Establishment and application of drilling sealing model in the spherical grouting mode based on the loosing-circle theory显示文摘There are quite a few studies that have been done on borehole sealing theory both domestically and internationally. The existing researches usually consider drilling of the surroundings as a dense homogeneous elastic body which does not meet the characteristics of real drilling of the fractured body.Based on the loosing-circle theory and analyses of the surrounding rock stress field, cracks and seepage fields, combined with Newtonian fluid spherical grouting model,we deduced the dynamic relationship between the seepage coefficient and rock or grouting parameters of the drilling sealing fluid mode of spherical fissure grouting. In this experiment, mucus was injected in the simulated coal seam and the permeability coefficient of the sealing body was calculated by using the model. To verify the validity of the model, the calculated sealing body number was compared with the extreme negative pressure that the sealing body could withstand. The theoretical model revealed the drilling sealing fluid mechanism, provided a method for the quantitative calculation of the drilling sealing fluid effect by grouting mode and a reference for the subsequent research of sealing mechanism.Hao Zhiyong Lin Baiquan Gao Yabin Cheng Yanying 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,6:6

eIF-Three to Tango: emerging functions of translation initiation factor eIF3 in protein synthesis and disease显示文摘Studies over the past three years have substantially expanded the involvements of eukaryotic initiation factor 3 (eIF3) in messenger RNA (mRNA) translation. It now appears that this multi-subunit complex is involved in every possible form of mRNA translation, controlling every step of protein synthesis from initiation to elongation, termination, and quality control in positive as well as negative fashion. Through the study of eIF3, we are beginning to appreciate protein synthesis as a highly integrated process coordinating protein production with protein folding, subcellular targeting, and degradation. At the same time, eIF3 subunits appear to have specific functions that probably vary between different tissues and individual cells. Considering the broad functions of eIF3 in protein homeostasis, it comes as little surprise that eIF3 is increasingly implicated in major human diseases and first attempts at therapeutically targeting eIF3 have been undertaken. Much remains to be learned, however, about subunit- and tissue-specific functions of eIF3 in protein synthesis and disease and their regulation by environmental conditions and post-translational modifications.Dieter AWolf Yingying Lin Haoran Duan Yabin Cheng 2020Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,6:0
Conformal manufacturing of soft deformable sensors on the curved surface显示文摘Health monitoring of structures and people requires the integration of sensors and devices on various 3D curvilinear, hierarchically structured, and even dynamically changing surfaces. Therefore,it is highly desirable to explore conformal manufacturing techniques to fabricate and integrate soft deformable devices on complex 3D curvilinear surfaces.Although planar fabrication methods are not directly suitable to manufacture conformal devices on 3D curvilinear surfaces, they can be combined with stretchable structures and the use of transfer printing or assembly methods to enable the device integration on 3D surfaces.Combined with functional nanomaterials, various direct printing and writing methods have also been developed to fabricate conformal electronics on curved surfaces with intimate contact even over a large area. After a brief summary of the recent advancement of the recent conformal manufacturing techniques,we also discuss the challenges and potential opportunities for future development in this burgeoning field of conformal electronics on complex 3D surfaces.Wanqing Zhang Ling Zhang Yabin Liao Huanyu Cheng 2021International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2021,3,4:0
Preparation of highly conductive graphene-coated glass fibers by sol-gel and dip-coating method显示文摘In order to fabricate highly-conductive glass fibers using graphene as multi-functional coatings, we reported the preparation of graphene-coated glass fibers with high electrical conductivity through solgel and dip-coating technique in a simple way. Graphene oxide (GO) was partially reduced to graphene hydrosol, and then glass fibers were dipped and coated with the reduced GO (rGO). After repeated solgel and dip-coating treatment, the glass fibers were fully covered with rGO coatings, and consequently exhibited increased hydrophobicity and high electrical conductivity. The graphene-coated fibers exhibited good electrical conductivity of 24.9 S/cm, being higher than that of other nanocarbon-coated fibers and commercial carbon fibers, which is mainly attributed to the high intrinsic electrical conductivity of rGO and full coverage of fiber surfaces. The wettability and electrical conductivity of the coated fibers strongly depended on the dip-coating times and coating thickness, which is closely associated with coverage degree and compact structure of the graphene coatings. By virtue of high conductivity and easy operation, the graphene-coated glass fibers have great potential to be used as flexible conductive wires, highly-sensitive sensors, and multi-functional fibers in many fields.Minghe Fang Xuhai Xiong Yabin Hao Tengxin Zhang Han Wang Hui-Ming Cheng You Zeng 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,9:8
A graphene-laminated electrode with high glucose oxidase loading for highly-sensitive glucose detection显示文摘Graphene oxide(GO) has received considerable attention for glucose detection because of high surface area, abundant functional groups, and good biocompatibility. Defects and functional groups of the GO are beneficial to immobilization of glucose oxidase(GOD), but sacrificing electron-transfer capability for highly-sensitive detection. In order to obtain high GOD loading and highly-sensitive detection of biosensors, we first designed and fabricated a graphene-laminated electrode by combining GO and edgefunctionalized graphene(FG) layers together onto glassy-carbon electrode. The graphene-laminated electrodes exhibited faster electron transfer rate, higher GOD loading of 3.80 × 10^(-9) mol·cm^(-2), and higher detection sensitivity of 46.71 μA·mM^(-1)·cm^(-2) than other graphene-based biosensors reported in literature. Such high performance is mainly attributed to the abundant functional groups of GO, high electrical conductivity of FG, and strong interactions between components in the graphene-laminated electrodes.By virtue of their high enzyme loading and highly-sensitive detection, the graphene-laminated electrodes show great potential to be widely used as high-performance biosensors in the field of medical diagnosis.Yabin Hao Minghe Fang Chuan Xu Zhe Ying Han Wang Rui Zhang Hui-Ming Cheng You Zeng 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,7:2
Stabilization of high-voltage layered oxide cathode by utilizing residual lithium to form NASICON-type nanoscale functional coating显示文摘High-voltage medium-nickel low-cobalt lithium layered oxide cathode materials are becoming a popular development route for high-energy lithium-ion batteries due to their relatively high capacity, low cost, and improved safety.Unfortunately, capacity fading derived from surface lithium residue,electrode-electrolyte interfacial side reactions, and bulk structure degradation severely limits large-scale commercial utilization. In this work,an ultrathin and uniform NASICON-type Li_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)(LVP)nanoscale functional coating is formed in situ by utilizing residual lithium to enhance the lithium storage performance of LiNi_(0.6)Co0.05Mn_(0.35)O_(2)(NCM)cathode.The GITT and ex-situ EIS and XPS demonstrate exceptional Li+diffusion and conductivity and attenuated interfacial side reactions, improving the electrode-electrolyte interface stability. The variable temperature in-situ XRD demonstrates delayed phase transition temperature to improve thermal stability. The battery in-situ XRD displays the singlephase H1-H2 reaction and weakened harmful H3 phase transition, minimizing the bulk mechanical degradation. These improvements are attributed to the removal of surface residual lithium and the formation of NASICON-type Li_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)functional coatings with stable structure and high ionic and electronic conductivity.Consequently, the obtained NCM@LVP delivers a higher capacity retention rate(97.1%vs.79.6%)after 150 cycles and a superior rate capacity(87 mAh·g^(-1)vs.58 mAh·g^(-1))at a 5 C current density than the pristine NCM under a high cut-off voltage of 4.5 V.This work suggests a clever way to utilize residual lithium to form functional coatings in situ to improve the lithium storage performance of high-voltage medium-nickel low-cobalt cathode materials.Yabin Shen Yingqiang Wu Dongyu Zhang Yao Liang Dongming Yin Limin Wang Licheng Wang Jingchao Cao Yong Cheng 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:1
