1An energy-efficient geographic routing based on cooperative transmission in wireless sensor networks显示文摘In this paper, we propose an energy-efficient cooperative geographic routing (ECGR) to reach energy-efficient routing in wireless sensor networks (WSN). ECGR takes full advantage of cooperative diversity and geographic routing. At physical layer, cooperative nodes transmit the same packet in a cooperative way to achieve farther transmission distance of each hop without more energy consumption. While at the network layer, ECGR adaptively selects the appropriate cooperative nodes to form forwarding clusters to forward the packet to the destination when we consider energy consumption and geographic information of the sensor nodes. Meanwhile, in order to fully assess the energy consumption, we take circuit energy consumption of the sensor nodes into consideration. 2Climatic trends over the Tibetan Plateau during 1971-2000显示文摘Trends of annual and monthly temperature, precipitation, potential evapotranspi- ration and aridity index were analyzed to understand climate change during the period 1971–2000 over the Tibetan Plateau which is one of the most special regions sensitive to global climate change. FAO56–Penmen–Monteith model was modified to calculate potential evapotranspiration which integrated many climatic elements including maximum and mini- mum temperatures, solar radiation, relative humidity and wind speed. Results indicate gen- erally warming trends of the annual averaged and monthly temperatures, increasing trends of precipitation except in April and September, decreasing trends of annual and monthly poten- tial evapotranspiration, and increasing aridity index except in September. It is not the isolated climatic elements that are important to moisture conditions, but their integrated and simulta- neous effect. Moreover, potential evapotranspiration often changes the effect of precipitation on moisture conditions. The climate trends suggest an important warm and humid tendency averaged over the southern plateau in annual period and in August. Moisture conditions would probably get drier at large area in the headwater region of the three rivers in annual average and months from April to November, and the northeast of the plateau from July to September. Complicated climatic trends over the Tibetan Plateau reveal that climatic factors have nonlinear relationships, and resulte in much uncertainty together with the scarcity of observation data. The results would enhance our understanding of the potential impact of climate change on environment in the Tibetan Plateau. 3An efficient ranging method based on Chinese remainder theorem for RIPS measurement显示文摘The radio interferometric positioning system(RIPS) measures the phase difference of the interference signal to provide high accuracy and at the same time maintain simple hardware configuration for wireless sensor networks.However, it suffers from phase ambiguity problem because of the periodicity of phase, which makes it hard to determine the actual distance difference only from a single phase measurement.To solve the problem, RIPS makes multiple measurements at different frequencies so as to determine the distance difference from multiple phases.However, this is a computationally intensive searching process and not suitable for energyconstrained wireless sensor nodes.In this paper, we introduce the Chinese remainder theorem(CRT) to RIPS to solve the phase ambiguity problem.Meanwhile, we utilize some properties of the coefficients in the CRT algorithm to avoid the over-sensitivity of the traditional CRT, which increases the robustness of the algorithm.We apply this robust CRT algorithm to the ranging process which calculates the distance difference directly from a closed-form equation and therefore reduces the response time and the energy consumption of the ranging procedure.WANG Chen , YIN QinYe & WANG WenJie Ministry of Education Key Lab for Intelligent Networks and Network Security, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an 710049, China 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,6:13
4Robust MVDR beamforming based on covariance matrix reconstruction显示文摘The minimum variance distortionless response(MVDR) beamformer has better resolution and much better interference rejection capability than the data-independent beamformers.However,the former is more sensitive to errors,such as the steering vector errors caused by direction of arrival mismatch,imprecise array calibration or any other possible factors,especially in the case of high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).A new robust MVDR beamformer against the general steering vector errors is proposed in this paper.This method is based on the reconstruction of the covariance matrix which aims to reduce the power of the signal of interest(SOI) in the covariance matrix.The eigenanalysis is used in the process of removing the SOI component and modifying the residual covariance matrix.Simulation results show that the proposed method has excellent signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR) performance under the mismatch condition.MU PengCheng LI Dan YIN QinYe GUO Wei 2013Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,4:11
5A distributed localization in wireless sensor networks utilizing AOD estimation and synthetical uniform circular array显示文摘The localization of wireless sensor nodes is one of the key technologies in wireless sensor networks(WSN). Recently, a distributed localization method has been proposed based on a novel concept of angle of departure(AOD) estimation, which can be employed by e.g., the single antenna sensors to estimate the angle information and achieve localization. Based on the AOD estimation, in this paper, we introduce a synthetic uniform circular array(SUCA) synthesized by a rotary antenna on anchor to get the distributed localization of the sensors in multi-path environments. The rotated operation of antenna could create the SUCA with a larger aperture to deal with AOD of multipath components(MPCs) and relax the condition that array aperture should be greater than the number of MPCs. This new localization method only relies on radio transceivers without requiring extra measuring equipments, and the sensor nodes conduct localization in a completely distributed manner instead of centralized processing, which is suitable for large-scale WSN. 6Adipocyte-derived SFRP5 inhibits breast cancer cells migration and invasion through Wnt and epithelial-mesenchymal transition signaling pathways显示文摘Objective:Obesity is closely associated with metastasis in breast cancer patients.Secreted frizzled-related protein 5(SFRP5),one of the novel adipokines with anti-inflammatory properties,is associated with obesity.This study aims to study the role of SFRP5 in the crosstalk between obesity and breast cancer metastasis and identify the underlying mechanism.Methods:3T3-L1 pre-adipocytes were differentiated to mature adipocytes and a hypertrophic adipocyte model was induced with palmitic acid(PA).Cell motility was measured in MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 breast cancer cells co-cultured with adipocytes conditioned medium(CM)with or without SFRP5 protein.Wnt and epithelialmesenchymal transition(EMT)signal pathways were investigated by western blot.Circulating SFRP5 level in 218 breast cancer patients and the association with clinicopathologic characteristics of breast cancer were further determined.Online databases ENCORI and PREDICT Plus were used to exam the link between SFRP5 and prognosis.Results:Reduced SFRP5 level was detected in the hypertrophic adipocyte model.Recombinant SFRP5 protein inhibited MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 cells invasion and migration induced by PA-treated adipocyte CM,and SFRP5 inhibition by specific antibody reversed the effect of SFRP5.Furthermore,SFRP5 significantly inhibited Wnt and downstream EMT in breast cancer cells.Low circulating SFRP5 level correlated with body mass index(BMI),lymph node(LN)metastasis,TNM stage and high Ki67 expression in breast cancer patients.Increased SFRP5 level was associated with favorable predicted survival.Kaplan-Meier curves showed high SFRP5 level in tumor tissue was associated with better outcome of breast cancer patients.Conclusions:Our findings demonstrated SFRP5 is a vital adipokine that mediates the crosslink between obesity and the metastatic potential of breast cancer.Promotion of SFRP5 expression in the adipose microenvironment may represent a novel approach for preventing breast cancer metastasis.Wenzhong Zhou Chunmiao Ye Liang Li Liyuan Liu Fei Wang Lixiang Yu Fei Zhou Yujuan Xiang Yongjiu Wang Gengshen Yin Zhongbing Ma Qinye Fu Qiang Zhang Dezong Gao Shuya Huang Zhigang Yu 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,3:5

9Two-step transmission with artificial noise for secure wireless SIMO communications显示文摘The issue of physical layer security of the wireless single-input multiple-output(SIMO) system is addressed in this paper. We propose a two-step transmission scheme with artificial noise to improve the security and the scheme does not require the channel state information of the eavesdropper. In the first step, the destination which has multiple antennas generates a random reference symbol and artificial noise and transmits them in the direction of the source and its orthogonal space, respectively. The reference symbol is received by the source without being polluted by the artificial noise, while it is jammed by the artificial noise for the eavesdropper. In the second step, the symbol of the source is multiplied by the received reference symbol and then transmitted. Finally, the destination can directly estimate the symbol of the source using the reference symbol. However, the eavesdropper needs to additionally estimate the reference symbol for demodulating the symbol of the source, which usually obtains an inaccurate result due to the artificial noise. The informationtheoretic security of our scheme is analyzed and a lower bound of the achievable secrecy rate is derived. The performance of the new scheme is compared with that of the traditional approach under different input signals through numerical simulations. 10AOD estimation in WSN localization system with synthetic aperture technique显示文摘Angel of departure(AOD) based distributed localization scheme in wireless sensor networks allows the single antenna sensor node to estimate its own AOD information by an equivalent antenna array for further position calculation.However,the condition that the number of antennas at the multi-antenna agent/anchor node should be larger than the number of multipath signal components(MPCs) constrains its actual application.In this paper,we provide a more practical approach to achieve AOD information estimation under multipath environment.Given that the sensor node can not identify the line of sight(LOS) signal component due to the insufficient degree of freedom,which is determined by the above limiting condition,we introduce a synthetic aperture technique with the aid of a fast moving multi-antenna agent/anchor node.This operation greatly enlarges the degree of freedom of the equivalent antenna array constructed at sensor node end but without requiring other extra physical antennas equipped at agent/anchor node or sensor node end,which means that it relaxes the limiting condition.Therefore,the AOD information of LOS signal component can be estimated and extracted successfully in complex multipath environment.Theoretical analysis proves the effectiveness of our proposed synthetic aperture technique and numerical simulations show great performance improvement.WANG WenJie YAO BoBin YIN QinYe 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,10:4
11Radio interferometric localization of WSNs based on Doppler effect显示文摘A novel distributed localization method based on the Doppler effect for wireless sensor networks is proposed in this paper, which only relies on radio transceivers without the need of other auxiliary measurement equipments. Based on radio interference, each sensor node can obtain a multi-group of distance variations from itself to a mobile anchor through the measurement of the cumulative phase variations caused by Doppler effect, by which its position can be determined. The proposed method has the following advantages: the sensor node conducts localization in a completely distributed manner without information exchange or centralized processing, and the measurement result equals the actual distance without modulus operation, which is in reality measuring the distance with a ruler of radio wavelength, and will significantly reduce the system complexity and achieve high location accuracy. 12Outage-optimal relaying through opportunistic hybrid forward cooperation显示文摘In this paper, a new scheme based on relay selection and data forwarding in multi-relay cooperative networks is introduced. Unlike most existing solutions focused on amplify-and-forward (AF) or decode-and-forward (DF) protocol separately, the proposed hybrid forward (HF) scheme takes advantage of both AF and DF protocols in relay forwarding. Based on theoretical analysis, a closed-form expression for the tight lower bound of its outage probability is derived, and further performance analysis is also presented. Then, in total power restricted networks, an optimal power allocation strategy between the source and the selected relay is developed to minimize the outage probability. 13JOINT SPACE-FREQUENCY MULTIUSER SYMBOL DETECTOR FOR MC-CDMA SYSTEM WITH UNIFORM LINEAR ARRAY显示文摘The MultiCarrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) scheme is promising for relieving capacity limit problems of Direct Sequence (DS-) CDMA systems due to serious InterChip Interference (ICI) and MultiUser Interference (MUI) in high-data-rate wireless communication systems. In this paper, the Uniform Linear Array (ULA) is applied to the base station of macrocellular MC-CDMA systems in a frequency-selective fading channel environment. A joint space-frequency multiuser symbol sequence detector is developed for all active users within one macrocell without space-frequency channel estimation. Simultaneously, Directions-Of-Arrivals (DOAs) of all active users can also be estimated. By dividing the ULA into two identical overlapping subarrays, a specific auxiliary matrix is constructed, which includes both symbol sequence and DOA information of all active users. Then, based on the subspace method, performing the eigen decomposition on such auxiliary matrix, the closed-form solution of symbol sequences and DOAs for all active users can be obtained. In comparison with schemes based on channel estimation, our algorithm need not explicitly estimate the space-frequency channel for each active user,so it has lower computation complexity. 162-D DIRECTION FINDING OF COHERENT SIGNALS VIA TEMPORO-SPATIAL PROCESSING显示文摘In most wireless communication systems, two-dimensional Directions-Of-Arrival (DOA) of multipath signals need to be found for spatial selective transmission. However, it is quite difficult to find their DOAs due to the coherent nature of multipath signals and considerable computations when performing 2-D searches. In this paper, a new algorithm to estimate 2-D DOA of multiple narrow-band signals is proposed. A DOA cyclic matrix is constructed whose eigenvalues and eigenvectors can be simultaneously used to extract 2-D DOA without 2-D searches. By exploiting the temporal property of cyclostationarity, the signal detection capability is significantly improved. Besides, based on the decorrelation model for mobile terminal signals, the algorithm can be effectively extended to the coherent case without spatial smoothing and the loss of array aperture. 17Cyclic-delay time-reversal space-time block codes for single-carrier transmission with frequency-domain decision-feedback equalization显示文摘Transmit diversity is an important multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) approach to improve the transmission reliability;however,it is usually designed with maximum-likelihood detection.In this paper,we investigate a simple transceiver structure for single-carrier MIMO systems,in which the cyclic-delay time-reversal space-time block code (CDTR-STBC) is employed at the transmitter,and the frequency-domain decision-feedback equalization (FD-DFE) is used at the receiver.We separate the transmit antennas into two groups,and then,encode the groups by STBC and cyclically delay the data streams within each group.Such processing can mitigate the impact of error-propagation and reduce the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) loss when FD-DFE is employed,in which SNR is defined as the ratio of the received signal power over the noise power at each receive antenna.To support our proposal,this paper also provides the performance analysis of FD-DFE.It is shown that the proposed scheme can achieve full diversity and full transmission rate for a MIMO system employing arbitrary antennas.Therefore,it has considerable performance improvement over the existing schemes.FENG Ang YIN QinYe WANG HuiMing 2011Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,9:2
18Robust linear receivers for STBC systems with unknown co-channel interference显示文摘Focusing on space-time block code (STBC) systems with unknown co-channel interference, an oblique projection-based robust linear receiver is proposed in this paper. Based on the oblique projection, the desired signal subspace and interference-plus-noise subspace are first identified from the received signal. Then the matched filter receiver is used to decode the STBC encoded signals in the desired signal subspace. 19Pilot-aided channel estimation for CDD-OFDM systems显示文摘Cyclic delay diversity (CDD) is a low-complexity transmit diversity technique for coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), which transforms a multiple-input channel into an equivalent singleinput channel with increased frequency selectivity and provides additional frequency diversity. However, it makes channel estimation more difficult due to the increased frequency selectivity. In this paper, focusing on the direct estimation of the equivalent single-input channel for CDD-OFDM systems, a cyclic cross-correlation channel estimation method based on the equispaced constant-modulus pilot structure is first proposed. Using the statistical parameters of the channel and noise derived by the cyclic cross-correlation channel estimation, an improved channel estimation method based on the Wiener filter is proposed to reduce the estimation error further. 20Fair relay selection in decode-and-forward cooperation based on outage priority显示文摘The opportunistic cooperation schemes,where only the 'best' relay is selected to forward the message,have been widely investigated recently for their good performance in terms of outage probability.However,the unfair selections of relays may cause unbalance power consumptions among relays,which reduces the lifetime of energy constrained networks.In this paper,we introduce a novel concept of outage priority based fairness(OPF),aiming at improving the selection fairness among relays appropriately without outage performance deterioration.Then,a cooperation scheme is proposed to meet this concept,and corresponding theoretical analysis is also provided.Afterward,based on OPF,the achievable upper bound of the fairness is derived,and an optimal cross-layer designed scheme is also provided to achieve the bound.Numerical simulations are carried out finally,which not only validate the theoretical analysis,but also show that taking advantages of the proposed schemes,the fairness among all relays,as well as the network lifetime,can be greatly improved without any loss of outage performance,especially in high SNR regime.LI YuBo WANG HuiMing YIN QinYe LUO Miao 2013Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,6:2
