1Simulation of the spin-boson model with superconducting phase qubit coupled to a transmission line显示文摘Based on the rapid experimental developments of circuit QED,we propose a feasible scheme to simulate the spin-boson model with superconducting circuits,which can be used to detect quantum Kosterlitz-Thouless(KT) phase transition.We design the spinboson model by using a superconducting phase qubit coupled to a semi-infinite transmission line,which is regarded as a bosonic reservoir with a continuum spectrum.By tuning the bias current or the coupling capacitance,the quantum KT transition can be directly detected through tomography measurement on the states of the phase qubit.We also estimate the experimental parameters using the numerical renormalization group method.YU LongBao TONG NingHua XUE ZhengYuan WANG ZiDan ZHU ShiLiang 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,9:6
2Quantum cloning with multicopy in d-dimensions显示文摘The explicit transformations of the 1→ 3 optimal universal quantum cloning and the optimal phase-covariant quantum cloning in d-dimensions are presented, and the dimensionalities of their ancillary systems are both d-dimensions. As d→∞ , their clone fidelities move toward 1/3, showing a classical limit for the fidelity of quantum cloning. 5Multicopy quantum state discrimination显示文摘In this paper, we study the problem of multicopy quantum two-state discrimination. By exploring the quantum hypothesis testing, i.e., the probabilistic quantum cloning, we derive the upper bounds of the minimal error discrimination (MED) and the optimal unambiguous discrimination (OUD), which coincides with the Helstrom theorem and the JS limit. Furthermore, when prior probabilities are unknown, we derive the minimax MED and the minimax OUD. Based on the optimal N→M probabilistic quantum cloning, we present the optimal strategies of collective measurements of the MED and the OUD. 8Sequential stabilization of RNF220 by RLIM and ZC4H2 during cerebellum development and Shh-group medulloblastoma progression显示文摘Sonic hedgehog (Shh) signaling is essential for the proliferation of cerebellar granule neuron progenitors (CGNPs), and its misregulation is linked to various disorders, including cerebellar cancer medulloblastoma (MB). During vertebrate neural development, RNF220, a ubiquitin E3 ligase, is involved in spinal cord patterning by modulating the subcellular location of glioma-associated oncogene homologs (Glis) through ubiquitination. RNF220 is also required for full activation of Shh signaling during cerebellum development in an epigenetic manner through targeting embryonic ectoderm development. ZC4H2 was reported to be involved in spinal cord patterning by acting as an RNF220 stabilizer. Here, we provided evidence to show that ZC4H2 is also required for full activation of Shh signaling in CGNP and MB progression by stabilizing RNF220. In addition, we found that the ubiquitin E3 ligase RING finger LIM domain-binding protein (RLIM) is responsible for ZC4H2 stabilization via direct ubiquitination, through which RNF220 is also thus stabilized. RLIM is a direct target of Shh signaling and is also required for full activation of Shh signaling in CGNP and MB cell proliferation. We further provided clinical evidence to show that the RLIM‒ZC4H2‒RNF220 cascade is involved in Shh-group MB progression. Disease-causative human RLIM and ZC4H2 mutations affect their interaction and regulation. 9Geometric measure of quantum discord and the geometry of a class of two-qubit states显示文摘We investigate the geometric picture of the level surfaces of quantum entanglement and geometric measure of quantum discord(GMQD) of a class of X-states, respectively. This pictorial approach provides us a direct understanding of the structure of entanglement and GMQD. The dynamic evolution of GMQD under two typical kinds of quantum decoherence channels is also investigated. It is shown that there exists a class of initial states for which the GMQD is not destroyed by decoherence in a finite time interval.
