| 1 | Independent ore deposits of dispersed elements显示文摘EIGHT elements Ge, Ga, In, Tl, Re, Cd, Se and Te are usually referred to as dispersed elements. In the long past, there has been no report on independent ore deposits of dispersed elements at home andabroad. In recent years there have been continually discovered independent ore deposits of Ge, Tl, Cd,Se and Te in the southwestern part of China, which is a great breakthrough in the field of ore deposits. The discovery of dispersed element independent deposits indicates that the dispersed elements are of dispersion in nature, but, on the other hand, they can also be concentrated to form independent ore depositsunder favorable geological conditions, even to form superlarge ore deposits under certain geological conditions. Having being restrained by traditional ideas, people have not paid sufficient attention to thestudy of independent ore deposits of dispersed elements as they have little knowledge about the geochemical behavior of dispersed elements in the processes of their mobilization, transport and enrichment. | GAO Zhenmin, LI Chaoyang and YAO Linbo Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guiyang 550002, China | 1999 | Chinese Science Bulletin1999,44,S2: | 3 |

| 4 | A multi-objective reinforcement learning algorithm for deadline constrained scientific workflow scheduling in clouds显示文摘Recently,a growing number of scientific applications have been migrated into the cloud. To deal with the problems brought by clouds, more and more researchers start to consider multiple optimization goals in workflow scheduling. However, the previous works ignore some details, which are challenging but essential. Most existing multi-objective work-flow scheduling algorithms overlook weight selection, which may result in the quality degradation of solutions.Besides,we find that the famous partial critical path(PCP)strategy, which has been widely used to meet the deadline constraint, can not accurately reflect the situation of each time step.Work-flow scheduling is an NP-hard problem,so self-optimizing algorithms are more suitable to solve it.In this paper, the aim is to solve a workflow scheduling problem with a deadline constraint. We design a deadline constrained scientific workflow scheduling algorithm based on multi-objective reinforcement learning(RL)called DCMORL.DCMORL uses the Chebyshev scalarization function to scalarize its Q-values.This method is good at choosing weights for objectives. We propose an improved version of the PCP strategy called MPCP.The sub-deadlines in MPCP regularly update during the scheduling phase,so they can accurately reflect the situation of each time step. The optimization objectives in this paper include minimizing the execution cost and energy consumption within a given deadline. Finally,we use four scientific workflows to compare DCMORL and several representa-tive scheduling algorithms. The results indicate that DCMORL outperforms the above algorithms. As far as we know,it is the first time to apply RL to a deadline constrained workflow scheduling problem. | Yao QIN Hua WANG Shanwen YI Xiaole LI Linbo ZHAI | 2021 | Frontiers of Computer Science2021,15,5: | 0 |
| 5 | A preliminary discussion on the bio-metallogenesis of Tl deposits in the low-temperature minerogenetic province of southwestern China显示文摘Starting with the research status of bio-metallogenesis of Tl deposits and their geology, this work deals with the geological background of Tl enrichment and mineralization and the mechanism of bio- metal-logenesis of Tl deposits, as exemplified by Tl deposits in the low-temperature minerogenetic province. This research on the bio-metallogenesis of Tl deposits is focused on the correlations between bio-enrichment and Tl, the enrichment of Tl in micro-paleo-animals in rocks and ores, bio-fossil casts in Tl-rich ores, the involvement of bio-sulfur in minerogenesis and the enrichment of bio-genetic organic carbon in Tl ores. Thallium deposits have experienced two ore-forming stages: syngenetic bio- en-richment and epigenetic hydrothermal reworking (or transformation). Owing to the intense epigenetic hydrothermal reworking, almost no bio-residues remain in syngenetically bio-enriched Tl ores, thereby the Tl deposits display the characteristics of hydrothermally reoworked deposits. | ZHANG Zhong, ZHANG BaoGui, HU Jing, YAO LinBo & TIAN YiFu The Key Laboratory of Ore Deposit Geochemistry, Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guiyang 550002, China | 2007 | Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,3: | 0 |
