2Potential Benefits of Biochar in Agricultural Soils:A Review显示文摘Soil degradation,characterized by declines in nutrient status and simultaneous accumulation of pesticide residues,is a major problem affecting agricultural ecosystems.Previous studies indicate that biochar application to soil has promise as a practical method to alleviate these pressures:increasing crop yield and enhancing pesticide degradation.Here,we review the roles of biochar in both chemical and biological promotion of pesticide degradation and the potential benefits of biochar relating to the efficiency of fertilizer use,availability of nutrients,and nutrient exchange.Biochar typically has a high surface area featuring many functional groups,a high cation exchange capacity,and high stability.Major factors that impact on the nutrient retention characteristics of biochar(e.g.,feedstock,pyrolysis temperature,and application rate) are also discussed herein.Nonetheless,more studies of the long-term impacts on soil properties from biochar addition are still required before it can be possible to accurately quantify the sustainability of this approach to sequester carbon and restore soil function.DING Yang LIU Yunguo LIU Shaobo HUANG Xixian LI Zhongwu TAN Xiaofei ZENG Guangming ZHOU Lu 2017Pedosphere2017,27,4:10
3The development of silicate matrix phosphors with broad excitation band for phosphor-convered white LED显示文摘This paper briefly reviews the recent progress in alkaline earth silicate host luminescent materials with broad excitation band for phosphor-convered white LED. Among them, the Sr-rich binary phases (Sr, Ba, Ca, Mg)2SiO4:Eu2+ and (Sr, Ba, Ca, Mg)3SiO5:Eu2+ are excellent phosphors for blue LED chip white LED. They have very broad excitation bands and exhibit strong absorption of blue radiation in the range of 450―480 nm. And they exhibit green and yellow-orange emission under the InGaN blue LED chip radiation, respectively. The luminous efficiency of InGaN-based (Sr, Ba, Ca, Mg)2SiO4:Eu2+ and (Sr, Ba, Ca, Mg)3SiO5:Eu2+ is about 70-80 lm/W, about 95%―105% that of the InGaN-based YAG:Ce, while the correlated color temperature is between 4600―11000 K. Trinary alkaline earth silicate host luminescent materials MO(M=Sr, Ca, Ba)-Mg(Zn)O-SiO2 show strong absorption of deep blue/near-ultraviolet radia- tion in the range of 370―440 nm. They can convert the deep blue/near-ultraviolet radiation into blue, green, and red emissions to generate white light. The realization of high-performance white-light LEDs by this approach presents excellent chromaticity and high color rendering index, and the application disadvantages caused by the mixture of various matrixes can be avoided. 4miR-410 induces both epithelial–mesenchymal transition and radioresistance through activation of the PI3K/mTOR pathway in non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Radiotherapy remains one of the major treatments for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients;whereas intrinsic or acquired radioresistance limits its efficacy.Nevertheless,most studies so far have only focused on acquired resistance.The exact mechanisms of intrinsic radioresistance in NSCLC are still unclear.A few studies have suggested that epithelial–mesenchymal transition(EMT)is associated with radioresistance in NSCLC.However,little is known about whether the abnormal expression of specific microRNAs induces both EMT and radioresistance.We previously found that miR-410 has multiple roles as an oncomiRNA in NSCLC.In this study,we revealed that miR-410 overexpression promoted EMT and radioresistance,accompanied by enhanced DNA damage repair both in vitro and in vivo.Conversely,knockdown of miR-410 showed the opposite effects.We further demonstrated that PTEN was a direct target of miR-410 by using bioinformatic tools and dual-luciferase reporter assays,and the miR-410-induced EMT and radioresistance were reversed by PI3K,Akt,and mTOR inhibitors or by restoring the expression of PTEN in NSCLC cells.In addition,we preliminarily found that the expression of miR-410 was positively correlated with EMT and negatively associated with the expression of PTEN in NSCLC specimens.In summary,these results demonstrated that miR-410 is an important regulator on enhancing both NSCLC EMT and radioresistance by targeting the PTEN/PI3K/mTOR axis.The findings suggest that miR-410-induced EMT might significantly contribute to the enhanced radioresistance.Therefore,miR-410 may serve as a potential biomarker or therapeutic target for NSCLC radiotherapy.Yue Yuan Hu Liao Qiang Pu Xixian Ke Xueting Hu Yongfang Ma Xinmei Luo Qianqian Jiang Yi Gong Min Wu Lunxu Liu Wen Zhu 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:5
5Study on the Anti-Liver Fibrosis Effect of Benefit Liver Granule (益肝冲剂) and Its Mechanism in Rats显示文摘Objective:To explore the effect of Benefit Liver Granule (BLG), a traditional Chinese medical preparation, in antagonizing liver fibrosis and its possible mechanism. Methods:Carbon tetrachloride was used to establish the experimental liver fibrosis model of rat. The model rats were randomly divided into 4 groups and BLG, Astragalus (As), Salvia (Sa) and normal saline (for control) respectively were given to them by gastrogavage. Changes of serum alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), transforming growth factor α(TGF α), interleukine 6 (IL 6), liver content of hydroxyproline (Hyp), superoxide dismutase (SOD), malonyldialdehyde (MDA) as well as liver pathology after treatment were observed. A normal control group was also established for control.Results: Pathological examination showed that in the saline group, the structure of normal hepatic lobuli was destroyed with swelled liver cells, focal necrosis, extensive fatty degeneration, and focal inflammatory cell infiltration. Small amounts of proliferated fiber tissue were found in the intra lobular area, peri central vein area, portal area and limiting plate area, and formation of pseudolobuli was also seen. In the 3 treated groups, the serum ALT, AST, TGF α and IL 6 as well as liver content of Hyp, and MDA were lower and SOD were higher than those in the control group significantly, P <0.05 or P <0.01.Conclusion: BLG, As and Sa have the action of anti liver fibrosis, while BLG has the best effect. 6Blue,green,red upconversion luminescence and optical characteristics of rare earth doped rare earth oxide and oxysulfide显示文摘The cold isostatic press pretreatment process was adopted to prepare fine rare earth oxysulfide up-conversion phosphors with spherical shape, narrow size distribution and high luminescence efficiency. The upconversion optical characteristics and brightness of the blue (Y2O2SYb,Tm), green (Y2O2S: Yb,Er), red (Y2O3Yb,Er) emitter were also investigated, and a novel method was successfully developed for the brightness measurement of upconversion luminescence (UPL). It is shown that a white color can be obtained by the appropriate mixture of these primary blue, green and red emissions components. The Er3+ ions exhibit different upconversion mechanism in Y2O2S and Y2O3 host materials. The rare earth oxysulfide is an efficient upconversion matrix. The UPL brightness of Y2O2S: Yb,Er is 6.5 times higher than that of Y2O3: Yb,Er, and Y2O2S: Yb,Er shows UPL brightness of 1100 cd/m2 under 5.56 W/cm2 power density using a 980 nm laser diode.LUO XiXian CAO WangHe 2007Science China Chemistry2007,50,4:4
7Artificial intelligence-assisted automatic and index-based microbial single-cell sorting system for One-Cell-One-Tube显示文摘Identification,sorting,and sequencing of individual cells directly from in situ samples have great potential for in-depth analysis of the structure and function of microbiomes.In this work,based on an artificial intelligence(AI)-assisted object detection model for cell phenotype screening and a cross-interface contact method for single-cell exporting,we developed an automatic and index-based system called EasySort AUTO,where individual microbial cells are sorted and then packaged in a microdroplet and automatically exported in a precisely indexed,“One-Cell-One-Tube”manner.The target cell is automatically identified based on an AI-assisted object detection model and then mobilized via an optical tweezer for sorting.Then,a crossinterface contact microfluidic printing method that we developed enables the automated transfer of cells from the chip to the tube,which leads to coupling with subsequent single-cell culture or sequencing.The efficiency of the system for single-cell printing is>93%.The throughput of the system for single-cell printing is~120 cells/h.Moreover,>80%of single cells of both yeast and Escherichia coli are culturable,suggesting the superior preservation of cell viability during sorting.Finally,AI-assisted object detection supports automated sorting of target cells with high accuracy from mixed yeast samples,which was validated by downstream single-cell proliferation assays.The automation,index maintenance,and vitality preservation of EasySort AUTO suggest its excellent application potential for single-cell sorting.Zhidian Diao Lingyan Kan Yilong Zhao Jingyun Song Chen Wang Yang Liu Fengli Zhang Teng Xu Rongze Chen Xixian Wang Xiaoyan Jing Jian Xu Yuandong Li Bo Ma 2022mLife2022,1,4:2

12White up-conversion luminescence and highly-sensitive optical temperature sensing in Na_(3)La(VO_(4))_(2):Yb,Er,Tm,Ho phosphors显示文摘In this work,tunable white up-conversion luminescence was achieved in the Yb^(3+),Er^(3+),Tm^(3+),Ho^(3+) codoped Na_(3)La(VO_(4))_(2) phosphors under 980 nm excitation.The emissions of three primary colors are mainly attributed to the ~2H_(11/2)/~4S_(3/2)→~4I_(15/2) transitions of Er^(3+),~1G_(4)→~3H_6 transition of Tm^(3+),and_5F_5→~5I_8 transition of Ho^(3+).White luminescence characteristics and mechanisms of up-conversion system were investigated in detail.In addition,the temperature sensing behaviors of multiple levels emission combinations for Na_(3)La(VO_(4))_(2):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+),Tm^(3+),Ho^(3+) were analyzed by employing thermally coupled and non-thermally coupled energy levels.Based on the emissions of ~3F_(2,3)/~1G_(4) energy levels,the maximum relative and absolute sensitivities were obtained to be 2.20%/K and 0.279 K^(-1).The design of up-conversion luminescence materials with high-quality white luminescence and excellent sensitivity performance is critical in the field of optical applications.Qi Xiao Xiumei Yin Lin Lv Xinyao Dong Na Zhou Kuichao Liu Xixian Luo 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,7:1
