1Combination-based nanomaterial designs in single and double dimensions for improved electrodes in lithium ion-batteries and faradaic supercapacitors显示文摘In the past decade, researchers in the fields of energy production have concentrated on the improvement of new energy storage devices. Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) and faradaic supercapacitors(FSs) have attracted special attention as a result of the rapid development of new electrode nanomaterials, especially hybrid nanomaterials, which can meet the increasingly higher requirements for future energy, such as the capability to deliver high-power performance and an extremely long life cycle. In these hybrid nanostructures, a series of synergistic effects and unique properties arising from the combination of individual components are a major factor leading to improved charge/discharge capability, energy density, and system lifetime. 12How does ethanol induce apoptotic cell death of SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cells?显示文摘A body of evidence suggests that ethanol can lead to damage of neuronal cells. However, the mechanism underlying the ethanol-induced damage of neuronal cells remains unclear. The role of mitogen-activated protein kinases in ethanol-induced damage was investigated in SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cells. 3-[4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide cell viability assay, DNA fragmentation detection, and flow cytometric analysis showed that ethanol induced apoptotic cell death and cell cycle arrest, characterized by increased caspase-3 activity, DNA fragmentation, nuclear disruption, and G1 arrest of cell cycle of the SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cells. In addition, western blot analysis indicated that ethanol induced a lasting increase in c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase activity and a transient increase in p38 kinase activity of the neuroblastoma cells. c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase or p38 kinase inhibitors significantly reduced the ethanol-induced cell death. Ethanol also increased p53 phosphorylation, followed by an increase in p21 tumor suppressor protein and a decrease in phospho-Rb (retinoblastoma) protein, leading to alterations in the expressions and activity of cyclin dependent protein kinases. Our results suggest that ethanol mediates apoptosis of SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cells by activating p53-related cell cycle arrest possibly through activation of the c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase-related cell death pathway.Yong Moon Yongil Kwon Shun Yu 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,20:0
13乙醇通过激活JNK和p38K引起成神经瘤细胞死亡显示文摘目的研究乙醇引起SK-N-SH成神经瘤细胞损伤的机制。方法采用MTT法检测细胞死亡率。DNA片段分析法、DAPI核染色及caspase-3活性分析检测细胞凋亡。免疫印迹分析JNK和p38K的表达。结果乙醇引起SK-N-SH细胞死亡率增加,该作用呈剂量依赖性。乙醇引起细胞发生凋亡样变化,表现为caspase-3激活、核DNA断裂及核碎裂。乙醇引起细胞死亡的机制部分与激活JNK和p38K通路有关。结论乙醇通过激活JNK和p38K通路引起SK-N-SH成神经瘤细胞死亡。文勇 Yongil KWON 于顺 2012首都医科大学学报2012,33,6:0
