1A statistical investigation of pre-earthquake ionospheric TEC anomalies显示文摘Previous researches show that the total electron content (TEC) in the ionospheric exhibits anomalous disturbances a few days or hours prior to earthquakes. The paper used TEC data from Internet GPS Service (IGS), and examined 50 earthquakes of magnitude Ms≥7.0 during 2007-2009 worldwide. 2Ionospheric disturbances associated with the 2015 M7.8 Nepal earthquake显示文摘Based on the total electron content(TEC) derived from Global Positioning System(GPS) observations of the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China(CMONOC) and the Global Ionosphere Map(GIM)from the Center for Orbit Determination in Europe(CODE),we detected and analyzed the ionospheric variations during the 2015 M7.8 Nepal earthquake(including the pre-earthquake ionospheric anomalies and coseismic ionospheric disturbances(CIDs) following the main shock).The analysis of vertical total electron content(VTEC) time series shows that the large-scale ionospheric anomalies appeared near the epicenter two days prior to the earthquake.Moreover,the pre-earthquake ionospheric anomalies were also observed in the geomagnetically conjugated region.In view of solar-terrestrial environment,the pre-earthquake ionospheric anomalies could be associated with the Nepal earthquake.In addition,we also detected the CIDs through the high-frequency GPS observation stations.The CIDs had obvious oscillated waveforms with the peak-to-peak disturbance amplitudes of about 1 TECu and 0.4 TECu,which propagated approximately with the horizontal velocities of 877 ± 75 m/s and 319 ± 30 m/s,respectively.The former is triggered directly by the acoustic waves which originated from the energy release of the earthquake near the epicenter,while the latter could be stimulated by the acoustic-gravity waves from the partial transformation of the acoustic waves.Yiyan Zhou Jian Yang Fuying Zhu Fanfan Su Liangchen Hu Wenbo Zhai 2017Geodesy and Geodynamics2017,8,4:4

4Temporal and spatial characteristics of VTEC anomalies before Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake显示文摘GPS and the COD VTEC data were studied in search of ionospheric VTEC changes in space and time that might be associated with the Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake on 12 May,2008.The result shows several significant anomalous decreases at 12:00 UT-16:00 UT on April 29 and an anomalously increase at 14:00 UT-18:00 UT on May 9.The anomalies had two humps,that were located on both sides of the geomagnetic equator and had a tendency of drifting towards the equator.Since the observed anomalies cannot be attributed to any other causes and since they occurred close to the time of the earthquake,we consider them to be possibly premonitory to the earthquake.Fuying Zhu Yun Wu Jian Lin Yiyan Zhou 2010Geodesy and Geodynamics2010,1,1:2

6New insight into the design of highly dispersed Pt supported CeO_(2)-TiO_(2) catalysts with superior activity for VOCs low-temperature removal显示文摘A series of CeO_(2)-TiO_(2)mixed oxides supports with various Ce/Ti molar ratio were synthesized by modified coprecipitation method. The corresponding Pt loaded(0.5 wt% Pt) catalysts were prepared by electronless deposition method and evaluated for the deep oxidation of n-hexane as a model VOCs. The results show that the CeO_(2)and TiOxnanoparticles can highly disperse into each other and form Ce_(2)Ti_(2)O_(7)solid solution with appropriate Ce/Ti molar ratio, which significantly improves their redox ability by enhancing the interaction between CeO_(2)and TiO_(x). The dispersibility of Pt species can also be adjusted by altering the Ce/Ti molar ratio, and Pt/CeTi-2/1 catalyst with Ce/Ti molar ratio of 2:1 exhibits the best Pt dispersibility that Pt species mainly exist as Pt single atoms. The high dispersion of Pt species in the Pt/CeO_(2)-TiO_(2)catalysts would promote the catalytic activity of VOCs oxidation with low T90% values(1000 ppm, GHSV = 15,000 h^(-1)), such as for n-hexane degradation with T90% of 139℃. The characterizations reveal that the superior activity is mainly related to possessing the more Pt2+species,adsorbed oxygen species and higher low-temperature reducibility owing to the strong interaction between highly dispersed Pt species and CeO_(2)-TiO_(2)as well as the promoted migration of lattice oxygen by the formation of more Ce_(2)Ti_(2)O_(7)species. 7Ionospheric anomaly before the 2011 Tohoku Mw 9.0 earthquake显示文摘Using Computerized Ionospheric Tomography(CIT) in combination with GPS observations from the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China(CMONOC),this study reconstructed the electron density distributions over China before the 2011 Tohoku Mw 9.0 earthquake and discovered a prominent ionospheric anomaly on March 8,2011.Analysis of the solar-terrestrial space environment around the time of the Tohoku earthquake indicated that the March 8 ionospheric anomaly was likely related to the earthquake.Finally,the paper discusses the drift of the ionospheric anomaly,which was inferred from the anomaly being observed by GPS reference sites in China.Yang Jian Zhou Yiyan Su Fanfan 2012Geodesy and Geodynamics2012,3,3:1
8Characteristics of isostatic gravity anomaly in Sichuan-Yunnan region,China显示文摘Sichuan-Yunnan region in China,a tectonic transition belt where earthquakes occurred frequently and intensely,has a distinct variation characteristic of gradient zone of Bouguer gravity anomaly(BGA).Many deep faults and epicenters of severe earthquake scatter along the BGA gradient zones.Here we apply two forward models(Airy model and Vening Meinesz model) of isostatic gravity mechanisms(local versus regional) in this region to calculated the isostatic gravity anomaly(IGA).Afterwards,the relationship between IGA and distribution of faults as well as seismicity is also illustrated.The IGA results show that the two models are similar and most parts of the study area are in an isostatic state.Most featured faults are distributed along the steep anomaly gradient zones;earthquakes tend to occur in the non-isostatic area and steep gradient belt of IGA.The distribution of root thickness based on regional mechanism can be associated with the main trend of BGA variation.The regional mechanism is more plausible and closer to the reality because of its relatively further consideration of the horizontal forces derived from adjacent particles in the crust.Then we analyze the effect of isostasy on the tectonic movements and find that the isostatic adjustment is not the main cause of the continuous uplift process of Longmenshan Mountain fault zone,which is due to the Indian-Eurasian continental collision.Bingcheng Liu Yiyan Zhou Guangliang Yang 2017Geodesy and Geodynamics2017,8,4:0

12Seasonal features of topside scale height based on COSMIC measurements显示文摘Plasma scale height is an important parameter of topside ionosphere and contains information about ionospheric physics and dynamic. We investigated the seasonal features of vertical scale height with the electron density profiles from COSMIC. We found that vertical scale height around 660 km at middle latitudes generally has larger values in winter than in summer and had similar structures at March Equinox and September Equinox no matter daytime or nighttime. Bands of large vertical scale height appear at night around ±36° magnetic latitude in all seasons except summer for low solar activity, and mostly appear in winter for moderate solar activity. 14Source model of 2016 Mw6.6 Aketao earthquake,Xinjiang derived from Sentinel-1 InSAR observation显示文摘On 25 November 2016(14:24:30 UTC), an Mw6.6 earthquake occurred in Aketao county of Xinjiang. We derived the coseismic deformation field of the earthquake from ESA's Sentinel-1 B images and inverted the fault geometry and slip distribution by using a homogenous half-space elastic model and the Steepest Decent Method(SDM) program. The slip model shows that the rupture plane is about 68 km in length and 40 km in width and has an average strike of 105.2°SE and an average dip of 76.0°S. The average amount of slip is-0.16 m and the maximum amount of slip is 0.59 m. The estimated seismic moment is 1.31 × 10^(19) N·m and the corresponding moment magnitude is Mw6.68. The dislocation is mainly distributed in the depth of 5-22 km, where the rupture center is located at 39.170 E, 74.38°N, and a depth of-8.8 km, so this earthquake is a shallow earthquake. In terms of the tectonic settings, the earthquake was triggered by the release of residual stresses on the seismogenic Muji fault. The ruptures were stimulated simultaneously by the main shock, which made the slip distribution pattern of a strike-slip fault with a double fracture. 15Application of ionospheric tomography inversion to GPS data to study ionospheric electron-density distribution over China显示文摘Temporal variations of ionospheric electron-density (IED) distributions over China are inversed by applying the computerized ionospheric tomography (CIT) technique to dual-frequency GPS data of the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China (CMONOC) in 2003. Characteristics of the diurnal variations of IED, especially the development and disappearance of the equatorial anomaly structure and the variations of the ionospheric vertical structure, are investigated. The result shows that it is feasible to sound and investigate the temporal-spatial variations of IED by using CIT technique and the high-accuracy GPS data, but the accuracy and reliability are limited by insufficiency of GPS data, reconstruction methods, and CIT models.Wen Debao Zhou Yiyan 2011Geodesy and Geodynamics2011,2,1:0
