| 1 | Effect of Lichong decoction on expression of Bcl-2 and Bcl-2-associated X protein mRNAs in hysteromyoma model rat显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To study on effects of Lichong decoction on expression of apoptosis-controlling genes,Bcl-2 and Bcl-2-associated X protein(Bax) mRNAs in hysteromyoma tissue of the hysteromyoma model rat.METHODS:Fifty Wistar female rats were randomly divided into a normal group,a model group,a Lichong decoction group,a Guizifuling capsule group and a Mifepristone group.The hysteromyoma rat model was established by intraperitoneal injection of exogenous estrin and progestogens.Pathological examination of uterine tissue,uterine coefficient and uterine transverse diameter were made under optic microscope and expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax mRNAs in uterine tissue in the groups were detected with real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR) technique.RESULTS:After treatment,under microscope it was found that in the Lichong decoction group myometrium thinned,muscle fiber slightly overgrowth or long and thin,regular arrangement,inserting phenomenon of inner circular muscle and external longitudinal muscle was occasionally or not seen in the Lichong decoction group.The uterine coefficient and the uterine transverse diameter significantly decreased(P<0.01),and Bcl-2 mRNA expression significantly decreased(P<0.01) and Bax mRNA expression significantly increased in hysteromyoma tissue(P<0.01) in the Lichong decoction group as compared with the model group.CONCLUSION:Therapeutic effects of Lichong decoction on hysteromyoma is related with decrease of Bcl-2 mRNA expression and increase of Bax mRNA expression. | Donghua Li Xin Xu Ruiya Qian Jianguo Geng Yan Zhang Xiaolei Xie Yasong Wang Xiaoli Zou | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,2: | 24 |

| 3 | Lichong decoction reduces Matrix Metalloproteinases-2 expression but increases Tissue Inhibitors of Matrix Metalloproteinases-2 ex-pression in a rat model of uterine leiomyoma显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of Lichong decoction(LD) on expression of matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2) and metalloproteinase-2(TIMP-2) in a rat model of uterine leiomyoma(UL).METHODS:UL was induced in rats using exogenous estrogen and progesterone.LD was administered(p.o.) for 4 weeks,and mifepristone(RU-486)used as a control.To observe the effect of LD on the uterine coefficient and uterine transverse diameter,a radioimmunoassay method was used to detect serum levels of sex hormones.Light microscopic analyses of pathologic changes in the tissues of UL rats were evaluated.Expression of the proteins of matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs) and tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases(TIMPs) in uterine tissues was assessed by immunohistochemical staining and western blotting.RESULTS:A UL model in rats was established successfully.LD reduced uterine weight,uterine coefficient,and uterine transverse diameter compared with untreated controls.LD reduced levels of estradiol,progesterone,follicle-stimulating hormone,and luteinizing hormone in our UL models.LD improved the pathologic condition of uterine muscle.Expression of MMP-2 protein decreased to varying extents in LD-treated groups,but TIMP-2 levels were enhanced.LD appears to reduce MMP-2 expression and increase TIMP-2 expression in UL tissue.CONCLUSION:These data suggest that the mechanism of action of LD on ULs may involve reduction of MMP-2 expression and increase in TIMP-2 expression in rats. | Wang Yasong Li Donghua Xu Xin Qian Ruiya Zhang Yalan Huang Yuhua Geng Jianguo Zou Xiaoli Han Hon-gjuan Zhang Wufang | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,4: | 12 |

| 6 | Stationary flow fields prediction of variable physical domain based on proper orthogonal decomposition and kriging surrogate model显示文摘In this paper a new flow field prediction method which is independent of the governing equations, is developed to predict stationary flow fields of variable physical domain. Predicted flow fields come from linear superposition of selected basis modes generated by proper orthogonal decomposition(POD). Instead of traditional projection methods, kriging surrogate model is used to calculate the superposition coefficients through building approximate function relationships between profile geometry parameters of physical domain and these coefficients. In this context,the problem which troubles the traditional POD-projection method due to viscosity and compressibility has been avoided in the whole process. Moreover, there are no constraints for the inner product form, so two forms of simple ones are applied to improving computational efficiency and cope with variable physical domain problem. An iterative algorithm is developed to determine how many basis modes ranking front should be used in the prediction. | 7 | Characteristics of ozone pollution and the sensitivity to precursors during early summer in central plain, China显示文摘In this study,we conducted an observation experiment from May 1 to June 30,2018 in Zhengzhou,a major city in central China,where ground ozone(O3)pollution has become serious in recent years.The concentrations of O3 and its precursors,as well as H2O_(2) and meteorological data were obtained from the urban site(Yanchang,YC),suburban(Zhengzhou University,ZZU)and background sites(Ganglishuiku,GLSK).Result showed that the rates of O3 concentration exceeded Chinese National Air Quality Standard GradeⅡ(93.3 ppbv)were 59.0%,52.5%,and 55.7%at the above three sites with good consistency,respectively,indicating that O3 pollution is a regional problem in Zhengzhou.The daily peak O3 appeared at 15:00-16:00,which was opposite to VOCs,NOx,and CO and consistent with H2O_(2).The exhaustive statistical analysis of meteorological factors and chemical effects on O3 formation at YC was advanced.The high concentration of precursors,high temperature,low relative humidity,and moderately high wind speed together with the wind direction dominated by south and southeast wind contribute to urban O3 episodes in Zhengzhou.O3 formation analysis showed that reactive alkenes such as isoprene and cis-2-butene contributed most to O3 formation.The VOCs/NOx ratio and smog production model were used to determine O3-VOC-NOx sensitivity.The O3 formation in Zhengzhou during early summer was mainly under VOC-limited and transition regions alternately,which implies that the simultaneous emission reduction of alkenes and NOx is effective in reducing O3 pollution in Zhengzhou. | Yasong Li Shasha Yin Shijie YU Ling Bai Xudong Wang Xuan Lu Shuangliang Ma | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,1: | 10 |
| 8 | Global aerodynamic design optimization based on data dimensionality reduction显示文摘In aerodynamic optimization, global optimization methods such as genetic algorithms are preferred in many cases because of their advantage on reaching global optimum. However,for complex problems in which large number of design variables are needed, the computational cost becomes prohibitive, and thus original global optimization strategies are required. To address this need, data dimensionality reduction method is combined with global optimization methods, thus forming a new global optimization system, aiming to improve the efficiency of conventional global optimization. The new optimization system involves applying Proper Orthogonal Decomposition(POD) in dimensionality reduction of design space while maintaining the generality of original design space. Besides, an acceleration approach for samples calculation in surrogate modeling is applied to reduce the computational time while providing sufficient accuracy. The optimizations of a transonic airfoil RAE2822 and the transonic wing ONERA M6 are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed new optimization system. In both cases, we manage to reduce the number of design variables from 20 to 10 and from 42 to 20 respectively. | 9 | A fatigue damage model for rock salt considering the effects of loading frequency and amplitude显示文摘With the large-scale construction of underground gas storage in salt deposit, much more efforts have been made to assess the fatigue properties of rock salt. The fatigue damage processes the primary, steady,and accelerated phases, which is similar to the axial irrecoverable deformation compiled from the loci of the loading cycles of rock salt. The cumulative fatigue damage increases with a decrease in the loading frequency and with an increase in the stress amplitude within the range tested. To take into account the effects of loading frequency and amplitude on the fatigue behavior of rock salt subjected to cyclic loading, a low cycle fatigue damage model was exclusively established combined with the Manson–Coffin formula. | 16 | Radiation belt electron scattering by whistler-mode chorus in the Jovian magnetosphere: Importance of ambient and wave parameters显示文摘Whistler-mode chorus waves are regarded as an important acceleration mechanism contributing to the formation of relativistic and ultra-relativistic electrons in the Jovian radiation belts. Quantitative determination of the chorus wave driven electron scattering effect in the Jovian magnetosphere requires detailed information of both ambient magnetic field and plasma density and wave spectral property, which however cannot be always readily acquired from observations of existed missions to Jupiter. We therefore perform a comprehensive analysis of the sensitivity of chorus induced electron scattering rates to ambient magnetospheric and wave parameters in the Jovian radiation belts to elaborate to which extent the diffusion coefficients depend on a number of key input parameters. It is found that quasi-linear electron scattering rates by chorus can be strongly affected by the ambient magnetic field intensity, the wave latitudinal coverage, and the peak frequency and bandwidth of the wave spectral distribution in the Jovian magnetosphere, while they only rely slightly on the background plasma density profile and the peak wave normal angle, especially when the wave emissions are confined at lower latitudes. Given the chorus wave amplitude, chorus induced electron scattering rates strongly depend on Jovian L-shell to exhibit a tendency approximately proportional to L_J^3. | 17 | On the source of the quasi-Carrington Rotation periodic magnetic variations on the Martian surface: InSight observations and modeling显示文摘In a recent paper(Luo H et al.,2022),we found that the peak amplitudes of diurnal magnetic variations,measured during martian days(sols)at the InSight landing site,exhibited quasi Carrington-Rotation(qCR)periods at higher eigenmodes of the natural orthogonal components(NOC);these results were based on~664 sols of magnetic field measurements.However,the source of these periodic variations is still unknown.In this paper we introduce the neutral-wind driven ionospheric dynamo current model(e.g.,Lillis et al.,2019)to investigate the source.Four candidates-the draped IMF,electron density/plasma density,the neutral densities,and the electron temperature in the ionosphere with artificial qCR periodicity,are applied in the modeling to find the main factor likely to be causing the observed surface magnetic field variations that exhibit the same qCR periods.Results show that the electron density/plasma density,which controls the total conductivity in the dynamo region,appears to account for the greatest part of the surface qCR variations;its contribution reaches about 67.6%.The draped IMF,the neutral densities,and the electron temperature account,respectively,for only about 12.9%,10.3%,and 9.2%of the variations.Our study implies that the qCR magnetic variations on the Martian surface are due primarily to variations of the dynamo currents caused by the electron density variations.We suggest also that the timevarying fields with the qCR period could be used to probe the Martian interior's electrical conductivity structure to a depth of at least 700 km. | Hao Luo AiMin Du ShaoHua Zhang YaSong Ge Ying Zhang ShuQuan Sun Lin Zhao Lin Tian SongYan Li | 2022 | Earth and Planetary Physics2022,6,3: | 2 |
| 18 | Evolution Characteristics and Influence Factors of Deep Groundwater Depression Cone in North China Plain,China——A Case Studyin Cangzhou Region显示文摘The North China Plain(NCP) is one of the global hotspots of groundwater depletion, groundwater is almost the only source of water for agricultural, industrial and drinking water in this region. After long-term's over-exploitation of deep groundwater, there appeared several deep groundwater depression cones, such as Cangzhou cone, Dezhou cone, Hengshui cone, Tianjin cone, etc., in which the Cangzhou cone is one of the typical cones for its special geography and hydrogeology conditions. In this study, the authors intended to analyze the evolution characteristics and influence factors of deep groundwater depression cone in Cangzhou region, especially the No. III aquifer depression cone, which is the main exploitation zone in this region. Analysis of the evolution of the groundwater depression cone of the No. III aquifer group in Cangzhou region showed that this process can be divided into four stages, namely, development, stable development, rapid expansion, and gradual recovery. The shape and evolution characteristics of the depression cone at different stages are described by analyzing the evolution of the-30,-40, and-50 contours of the groundwater table, for example the closed area of water table contour of-50 m has been enlarged from 95 km2 in 1985 to 6 528.5 km2 in 2005. The dominant factors that affect the evolution characteristics at different stages are proposed. The results showed that relatively long dry periods with less precipitation, special geological and hydrogeological conditions, and sharply increased water consumption for industrial and agricultural development are the main factors that cause the formation of deep groundwater depression cones.
