| 2 | Real-time and reliability analysis of time-triggered CAN-bus显示文摘Real-time performance and reliability are two most important issues in applications of time-triggered controller area network (CAN) bus systems at present. A scheduling matrix of time-triggered CAN-bus system is established using average-loading algorithm. Periodic messages are guaranteed to transmit without delay by distributing independent transmission windows within the system matrix. Considering the traditional CAN-bus transmission mechanism and the time-triggered feature, an algorithm is improved to calculate the worst-case delay of event-triggered messages in time-triggered CAN-bus systems. The failure probability is calculated for event-triggered messages whose worst-case delay exceeds their deadlines. Different levels of redundant structures of CAN-bus circuits are analyzed and the maintenance management is proposed to improve the system reliability. | 3 | Clinical features, survival and prognostic factors of primary testicular diffuse large B-cell lymphoma显示文摘Objective: To assess the clinical features, survival and prognostic factors of primary testicular diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL).Methods: A retrospective study of 37 patients with primary testicular DLBCL was carried out from November 2003 to May 2012. Their clinical features, survival and prognostic factors were analyzed.Results: During a median follow-up period of 39.8 months(5.4-93.0 months), the median progression-free survival(PFS) was 26.2 months(95% CI: 0-65 months) and the 3-year overall survival(OS) rate was 78.4%. Within the whole cohort, the factors significantly associated with a superior PFS were limited stage(stage I/II), lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) ≤245 U/L, international prognostic index(IPI) ≤1, primary tumor diameter <7.5 cm, and patients who had complete response(CR) and received doxorubicin-contained chemotherapy(P<0.05). There was a trend toward superior outcome for patients who received combined therapy(surgery/chemotherapy/radiotherapy)(P=0.055). Patients who had CR, primary tumor diameter <7.5 cm and IPI score ≤1 were significantly associated with longer PFS at multivariate analysis.Conclusions: Primary testicular DLBCL had poorer survival. CR, primary tumor diameter and IPI were independent prognostic factors. | 4 | Rechargeable metal(Li, Na, Mg, Al)-sulfur batteries: Materials and advances显示文摘Energy and environmental issues are becoming more and more severe and renewable energy storage technologies are vital to solve the problem.Rechargeable metal(Li,Na,Mg,Al)-sulfur batteries with low-cost and earth-abundant elemental sulfur as the cathode are attracting more and more interest for electrical energy storage in recent years.Lithium-sulfur(Li-S),room-temperature sodium-sulfur(RT Na-S),magnesium-sulfur(Mg-S)and aluminum-sulfur(Al-S)batteries are the most prominent candidates among them.Many obvious obstacles are hampering the developments of metal-sulfur batteries.Li-S and Na-S batteries are encumbered mainly by anode dendrite issues,polysulfides shuttle and low conductivity of cathodes.Mg-S and Al-S batteries are short of suitable electrolytes.In this review,relationships between various employed nanostructured materials and electrochemical performances of metal-sulfur batteries have been demonstrated.Moreover,the selections of suitable electrolytes,anode protection,separator modifications and prototype innovations are all crucial to the developments of metal-sulfur batteries and are discussed at the same time.Herein,we give a review on the advances of Li-S,RT Na-S,Mg-S and Al-S batteries from the point of view of materials,and then focus on perspectives of their future developments. | Xue Liu Yan Li Xu Xu Liang Zhou Liqiang Mai | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10: | 3 |
| 5 | Metallogenetic model of Jiaodong-type gold deposits,eastern China显示文摘The genesis of giant gold provinces is an international scientific frontier,in which the source of a huge amount of gold and the drive for mineralization are key challenges.The mineralization intensity of the Jiaodong gold province in eastern China is a rare occasion in the world,because it owns gold reserves of~5500 tons within an area of less than 10,000 km^(2).The Jiaodong gold province formed in the superimposed domain of diverse tectonic regimes in an intracontinental setting.Paleoproterozoic regional peak metamorphism and Triassic continental collision are followed by the tectonic transition and gold mineralization at ca.120 Ma with time intervals of 1.9 billion years and about 100 million years,respectively.The Jiaodong gold deposits are different from orogenic and intrusion-related gold deposits in terms of the tectonic background,types of host rocks,and oreforming mechanism.These gold deposits show close spatial-temporal and genetic relationships to mafic igneous rocks,implying the derivation of ore-forming fluids from the metasomatic mantle domains.Mafic dykes in Jiaodong have negativeε_(Hf)(t)values of-29.9 to-9.1,Os content of 0.002-0.16 ppb,heavyδ^(18)O up to 8.23‰,and high initial^(187)Os/^(188)Os ratios of 0.1352-0.8858.These indicate that the lithospheric mantle was metasomatized by ancient crust-derived components.The lithospheric mantle in the western Jiaodong shows generally more enriched isotope features than that in the eastern part,which is explained to be an important reason for its huge gold resources.The mafic dykes show lighter Mg isotope characteristics(averageδ^(26)Mg of-0.33‰,n=50)and high Ca O content(overall greater than 6.5 wt%),indicating that the lithospheric mantle would also record the metasomatism by the carbonate rocks from the subducting oceanic slab.Under the background of the rollback of the subducting paleo-Pacific slab and the destruction of the North China Craton,partial melting of the lower crust would produce granitic magmas that led to the enrichment of gold in the residual crust.The syn-mineralization asthenosphere upwelling would promote the recycling of the lower crust and the partial melting of the metasomatic mantle domains.Basic magmas,produced by the partial melting,and the mantle itself would degas to form ore fluids.The ore fluids would further leach gold in the lower crust to increase its fertility.The auriferous fluids were transported to the middle to upper crust along the detachment and strike-slip faults.Water-rock interaction and fluid immiscibility,which occurred in and above the ductile-brittle transition zone to induce gold precipitation,formed the Jiaodong gold deposits.Given the unique geological features and genetic model of the Jiaodong gold deposits,they can be defined as“Jiaodong-type”gold deposits. | Jun DENG Qingfei WANG Liang ZHANG Shengchao XUE Xuefei LIU Lin YANG Liqiang YANG Kunfeng QIU Yayun LIANG | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,10: | 2 |

| 7 | Enhanced bioproduction of chitin in engineered Pichia pastoris显示文摘Biopolymer chitin and its derivatives have a wide range of applications in different fields.Chitin is primarily produced from marine crustacean by strong acid and strong alkali treatment.To reduce the environmental hazardous in the production of chitin,post-fermentation fungal biomass waste like fungi cell walls provides a viable alternative source for chitin.In this study,improved chitin content in yeast cell wall was achieved by overexpressing chitin biosyntheic pathway related genes.The chitin content was 51.5μg/mg cell wall and 122.9μg/mg cell wall in strain GS-1.10(gfat,uap and chs1 genes overexpression)and strain GS-2.6(gfat,gna1,agm1,uap and chs1 genes overexpression),which were 44.3%and 244.4%higher than that in control strain GS115,respectively.By overexpressing another chitin synthase gene(chs3),the chitin content in strain GS-3.10 was further increased to 136.2μg/mg cell wall,which was 10.8%and 281.6%higher than that in GS-2.6 and in control GS115,respectively.Moreover,chitin yield was further improved by various culture conditions optimization,and reached 162.4μg/mg cell wall,which was 4.43 times of that in the starting strain GS115.The final titer of chitin was 2.23 g/L culture broth in 84 h fed-batch fermentation in a 5 L bioreactor.To our knowledge,this is the first report of chitin production in engineered Pichia pastoris via biosynthetic pathway enhancement. | Xue Zhang Chunyue Zhang Mian Zhou Quanming Xia Liqiang Fan Liming Zhao | 2022 | Food Bioscience2022,47,3: | 1 |

| 9 | Risk assessment and identification of factors influencing the historical concentrations of microcystin in Lake Taihu, China显示文摘Understanding the history of microcystins(MCs)pollution in large lakes can help inform future lake management.We collected sediment cores from Lake Taihu to:investigate the long-term record of MCs(MC-LR,MC-YR,and MC-RR),explore the main environmental drivers of MCs,and assess their public health and ecological risks.Results showed that MCs content in all cores increased over time.The core from north Taihu had the highest MC concentrations,with an average total MCs(sum of MC-LR,MC-YR,and MC-RR=TMCs)content of(74.31±328.55)ng/g.The core from eastern Taihu showed the lowest average TMCs content of(2.91±3.95)ng/g.PCA showed that sediment MCs at the three sites were positively correlated with sediment chlorophyll-a.MC-LR and MC-YR in northern and western Taihu negatively correlated with both the sediment total organic carbon/sediment total nitrogen ratio(STOC/STN)andwater nitrate(NO_(3)^(−)-N)concentration,but three MC congeners at eastern Taihu showed positive correlations with water orthophosphate(PO_(4)^(3−)-P),NO_(3)^(−)-N,and STOC/STN.Generalized additive model analysis at each site revealed that NO_(3)^(−)-N was the main TMCs driver in northern andwestern Taihuwhere phytoplankton dominated,whereasPO_(4)^(3−)-P was the main TMCs driver in eastern Taihu where macrophytes dominated.At the whole lake scale,total phosphorus(TP)andPO_(4)^(3−)-P were the most important environmental drivers influencing MCs;TP explained 47.4%,44.2%,and 47.6%while orthophosphate explained 34.8%,31.2%,and 34.7%of the deviance on TMCs,MC-LR,and MC-YR,respectively.NO_(3)^(−)-N also showed a strong effect on MCs variation,especially on MC-YR.Risk assess-ment showed that both ecological and public health risk has increased in recent years.We conclude that while control of phosphorus and nitrogen input should be a major focus for future lake management,lake zone-specificmanagement strategiesmay also be important. | Chen Cheng Alan D.Steinman Kaiye Zhang Qi Lin Qingju Xue Xing Wang Liqiang Xie | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5: | 0 |
| 10 | In situ Observation of Li Deposition-Induced Cracking in Garnet Solid Electrolytes显示文摘Lithium(Li)penetration through solid electrolytes(SEs)induces short circuits in Li solid-state batteries(SSBs),which is a critical issue that hinders the development of high energy density SSBs.While cracking in ceramic SEs has been often shown to accompany Li penetration,the interplay between Li deposition and cracking remains elusive.Here,we constructed a mesoscale SSB inside a focused ion beam-scanning electron microscope(FIB-SEM)for in situ observation of Li deposition-induced cracking in SEs at nanometer resolution.Our results revealed that Li propagated predominantly along transgranular cracks in a garnet Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO).Cracks appeared to initiate from the interior of LLZTO beneath the electrode surface and then propagated by curving toward the LLZTO surface.The resulting bowl-shaped cracks resemble those from hydraulic fracture caused by high fluid pressure on the surface of internal cracks,suggesting that the Li deposition-induced pressure is the major driving force of crack initiation and propagation.The high pressure generated by Li deposition is further supported by in situ observation of the flow of filled Li between the crack flanks,causing crack widening and propagation.This work unveils the dynamic interplay between Li deposition and cracking in SEs and provides insight into the mitigation of Li dendrite penetration in SSBs. | Jun Zhao Yongfu Tang Qiushi Dai Congcong Du Yin Zhang Dingchuan Xue Tianwu Chen Jingzhao Chen Bo Wang Jingming Yao Ning Zhao Yanshuai Li Shuman Xia Xiangxin Guo Stephen J.Harris Liqiang Zhang Sulin Zhang Ting Zhu Jianyu Huang | 2022 | Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,2: | 0 |
| 11 | Wormholing Influenced by Injection Temperature in Carbonate Rocks显示文摘This paper presented empirical models of describing reaction rate vs. hydrochloric acid temperature and concentration by regressing experimental data. And this paper also introduced the dependent reaction heat model into the thermal non-equilibrium models and coupled with two-scale continuum model to obtain governing equations for describing wormholing under non-isothermal conditions. The governing equations were discretized by implicit difference method and solved by programing. The effects of temperature on wormholing have been investigated based on the simulation results on 2-D vision. A significant difference of the effluent temperature between the dependent reaction heat model in present work and the constant reaction heat model in available literatures was observed, especially in high injection rate and strong acid concentration. In addition, the tendencies of optimum injection capacity vs. injection temperature under isothermal and non-isothermal conditions were almost different. | 12 | Hausdorff point convolution with geometric priors显示文摘Developing point convolution for irregular point clouds to extract deep features remains challenging. Current methods evaluate the response by computing point set distances which account only for the spatial alignment between two point sets, but not quite for their underlying shapes. Without a shapeaware response, it is hard to characterize the 3 D geometry of a point cloud efficiently with a compact set of kernels. In this paper, we advocate the use of modified Hausdorff distance as a shape-aware distance measure for calculating point convolutional responses. The technique we present, coined Hausdorff point convolution(HPC), is shape-aware. We show that HPC constitutes a powerful point feature learning with a rather compact set of only four types of geometric priors as kernels. We further develop an HPC-based deep neural network(HPC-DNN). Task-specific learning can be achieved by tuning the network weights for combining the shortest distances between the input and the kernel point sets. We also realize hierarchical feature learning by designing a multi-kernel HPC for multi-scale feature encoding.
