xiuli Si Biao Hong Yuanhui Hu Lidong Chu | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,6: | 0 |
