1Abnormal expression of bHLH3 disrupts a flavonoid homeostasis network,causing differences in pigment composition among mulberry fruits显示文摘Mulberry fruits with high concentrations of anthocyanins are favored by consumers because of their good taste,bright color,and high nutritional value.However,neither the regulatory mechanism controlling flavonoid biosynthesis in mulberry nor the molecular basis of different mulberry fruit colors is fully understood.Here,we report that a flavonoid homeostasis network comprising activation and feedback regulation mechanisms determines mulberry fruit color.In vitro and in vivo assays showed that MYBA-bHLH3-TTG1 regulates the biosynthesis of anthocyanins,while TT2L1 and TT2L2 work with bHLH3 or GL3 and form a MYB-bHLH-WD40(MBW)complex with TTG1 to regulate proanthocyanidin(PA)synthesis.Functional and expression analyses showed that bHLH3 is a key regulator of the regulatory network controlling mulberry fruit coloration and that MYB4 is activated by MBW complexes and participates in negative feedback control of the regulatory network to balance the accumulation of anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins.Our research demonstrates that the interaction between bHLH3 and MYB4 in the homeostasis regulatory network ensures that the fruits accumulate desirable flavonoids and that this network is stable in pigmentrich mulberry fruits.However,the abnormal expression of bHLH3 disrupts the balance of the network and redirects flavonoid metabolic flux in pale-colored fruits,resulting in differences in the levels and proportions of anthocyanins,flavones,and flavonols among differently colored mulberry fruits(red,yellow,and white).The results of our study reveal the molecular basis of the diversity of mulberry fruit colors.Han Li Zhen Yang Qiwei Zeng Shibo Wang Yiwei Luo Yan Huang Youchao Xin Ningjia He 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:8

3Microsurgical resection of craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle via an improved transventricular approach显示文摘Background Craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle is difficult to treat and its therapeutic regimens and operative approaches have been controversial. This study was undertaken to probe indications for microsurgical resection of craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle via an improved transventricular approach, its surgical procedures and therapeutic effects, and prevention of postoperative complications.Methods Fifty-one patients with craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle were treated from January 2000 to October 2004 by an improved transventricular approach for removing the tumor via the interventricular foramen,the intermedius of the septum pellucidum or choroid fissure. Symptoms and signs of the patients, and results of imaging, operation, and follow-up were analyzed. Results Of the 51 patients who had received the improved transventricular resection, 4 underwent a combined approach with an entrance of the pterion. Forty patients (78.43%) underwent total resection and others subtotal resection, without an operative death. Epileptic seizures were found in 3 patients (5.88%) and subdural effusion in the operative field in 4 (7.84%). All patients showed good general conditions after operation, and follow-up for an average of 27.52 months showed relapse of the tumour in 8 patients (15.69%).Conclusions Microsurgical resection of craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle by an improved transventricular approach has advantages of operative safety and efficacy, lower mortality and disability, and less complications.XUJian-guo YOUChao CAIBo-wen JIANGShu SUNHong GUOFu-you YANGYong-bo WUBo 2005Chinese Medical Journal2005,,10:6

5Improved adaptive genetic algorithm based RFID positioning显示文摘The existing active tag-based radio frequency identi-fication(RFID)localization techniques show low accuracy in practical applications.To address such problems,we propose a chaotic adaptive genetic algorithm to align the passive tag ar-rays.We use chaotic sequences to generate the intersection points,the weakest single point intersection is used to ensure the convergence accuracy of the algorithm while avoiding the optimization jitter problem.Meanwhile,to avoid the problem of slow convergence and immature convergence of the algorithm caused by the weakening of individual competition at a later stage,we use adaptive rate of change to improve the optimiza-tion efficiency.In addition,to remove signal noise and outliers,we preprocess the data using Gaussian filtering.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves high-er localization accuracy and improves the convergence speed.LI Yu WU Honglan SUN Youchao 2022Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022,33,2:4
6Effects of imazethapyr spraying on plant growth and leaf surface microbial communities in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Imazethapyr (IM) is an acetolactate synthase (ALS)-inhibiting herbicide that has been widely used in recent years.However,IM spraying can lead to the accumulation of herbicide residues in leaves.Here,we determined the effects of IM spraying on the plant growth and leaf surface microbial communities of Arabidopsis thaliana after 7 and 14 days of exposure.The results suggested that IM spraying inhibited plant growth.Fresh weight decreased to 48% and 26% of the control value after 7 and 14 days,respectively,of 0.035 kg/ha IM exposure.In addition,anthocyanin content increased 9.2-fold and 37.2-fold relative to the control content after 7 and 14 days of treatment,respectively.Furthermore,IM spraying destroyed the cell structures of the leaves,as evidenced by increases in the number of starch granules and the stomatal closure rate.Reductions in photosynthetic efficiency and antioxidant enzyme activity were observed after IM spraying,especially after 14 days of exposure.The diversity and evenness of the leaf microbiota were not affected by IM treatment,but the composition of community structure at the genus level was altered by IM spraying.Imazethapyr application increased the abundance of Pseudomonas,a genus that includes species pathogenic to plants and humans,indicating that IM potentially increased the abundance of pathogenic bacteria on leaves.Our findings increase our understanding of the relationships between herbicide application and the microbial community structures on plant leaves,and they provide a new perspective for studying the ecological safety of herbicide usage.Wanyue Liu Mingjing Ke Zhenyan Zhang Tao Lu Youchao Zhu Yan Li Xiangliang Pan Haifeng Qian 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,11:2
7MXene based mechanically and electrically enhanced film for triboelectric nanogenerator显示文摘The development of triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)technology which can directly convert ambient mechanical energy into electric energy may affect areas from green energy harvesting to emerging wearing electronics.And,the material of triboelectric layer is critical to the mechanical robustness and electrical output characteristics of the TENGs.Herein,a MXene enhanced electret polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)film with a high mechanical property and surface charge density is developed.The MXene/PTFE composite film was synthesized by spraying and annealing treatment.With the doping of MXene,the crystallinity of composite film could be tuned,leading to an enhancement in the tensile property of 450%and reducing the wear volume about 80%in the friction test.Furthermore,the as-fabricated TENG with this composite film outputs 397 V of open-circuit voltage,21µA of short-circuit current,and 232 nC of transfer charge quantity,which are 4,6,and 6 times higher than that of the TENG made by pure PTFE film,respectively.Therefore,this work provides a creative strategy to simultaneously improve the mechanical property and electrical performance of the TENGs,which have great potential in improving device stability under a complex mechanical environment.Yuyu Gao Guoxu Liu Tianzhao Bu Yaoyao Liu Youchao Qi Yanting Xie Shaohang Xu Weili Deng Weiqing Yang Chi Zhang 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:2
8Raindrop energy-powered autonomous wireless hyetometer based on liquid-solid contact electrification显示文摘Triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)can directly harvest energy via solid-liquid interface contact electrification,making them very suitable for harvesting raindrop energy and as active rainfall sensors.This technology is promising for realizing a fully self-powered system for autonomous rainfall monitoring combined with energy harvesting/sensing.Here,we report a raindrop energy-powered autonomous rainfall monitoring and wireless transmission system(R-RMS),in which a raindrop-TENG(R-TENG)array simultaneously serves as a raindrop energy harvester and rainfall sensor.At a rainfall intensity of 71 mm/min,the R-TENG array can generate an average short-circuit current,open-circuit voltage,and maximum output power of 15 pA,1800 V,and 325 pW,respectively.The collected energy can be adjusted to act as a stable 2.5 V direct-current source for the whole system by a power management circuit.Meanwhile,the R-TENG array acts as a rainfall sensor,in which the output signal can be monitored and the measured data are wirelessly transmitted.Linder a rainfall intensity of 71 mm/min,the R-RMS can be continuously powered and autonomously transmit rainfall data once every 4 min.This work has paved the way for raindrop energy-powered wireless hyetometers,which have exhibited broad prospects in unattended weather monitoring,field surveys,and the Internet of Things.Chaoqun Xu Xianpeng Fu Chengyu Li Guoxu Liu Yuyu Gao Youchao Qi Tianzhao Bu Yuanfen Chen Zhong Lin Wang Chi Zhang 2022Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,2:2

20Boosting self-trapped exciton emission from Cs_(3)Cu_(2)I_(5)nanocrystals by doping-enhanced exciton-phonon coupling显示文摘Self-trapped excitons(STEs)emission from halide perovskites with strong exciton-phonon coupling has attracted considerable attention due to the widespread application in optoelectronic devices.Nevertheless,the in-depth understanding of the relationship between exciton-phonon coupling and luminescence intensity remains incomplete.Herein,a doping-enhanced exciton-phonon coupling effect is observed in Cs_(3)Cu_(2)I_(5)nanocrystals(NCs),which leads to a remarkable increasement of their STEs emission efficiency.Mechanism study shows that the hetero-valent substitution of Cu+with alkaline-earth metal ions(AE^(2+))causes a greater degree of Jahn-Teller distortion between the ground state and excited state structures of[Cu_(2)I_(5)]_(3)-clusters as evidenced by our spectral analysis and first-principles calculations.As a consequence,an X-ray detector based on these Cs_(3)Cu_(2)I_(5):AE NCs delivers an X-ray imaging resolution of up to 10 lp·mm^(-1) and a low detection limit of 0.37μGyair·s^(-1),disclosing the potential of doping-enhanced exciton-phonon coupling effect in improving STEs-emission and practical application for X-ray imaging.Xiaohan Li Aijun Liu Zhaoyu Wang Youchao Wei Qun Lin Yameng Chen Yongsheng Liu Maochun Hong 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
