1Measuring Recreational Value of World Heritage Sites Based on Contingent Valuation Method:A Case Study of Jiuzhaigou显示文摘World heritage possesses various kinds of use value and non-use value. Measuring the recreational value of world heritage sites is a key issue in the heritage tourism. This paper employs Contingent Valuation Method (CVM), which is an evaluation instrument on the basis of tourists′ attitude and preference, to measure the recreational value of Jiuzhaigou, one of the World Natural Heritage sites in China, and analyzes the biases in the survey. The results show that: 1) In 2009, Jiuzhaigou′s recreational value was 3.46×108 yuan (RMB), and the per capita Willingness to Pay (WTP) was 137.31 yuan by CVM. Compared with the results of other methods, this result is significantly low. 2) Among the factors that influence Jiuzhaigou tourists′ WTP, psychological perception factors have the greatest effect while demographic and socio-economic characteristics have a small effect on WTP. 3) The virtuality in CVM creates biases both from CVM itself and in the procedures that CVM was implemented. The former includes hypothetical bias, information bias, protest response bias, and strategic bias; and the latter includes the questionnaire design, population and sample definition, sampling and data processing. 7Functional Polypyridine Co Complex as an Efficient Catalyst for Photo-Induced Water Oxidation显示文摘A novel mononuclear cobalt complex 1 was synthesized by treatment of CoC12o6H20 with a COOMe func-tionalized TPA ligand (TPA=tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine). In a basic borate buffer, 1 acts as an efficient catalyst forwater oxidation, which is confirmed by an extinct catalytic oxidant wave in electrochemistry. Visible light-drivenwater oxidation has been achieved by 1 with a TON of 127.7 and a TOF of 3.8 s^-1 respectively in a homogeneoussystem. 9Nano-sized alumina supported palladium catalysts for methane combustion with excellent thermal stability显示文摘Pd/Al_(2)O_(3)catalysts supported on Al_(2)O_(3)of different particle sizes were synthesized and applied in methane combustion.These catalysts were systematically characterized by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET),X-ray diffraction (XRD),high resolution-transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM),high-angle annular dark?eld-scanning transmission electron microscopy (HAADF-STEM),H_(2)-temperature-programmed reduction (H_(2)-TPR),O_(2)-temperature-programmed oxidation (O_(2)-TPO),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),and X-ray absorption?ne structure (XAFS).The characterization results indicated that nanosized Al_(2)O_(3)enabled the uniform dispersion of palladium nanoparticles,thus contributing to the excellent catalytic performance of these nano-sized Pd/Al_(2)O_(3)catalysts.Among them,Pd/Al_(2)O_(3)-nano-10 (Pd/Al_(2)O_(3)supported by alumina with an average particle size of 10 nm)showed superior catalytic activity and stability for methane oxidation under harsh practical conditions.It maintained excellent catalytic performance for methane oxidation for50 hr and remained stable even after harsh hydrothermal aging in 10 vol.%steam at 800℃ for 16 hr.Characterization results revealed that the strong metal-support interactions and physical barriers provided by Al_(2)O_(3)-nano-10 suppressed the coalescence ripening of palladium species,and thus contributed to the superior sintering resistance of the Pd/Al_(2)O_(3)-nano-10 catalyst.Wei Shi Guangyan Xu Xuewang Han Yingjie Wang Zhi Liu Sen Xue Nannan Sun Xiaoyan Shi Yunbo Yu Hong He 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,4:0
