1Measurement and Correlation of Pressure Drop for Gas-Liquid Two-phase Flow in Rectangular Microchannels显示文摘The pressure drop of gas-liquid two-phase flow in microchannel is of fundamental importance in heat and mass transfer processes. In this work,the pressure drop of gas-liquid two-phase flow in horizontal rectangular cross-section microchannels was measured by a pressure differential transducer system. Water,ethanol and n-propanol were used as liquid phase to study the effects of capillary number on pressure drop;air was used as the gas phase. Four microchannels with various dimensions of 100 μm× 200 μm,100 μm× 400 μm,100 μm× 800 μm and 100 μm× 2000 μm(depth × width) were used for determining the influence of configuration on the pressure drop. Experimental results showed that in micro-scale,the capillary number also affected the pressure drop remarkably,and in spite of only one-fold difference in aspect ratio,the variation of pressure drop reached up to near three times under the same experimental conditions. Taking the effects of aspect ratio and surface tension into account,a modi-fied correlation for Chisholm parameter C in the Chisholm model was proposed for predicting the frictional multi-plier,and the predicted values by the proposed correlation showed a satisfactory agreement with experimental data.MA Youguang JI Xiyan WANG Dongji FU Taotao ZHU Chunying 2010Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2010,18,6:16

3The HY-2 satellite and its preliminary assessment显示文摘The HY-2 satellite was successfully launched on 16 August 2011.It carried four microwave instruments into space for operationally observing dynamic ocean environment parameters on a global scale.The HY-2 satellite altimeter provides sea surface height(SSH),significant wave height(SWH),sea surface wind(SSW)speed,and polar ice sheet elevation,while the HY-2 satellite scatterometer provides SSW fields.At the same time,other oceanic and atmospheric parameters such as sea surface temperature(SST)and wind speed,water vapor and liquid water content can also be obtained by its onboard scanning microwave radiometer.In this paper,we show the data processing methods of the HY-2 satellite’s payloads.The preliminary results show that wind vector,SSH,SWH,and SST conform to the designed technical specifications.Xingwei Jiang Mingsen Lin Jianqiang Liu Youguang Zhang Xuetong Xie Hailong Peng Wu Zhou 2012International Journal of Digital Earth2012,5,3:10
4First six months quality assessment of HY-2A SCAT wind products using in situ measurements显示文摘The first Chinese microwave ocean environment satellite HY-2A,carrying a Ku-band scatteromenter(SCAT),was successfully launched in August 2011.The first quality assessment of HY-2A SCAT wind products is presented through the comparison of the first 6 months operationally released SCAT products with in situ data.The in situ winds from the National Data Buoy Center(NDBC)buoys,R/V Polarstern,Aurora Australis,Roger Revelle and PY30-1 oil platform,were converted to the 10 m equivalent neutral winds.The temporal and spatial differences between the HY-2A SCAT and the in situ observations were limited to less than 5min and 12.5 km.For HY-2A SCAT wind speed products,the comparison and analysis using the NDBC buoys yield a bias of–0.49 m/s,a root mean square error(RMSE)of 1.3 m/s and an increase negative bias with increasing wind speed observation above 3 m/s.Although less accurate of HY-2A SCAT wind direction at low winds,the RMSE of 19.19 with a bias of 0.92 is found for wind speeds higher than 3 m/s.These results are found consistent with those from R/Vs and oil platform comparisons.Moreover,the NDBC buoy comparison results also suggest that the accuracy of HY-2A SCAT winds is consistent over the first half year of 2012.The encouraging assessment results over the first 6 months show that wind products from HY-2A SCAT will be useful for scientific community.WANG He ZHU Jianhua LIN Mingsen HUANG Xiaoqi ZHAO Yili CHEN Chuntao ZHANG Youguang PENG Hailong 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,11:10
5无刷双馈电机运行特性的等效磁网络分析法显示文摘无刷双馈电机(BDFM)结构特殊,磁场调制机理复杂,目前尚缺少有效工具可快速而准确地对其运行特性进行分析。为此,根据磁网络的基本概念,结合笼型转子BDFM的结构特点并考虑铁心饱和与转子旋转的影响,阐述了笼型转子BDFM等效磁网络的建模方法;在此基础上,建立了一个笼型转子BDFM样机的动态磁网络模型,利用回路法对其进行求解,进而得到并分析了BD-FM在多种不同工况下的运行特性;最后,将动态磁网络模型的分析结果与有限元分析结果和样机实验数据进行了对比。结果表明,笼型转子BDFM动态磁网络模型在保证准确性的前提下,计算速度与有限元法相比明显提升,为分析笼型转子BDFM的运行特性提供了新思路。韩力 韩雪峰 欧先朋 Youguang GUO 2019电机与控制学报2019,23,1:8
6The validation of the significant wave height product of HY-2altimeter–primary results显示文摘The HY-2 satellite was successfully launched on 16 August 2011.The HY-2 significant wave height(SWH)is validated by the data from the South China Sea(SCS)field experiment,National Data Buoy Center(NDBC)buoys and Jason-1/2 altimeters,and is corrected using a linear regression with in-situ measurements.Compared with NDBC SWH,the HY-2 SWH show a RMS of 0.36 m,which is similar to Jason-1 and Jason-2 SWH with the RMS of 0.35 m and 0.37 m respectively;the RMS of corrected HY-2 SWH is 0.27 m,similar to 0.27 m and 0.23 m of corrected Jason-1 and Jason-2 SWH.Therefore the accuracy of HY-2 SWH products is close to that of Jason-1/2 SWH,and the linear regression function derived can improve the accuracy of HY-2 SWH products.CHEN Chuntao ZHU Jianhua LIN Mingsen ZHAO Yili HUANG Xiaoqi WANG He ZHANG Youguang PENG Hailong 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,11:7
7Suggestion for aircraft flying qualities requirements of a short-range air combat mission显示文摘Owing to the lack of a direct link with the operations in short-range air combat,conventional aircraft flying qualities criteria are inappropriate to guide the design of a task-tailored flight control law.By applying the mission-oriented flying qualities evaluation approach,various aircraft with different control law parameters are evaluated on a ground-based simulator.This paper compares the evaluation results with several conventional flying qualities criteria,and discusses the appropriate parameter combination to reflect the flying qualities requirements of short-range air combat.The comparison and analysis show that a short-range air combat mission requires a higher minimum short period mode natural frequency and a smaller maximum roll mode time constant,and allows a lower minimum pitch attitude bandwidth and a higher maximum short period mode damp ratio than those of conventional flying qualities criteria.Furthermore,a combination of the pitch attitude bandwidth,the pitch attitude magnitude at the bandwidth frequency,and the pitch attitude transfer function gain can define the flying qualities requirements of short-range air combat.The new metric can successfully predict the flying quality levels of aircraft in a short-range air combat mission.Lixin WANG Youguang GUO Qi ZHANG Ting YUE 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,3:5
8Assessment of the initial sea surface temperature product of the scanning microwave radiometer aboard on HY-2 satellite显示文摘HY-2 satellite is the first satellite for dynamic environmental parameters measurement of China,which was launched on 16th August 2011.A scanning microwave radiometer(RM)is carried for sea surface temperature(SST),sea surface wind speed,columnar water vapor and columnar cloud liquid water detection.In this paper,the initial SST product of RM was validated with in-situ data of National Data of Buoy Center(NDBC)mooring and Argo buoy.The validation results indicate the accuracy of RM SST is better than 1.7 C.The comparison of RM SST and WindSat SST shows the former is warmer than the latter at high sea surface wind speed and the difference between these SSTs is depend on the sea surface wind speed.Then,the relationship between the errors of RM SST and sea surface wind speed was analyzed using NDBC mooring measurements.Based on the results of assessment and errors analysis,the suggestions of taking account of the affection of sea surface wind speed and using sea surface wind speed and direction derived from the microwave scatteromter aboard on HY-2 for SST product calibration were given for retrieval algorithm improvement.ZHAO Yili ZHU Jianhua LIN Mingsen CHEN Chuntao HUANG Xiaoqi WANG He ZHANG Youguang PENG Hailong 2014Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,1:5
9A preliminary assessment of the sea surface wind speed production of HY-2 scanning microwave radiometer显示文摘A scanning microwave radiometer(RM)was launched on August 16,2011,on board HY-2 satellite.The six-month long global sea surface wind speeds observed by the HY-2 scanning microwave radiometer are preliminarily validated using in-situ measurements and WindSat observations,respectively,from January to June 2012.The wind speed root-mean-square(RMS)difference of the comparisons with in-situ data is1.89 m/s for the measurements of NDBC and 1.72 m/s for the recent four-month data measured by PY30-1oil platform,respectively.On a global scale,the wind speeds of HY-2 RM are compared with the sea surface wind speeds derived from WindSat,the RMS difference of 1.85 m/s for HY-2 RM collocated observations data set is calculated in the same period as above.With analyzing the global map of a mean difference between HY-2 RM and WindSat,it appears that the bias of the sea surface wind speed is obviously higher in the inshore regions.In the open sea,there is a relatively higher positive bias in the mid-latitude regions due to the overestimation of wind speed observations,while the wind speeds are underestimated in the Southern Ocean by HY-2 RM relative to WindSat observations.HUANG Xiaoqi ZHU Jianhua LIN Mingsen ZHAO Yili WANG He CHEN Chuntao PENG Hailong ZHANG Youguang 2014Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,1:4

11Cyclic delay transmission for unique word OFDM systems显示文摘In this article,we propose a cyclic delay diversity(CDD)transmission scheme for unique word(UW)OFDM system,which is denoted as CDD-UW-OFDM.In our proposed CDD-UW-OFDM system,the first transmit antenna transmits a UW-OFDM and then,for every UW-OFDM block,the i-th transmit antenna transmits a cyclically delayed version of the symbols transmitted at the first transmit antenna.With this proposed CDD-OFDM system,each antenna transmission is a UW-OFDM.Also,at the receiver under a certain condition on the cyclic delay amounts,the received signal is equivalent to that of a single transmit antenna UW-OFDM transmission with a longer multipath channel.We design the lengths of UW and cyclic delays to achieve the full multipath and spatial diversities for the CDD-UW-OFDM system when the linear MMSE receiver is used.We then present some simulation results to illustrate the claimed performance of the proposed system.LIAO Mang XIA XiangGen ZHANG YouGuang 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,8:3
12SER analysis and power allocation for hybrid cooperative transmission system显示文摘The symbol-error-rate(SER) and power allocation for hybrid cooperative(HC) transmission system are investigated.Closed-form SER expression is derived by using the moment generating function(MGF)-based approach.However,the resultant SER contains an MGF of the harmonic mean of two independent random variables(RVs),which is not tractable in SER analysis.We present a simple MGF expression of the harmonic mean of two independent RVs which avoids the hypergeometric functions used commonly in previous studies.Using the simple MGF,closed-form SER for HC system with M-ary phase shift keying(M-PSK) signals is provided.Further,an approximation as well as an upper bound of the SER is presented.It is shown that the SER approximation is asymptotically tight.Based on the tight SER approximation,the power allocation of the HC system is investigated.It is shown that the optimal power allocation does not depend on the fading parameters of the source-destination(SD) channel and it only depends on the source-relay(SR) and relay-destination(RD) channels.Moreover,the performance gain of the power allocation depends on the ratio of the channel quality between RD and SR.With the increase of this ratio,more performance gain can be acquired.Guoyan Li Youguang Zhang Wang Kang 2012Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2012,23,5:2
13Measurement analyses and evaluations of sea-level heights using the HY-2A satellite’s radar altimeter显示文摘The HY-2A satellite is China’s first independent oceanic dynamic environmental satellite,and has been operating continuously for more than six years.The satellite’s radar altimeter,which is one of the main loads on the satellite,has the ability to realize all-weather and all-day observations of global sea-surface heights,as well as significant wave heights and sea-surface wind speeds.These observed data have been widely used in marine disaster prevention and reduction,along with resource development,maritime security and other fields.In order to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the multi-year overall observational performances of the HY-2A satellite’s radar altimeter,all of the observational data of the IGDR product from October 26,2012 to August 27,2017 were selected in this study for a comprehensive evaluation.The height measurement capability of the HY-2A satellite’s radar altimeter was evaluated using self-crossover and Jason-2 crossover methods.The height discrepancies at the self-crossover point of the HY-2A satellite’s ascending and descending orbits were also calculated.It was found that for the HY-2A satellite’s radar altimeter in global waters under the restriction conditions of ascending and descending orbits,the height anomaly differences were within a range of less than 30 cm.The absolute mean error was determined to be 5.81 cm,and the height anomaly standard deviation was 7.76 cm.Under the conditions of the observational areas being limited within a scope of 60°from the Equator,it was determined that the sea-level height anomaly differences were less than 10 cm at the junction of the ascending and descending orbits,the absolute mean error was 3.95 cm.In addition,the sea-level height anomaly standard deviation was observed to be 4.76cm.Using a mutual cross method with the Jason-2 satellite,it was found that under the conditions of the observational area being within the scope of 66°from the equator,the height anomaly differences at the junction were less than 30cm,and the absolute mean error of HY-2A and Jason-2 sea level height anomaly was 5.86 cm,with a standard deviation of 7.52 cm.It was observed that,if within the sea area the sea level height anomaly difference was limited to within 10cm,then the absolute mean error and standard deviation could reach 4.19cm and 4.98cm,respectively.It was confirmed that the HY-2A satellite’s radar altimeter had successfully reached the height measurement level of similar international altimeters.Therefore,it had the ability to meet the needs of marine scientific research and ocean circulation inversions.Xingwei Jiang Yongjun Jia Youguang Zhang 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,11:2

15The numerical simulation of the Kuroshio frontal eddies in the East China Sea using a hybrid coordinate ocean mode显示文摘A hybrid coordinate ocean model (HYCOM) is used to simulate the Kuroshio frontal eddies in the East China Sea (ECS). The research area is located (20°-32°N, 120°-132°E). Using the simulating data, it is figured out that the Kuroshio frontal eddies occur in summer as well as in the other season in this area. The life cycle of the Kuroshio and its frontal eddies is different with the position. The life-cycle of the Kuroshio frontal eddies of the northwest Diaoyu Islands is about 14 d; and the life cycle of the Kuroshio frontal eddies of southwest Yakushima about 20 d. This result extends the in situ researching results greatly. In addition, the vertical impact depth of the Kuroshio frontal eddies is also changing with the position. On the whole, in the ECS, the maximum impact depth of the Kuroshio frontal eddies of the northwest Taiwan Islands is about 75 m; the maximum impact depth of the Kuroshio frontal eddies of the northwest Diaoyu Islands is more than 125 m, but no more than 200 m; and the maximum impact depth of the Kuroshio frontal eddies of southwest Yakushima is up to 100 m.JIA Yongjun ZHANG Youguang LIN Mingsen 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,5:2
