| 1 | Development of low-coherence high-power laser drivers for inertial confinement fusion显示文摘The use of low-coherence light is expected to be one of the effective ways to suppress or even eliminate the laser–plasma instabilities that arise in attempts to achieve inertial confinement fusion. In this paper,a review of low-coherence high-power laser drivers and related key techniques is first presented.Work at typical low-coherence laser facilities, including Gekko XII,PHEBUS,Pharos III,and Kanal-2 is described. The many key techniques that are used in the research and development of low-coherence laser drivers are described and analyzed, including low-coherence source generation, amplification, harmonic conversion, and beam smoothing of low-coherence light. Then, recent progress achieved by our group in research on a broadband low-coherence laser driver is presented.During the development of our low-coherence high-power laser facility,we have proposed and implemented many key techniques for working with low-coherence light, including source generation, efficient amplification and propagation, harmonic conversion, beam smoothing, and precise beam control.Based on a series of technological breakthroughs,a kilojoule low-coherence laser driver named Kunwu with a coherence time of only 300 fs has been built, and the first round of physical experiments has been completed. This high-power laser facility provides not only a demonstration and verification platform for key techniques and system integration of a low-coherence laser driver, but also a new type of experimental platform for research into, for example,high-energy-density physics and,in particular, laser–plasma interactions. | Yanqi Gao Yong Cui Lailin Ji Daxing Rao Xiaohui Zhao Fujian Li Dong Liu Wei Feng Lan Xia Jiani Liu Haitao Shi Pengyuan Du Jia Liu Xiaoli Li Tao Wang Tianxiong Zhang Chong Shan Yilin Hua Weixin Ma Xun Sun Xianfeng Chen Xiuguang Huang Jian Zhu Wenbing Pei Zhan Sui Sizu Fu | 2020 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2020,5,6: | 1 |

| 3 | Assessment of Agricultural Drought Vulnerability Based on Crop Growth Stages:A Case Study of Huaibei Plain,China显示文摘Climate change can lead to and intensify drought disasters.Quantifying the vulnerability of disaster-affected elements is significant for understanding the mechanisms that transform drought intensity into eventual loss. This study proposed a growth-stage-based drought vulnerability index(GDVI)of soybean using meteorological, groundwater, land use,and field experiment data and crop growth model simulation. The CROPGRO-Soybean model was used to simulate crop growth and water deficit.Four growth stages were considered since the sensitivity of soybean to drought is strictly related to the growth stage. The GDVI was applied to the Huaibei Plain,Anhui Province,China, with the goal of quantifying the spatiotemporal characteristics of soybean drought vulnerability in typical years and growth stages. The results show that:(1)The sensitivity of leaf-related parameters exceeded that of other parameters during the vegetative growth stage, whereas the top weight and grain yield showed a higher sensitivity in the reproductive growth stage;(2)A semi-logarithmic law can describe the relationship between the drought sensitivity indicators and the GDVI during the four growth stages. The pod-filling phase is the most vulnerable stage for water deficit and with the highest loss upper limit(over 70%);(3)The 2001 and 2002 seasons were the driest time during 1997-2006.Fuyang and Huainan Cities were more vulnerable to drought than other regions on the Huaibei Plain in 2001,while Huaibei and Suzhou Cities were the most susceptible areas in 2002.The results could provide effective decision support for the categorization of areas vulnerable to droughts. | Yanqi Wei Juliang Jin Haichao Li Yuliang Zhou Yi Cui Nii Amarquaye Commey Yuliang Zhang Shangming Jiang | 2023 | International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2023,14,2: | 0 |
| 4 | Simultaneous degradation of sulfadiazine and dissolved organic matter based on low-impact development facilities显示文摘Sulfadiazine(SD)is a common antibiotic administered to treat bacterial infections in livestock, and its fate andmigration are greatly affected by dissolved organicmatter(DOM).The soil infiltration system[a typical low-impact development(LID)facility]can significantly alterDOMproperties during runoff pollution, thus affecting the complexation of SDwithDOM.Here, the binding characteristics of different DOM components and SD in the soil infiltration system were explored using spectroscopic techniques(excitation–emission matrices, parallel factor analysis, and synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy).Combined with the weakening of DOM fluorescence intensity and 78.63%reduction in mean SD concentration following treatment, synchronous degradation may have occurred. The binding sequence of SD and DOM fluorophores was further explored using two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy.Effluent DOM showed greater sensitivity to SD and more binding sites than influent DOM.Moreover, hydrophobic protein-like substances exhibited higher log K_(M) values than other fluorescent components, indicating that protein-like components play significant roles in SD complexation. The soil percolation system improved the complexation stability and binding sequence of fulvic-like substances. Thus,SD–DOM can be intercepted and degraded using LID facilities to reduce the risk of SD in aquatic environments. | Donghai Yuan Siyu Xiong Chenling Yan Linxiao Zhai Yanqi Cui Yingying Kou | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,8: | 0 |
