1On a nonlinear elliptic problem with critical potential in R^2显示文摘Consider the existence of nontrivial solutions of homogeneous Dirichlet problem for a nonlinear elliptic equation with the critical potential in R2. By establishing a weighted inequality with the best constant, determine the critical potential in R2, and study the eigenvalues of Laplace equation with the critical potential. By the Pohozaev identity of a solution with a singular point and the Cauchy-Kovalevskaya theorem, obtain the nonexistence result of solutions with singular points to the nonlinear elliptic equation. 2Modification strategies on transition metal-based electrocatalysts for efficient water splitting显示文摘Electrocatalytic water splitting driven by electrocatalysts is recognized as a promising strategy to generate clean hydrogen fuel.Searching and constructing high-efficient and low-cost electrocatalysts is vital in the practical applications of electrocatalytic water splitting.Although transition metal-based materials have been considered as promising electrocatalysts,the satisfactory activities are usually not built on the bulk materials,but strongly relying on elaborately designing these electrocatalysts.Herein,the recent theoretical and experimental progress on modification strategies to improve the intrinsic activities is summarized,especially including element doping,phase engineering,structure cooperation,interface engineering,vacancy engineering,strain engineering and self-functionalization.Finally,the future opportunities and challenges on these modification strategies are also proposed.Overall,it is anticipated that these modification strategies offer some new understandings on rationally constructing non-noble electrocatalysts for efficient electrocatalytic water splitting.Yaotian Yan Pengcheng Wang Jinghuang Lin Jian Cao Junlei Qi 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:4
3Two Entropy-Based Criteria Design for Signal Complexity Measures显示文摘Signal complexity denotes the intricate patterns hidden in the complicated dynamics merging from nonlinear system concerned.The chaotic signal complexity measuring in principle combines both the information entropy of the data under test and the geometry feature embedded.Starting from the information source of Shannon's entropy,combined with understanding the merits and demerits of 0-1 test for chaos,we propose new compression entropy criteria for identifying chaotic signal complexity in periodic,quasi-periodic or chaotic state,in mapping results in 3s-graph with significant different shape of good or bad spring and in Construction creep(CC)rate with distinguishable value-range of[0,7%],(7%,50%]or(50%,84%].The employed simulation cases are Lorenz,Li and He equations'evolutions,under key information extracting rules of both two-layer compression functions and self-similarity calcu-lation,compared with methods of 0-1 test for chaos,Lyapunov exponent and Spectral Entropy complexity.The research value of this work will provide deep thinking of the concise featureexpressions of chaotic signal complexity measure in feature domain.CAI Jinwei LI Yaotian LI Wenshi LI Lei 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,6:3
4Metamaterial-enabled arbitrary on-chip spatial mode manipulation显示文摘On-chip spatial mode operation,represented as mode-division multiplexing(MDM),can support high-capacity data communications and promise superior performance in various systems and numerous applications from optical sensing to nonlinear and quantum optics.However,the scalability of state-of-the-art mode manipulation techniques is significantly hindered not only by the particular mode-order-oriented design strategy but also by the inherent limitations of possibly achievable mode orders.Recently,metamaterials capable of providing subwavelength-scale control of optical wavefronts have emerged as an attractive alternative to manipulate guided modes with compact footprints and broadband functionalities.Herein,we propose a universal yet efficient design framework based on the topological metamaterial building block(BB),enabling the excitation of arbitrary high-order spatial modes in silicon waveguides.By simply programming the layout of multiple fully etched dielectric metamaterial perturbations with predefined mathematical formulas,arbitrary high-order mode conversion and mode exchange can be simultaneously realized with uniform and competitive performance.The extraordinary scalability of the metamaterial BB frame is experimentally benchmarked by a record high-order mode operator up to the twentieth.As a proof of conceptual application,an 8-mode MDM data transmission of 28-GBaud 16-QAM optical signals is also verified with an aggregate data rate of 813 Gb/s(7%FEC).This user-friendly metamaterial BB concept marks a quintessential breakthrough for comprehensive manipulation of spatial light on-chip by breaking the long-standing shackles on the scalability,which may open up fascinating opportunities for complex photonic functionalities previously inaccessible.Jinlong Xiang Zhiyuan Tao Xingfeng Li Yaotian Zhao Yu He Xuhan Guo Yikai Su 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,7:2
5All-optical silicon microring spiking neuron显示文摘With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and machine learning, brain-inspired neuromorphic photonics has emerged as an extremely attractive computing paradigm, promising orders-of-magnitude higher computing speed and energy efficiency compared to its electronic counterparts. Tremendous efforts have been devoted to photonic hardware implementations of mimicking the nonlinear neuron-like spiking response and the linear synapse-like weighting functionality. Here, we systematically characterize the spiking dynamics of a passive silicon microring neuron. The research of self-pulsation and excitability reveals that the silicon microring can function as an all-optical class Ⅱ resonate-and-fire neuron. The typical refractory period has been successfully suppressed by configuring the pump power above the perturbation power, hence allowing the microring neuron to operate with a speed up to roughly sub-gigahertz. Additionally, temporal integration and controllable inhibition regimes are experimentally demonstrated for the first time, to the best of our knowledge. 6Realizing the air brazing of ZrO_(2) ceramics through Al metal显示文摘The exploration towards cost-effective filler metal for ceramics joining has always been the key issues for ceramics joining.Herein,we reveal that the Al metal prefers to spread on the ZrO_(2) based ceramic under the air heating condition,due to the geometric limit effects by in-situ formed dense Al2O3 surface.Inspired by this,the joining of ZrO_(2) based ceramics was realized in air with Al metal as filler,through the diffusion of Al towards ceramic side.The Al element can induce obvious interfacial bonding effect on Al2O3 layer and ZrO_(2) ceramic,where the hybridization among the Al-p,Zr-d and O-p orbitals plays a key role.The in-situ formed Al2O3 layer on Al filler surface is vital for forming the fine interface(shear strength of~36 MPa),which results in the relief of lattice mismatch and peak stress at ceramic-filler metal transition interface.Yaotian Yan Baishen Liu Tianxiong Xu Liang Qiao Shaohua Qin Jian Cao Junlei Qi 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,3:2
7Chaos Criteria Design Based on Modified Sign Functions with One or Three-Threshold显示文摘The complexity measures of chaotic or periodic signals are perpetual topics of interest to data scientists. This work adheres to the framework of the traditional 0-1 test for chaos and replaces sine and cosine functions by modified sign functions. The compressive mapping rules chosen are one-threshold of three-value or three-threshold of five-value. In new criteria for chaos in forms of the 3s plot and Ks metric compared with 0-1 test results, the periodic state of data features a short beeline instead of a big ring in the pq plot and signs the nearest zero mark, while the chaotic state signs a simple curve instead of a random-walking shape in the pq plot, and shows the nearest one mark. By computing the Lorenz equation evolution under the contrast tests of the Poincare section and Lyapunov index, we visualize a new chaoscriteria design in symbolic dynamics and data compression principles, and our work may lay the foundation for further expressing the chaotic appearance of novel signals deep into future brainets.WU Senlin LI Yaotian LI Wenshi LI Lei 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,2:2
