| 1 | Enhancement of Aggression Induced by Isolation Rearing is Associated with a Lack of Central Serotonin显示文摘Isolation rearing(IR) enhances aggressive behavior, and the central serotonin(5-hydroxytryptamine,5-HT) system has been linked to IR-induced aggression.However, whether the alteration of central serotonin is the cause or consequence of enhanced aggression is still unknown. In the present study, using mice deficient in central serotonin Tph2-/-and Lmx1 b-/-, we examined the association between central serotonin and aggression with or without social isolation. We demonstrated that central serotonergic neurons are critical for the enhanced aggression after IR. 5-HT depletion in wild-type mice increased aggression. On the other hand, application of 5-HT in Lmx1 b-/-mice inhibited the enhancement of aggression under social isolation conditions. Dopamine was downregulated in Lmx1 b-/-mice. Similar to 5-HT, L-DOPA decreased aggression in Lmx1 b-/-mice. | 4 | Bauschinger-Like Effect of AZ31 Magnesium Alloy Wide Sheet During the Straightening Process显示文摘The Bauschinger-like effect, which showed up in the straightening process of the AZ31 magnesium alloy wide sheet, was investigated through the multi-pass discrete three-point bending–unloading–bending(BUB) experiments. The stress variable, anisotropy, and asymmetry of tension and compression on the straightening process were corresponding to the Bauschingerlike effect. The Bauschinger-like effect in the initial, intermediate, and end of the straightening process was dominated by the twinning, detwinning, and dislocation induced by pyramidal < c + a > slip, respectively. Also, they were responsible for the transformation of the Bauschinger stress parameter(BSP) and Bauschinger energy parameter(BEP). | 5 | High-frequency dielectric properties of BSTO ceramic prepared with hydrothermal synthesized SrTiO_3 and BaTiO_3 powders显示文摘BSTO dielectric ceramic was prepared from SrTiO3 and BaTiO3 powders synthesized by hydrothermal method,as well as from Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 powder synthesized by conventional solid-state reaction. The former can be sintered at a relatively low temperature of 1120 ℃. Characterization by SEM showed that the grain shapes of both ceramics are cubical,though the grain size of the former is much smaller. Dielectric constants measured at 20 ℃ were shown to vary with frequency in the range from 1 kHz to 2 MHz and dc bias field,and further that the dielectric loss of the former to be less than 2 × 10-3 in the frequency range of 20 kHz to 1 MHz,much smaller than that of the latter sample. For the former,temperature dependence of dielectric constant is much flatter and there exists an extended phase transition diffusion covering a wide temperature range of Curie temperature Tc. The smaller grain size of the former depresses the dc bias electrical field dependence of dielectric constant.
