1Microstructure Design and Heat Response of Powder Metallurgy Ti_2AlNb Alloys显示文摘Pre-alloyed powder of Ti-22Al-24Nb-0.5Mo(atomic fraction,%) was prepared by gas atomization.Powder metallurgy(PM) Ti_2AlNb alloys were prepared by a hot isostatic pressing(HIPing) route.The influence of experimental variables including HIPing temperatures,solution and aging temperatures on microstructure and properties of PM Ti_2AlNb alloys was studied.The results showed that HIPing temperature affected the porosity distribution and mechanical properties of PM Ti_2AlNb alloys.The microstructure and mechanical properties of the PM Ti_2AlNb alloys changed obviously after various post heat treatments,and a good combination of tensile strength,ductility and rupture lifetime was obtained through an optimized heat treatment in the present work.Jie Wu Lei Xu Zhengguan Lu Bin Lu Yuyou Cui Rui Yang 2015Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,12:14
2Pharmacokinetic evaluation of Shenfu Injection in beagle dogs after intravenous drip administration显示文摘Shenfu Injection(SFI) is a well-defined Chinese herbal formulation that is obtained from red ginseng and processed aconite root. The main active constituents in SFI are ginsenosides and aconitum alkaloids. In this work, ginsenosides(ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Rb1 and ginsenoside Rc) and aconitum alkaloids(benzoylmesaconine and fuziline) were used as the index components to explore the pharmacokinetic behavior of SFI. A selective and sensitive HPLC–MS/MS method was developed for the quantification of ginsenosides and aconitum alkaloids in dog plasma and was used to characterize the pharmacokinetics of the five index components after intravenous drip of three different dosages of SFI in beagle dogs. 3Effect of Hot Isostatic Pressing Loading Route on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Powder Metallurgy Ti_2AlNb Alloys显示文摘In this work, hot isostatic pressing(HIPing) technique was used to densify the Ti_2AlNb pre-alloyed powder.The influence of HIPing loading route parameters(temperature and rates of heating and pressurizing)on microstructure and properties of PM Ti_2AlNb alloys was studied. The results showed that HIPing loading route parameters affected the densification process and mechanical properties(especially high temperature rupture lifetime) of PM Ti_2AlNb alloys in the present work. 4Enhancement of thermophilic anaerobic digestion of thickened waste activated sludge by combined microwave and alkaline pretreatment显示文摘Pretreatment of thickened waste activated sludge (TWAS) by combined microwave and alkaline pretreatment (MAP) was studied to improve thermophilic anaerobic digestion efficiency. Uniform design was applied to determine the combination of target temperature (110-210℃), microwave holding time (1-51 min), and NaOH dose (0-2.5 g NaOH/g suspended solids (SS)) in terms of their effect on volatile suspended solids (VSS) solubilization. Maximum solubilization ratio (85.1%) of VSS was observed at 210℃ with 0.2 g-NaOH/g-SS and 35 min holding time. The effects of 12 different pretreatment methods were investigated in 28 thermophilic batch reactors by monitoring cumulative methane production (CMP). Improvements in methane production in the TWAS were directly related to the microwave and alkaline pretreatment of the sludge. The highest CMP was a 27% improvement over the control. In spite of the increase in soluble chemical oxygen demand concentration and the decrease in dewaterability of digested sludge, a semi-continuous thermophilic reactor fed with pretreated TWAS without neutralization (at 170℃ with 1 min holding time and 0.05 g NaOH/g SS) was stable and functioned well, with volatile solid (VS) and total chemical oxygen demand (TCOD) reductions of 28% and 18%, respectively, which were higher than those of the control system. 6Proteomics to display tissue repair opposing injury response to LPS-induced liver injury显示文摘AIM: To examine the protein expression alterations in liver injury/repair network regulation as a response to gut-derived lipopolysaccharide (LPS) treatment, in order to anticipate the possible signal molecules or biomarkers in signaling LPS-related liver injury.METHODS: Male BALB/c mice were treated with intraperitoneal (i.p.) LPS (4 mg/kg) and sacrificed at 0, 6, 24 and 30 h to obtain livers. The livers were stained with hematoxylin and eosin for histopathologic analyses. Total liver protein was separated by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE). The peptide mass of liver injury or repair related proteins were drawn up and the protein database was searched to identify the proteins.RESULTS: Observations were as follows: (1) TRAIL-R2 was down regulated in livers of LPS-treated mice. TNFAIP1 was significantly up regulated at 6 h, then down- regulated at 24, 30 h with silent expression during senescent stage.(2) The amount of metaxin 2 and mitochondria import inner membrane translocase subunit TIM8a (TIMM8A) was increased upon treatment with LPS, (3) P34 cdc2 kinase was significantly up-regulated 30 h after LPS administration with silent expression during senescent, 6, 24 h treated stage. 8Diffusion Bonding of Dissimilar Intermetallic Alloys Based on Ti_2AlNb and TiAl显示文摘Direct diffusion bonding of an orthorhombic Ti 2 AlNb base alloy to a TiAl base alloy, Ti-22Al-23Nb-2Ta and Ti-46.2Al-2Cr-2Nb-0.15B (at. pct), was carried out and the interface microstructure, formation of new phase at the interface and joint strength were characterized. At low temperature, a new phase with AlNb 2-structure, Al(Nb, Ti) 2 , was formed in the interface region adjacent to the O base alloy. The α 2 was found to be the major reaction product and developed in the interface region adjacent to the TiAl alloy as well as in the region adjacent to the O base alloy accompanying the formation of Al(Nb, Ti) 2 . The occurrence of Al(Nb, Ti) 2 has been attributed to the different diffusivity of Nb and Al, leading to a eutectoid-like reaction. At relatively high temperature, Al(Nb, Ti) 2 did not form due to enhanced diffusion of Nb but a B2-enriched zone formed on the O alloy side instead after long holding time. 9Microdilution inhibition test of Chinese herbs to assess their effect against clinical strains of Ureaplasma urealyticum in vitro显示文摘Objective:To explore the antibacterial effect of Chinese crude drugs against clinical strains of Ureaplasma urealyticum(UU), including eight pure herbs and three compound herbs, and determine their minimal inhibitory concentrations(MICs). Methods:Isolates were collected from clinical patients with UU infection, and cultured in UU broth. In order to test the different effects on clinical strains of UU, the assays were performed by microdilution inhibition tests, and MICs of the herbs against the clinical strains of UU were calculated. Results:The MICs of eight pure herbs against clinical strains of UU were as follows: Galla Chinensis:0.313~1.25 g/L; Fructus Forsythiae: 1.25~5.00 g/L; Cortex Phellodendri:1.25~5.00 g/L; Radix Paeoniae Rubra:1.25~2.50 g/L; Semen Plantaginis:2.50~10.00 g/L; Herba Lysimachiae: 5.00~20.00 g/L; Rhizoma Coptidis: 5.00~20.00g/L, Herba Houttuyniae: 10.00~20.00 g/L. The MICs of compound herbs were: Liuheji: 0.625~2.50 g/L; Bazhengsan: 5.00~20.00 g/L; Wulinsan:2.50~20.0 g/L.Conclusion:Galla Chinensis, Fructus Forsythiae, Cortex Phellodendrim, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, and Semen Plantaginis, exerted the stronger antibacterial effect against clinical strains of UU, whereas Herba Lysimachiae, Rhizoma Coptidis and Herba Houttuyniae, had relatively weaker activity against UU. Compound herbs, Bazhengsan and Wulinsan, and particularly Liuheji, also had antibacterial effects against UU. 10Processing Maps for Hot Working Behavior of a PM TiAl Alloy显示文摘The hot deformation behavior of a Ti-47Al-2Cr-2Nb-0.2W-0.15B(at.%) titanium aluminide alloy fabricated by pre-alloyed powder metallurgy has been investigated by using the hot compression tests in the temperature range from 950 C to 1300 C and at the strain rates between 10 3 s 1 and 10 s 1.The processing maps have been established to evaluate the optimum hot processing conditions and reveal the instability regions.It is found that the flow stress of the investigated alloy is a strong function of the temperature and the strain rate.The investigated alloy has the optimum hot-working condition at 950 C and 10 3 s 1,since the material undergoes dynamic recrystallization to produce a fine-grained microstructure.At 1250 C and 10 3 s 1,the alloy exhibits superplastic deformation.At 1300 C and 10 1 s 1,the cyclic dynamic recrystallization with high temperature grain coarsening takes place.The material undergoes flow instabilities at lower temperatures and higher strain rates,as predicted by the instability criterion.The processing maps demonstrate that the strain significantly affected the instability regions.The manifestations of the instabilities have been observed in the form of microvoids,wedge cracks,and surface fractures.Gang Wang Lei Xu Yong Wang Zhuo Zheng Yuyou Cui Rui Yang 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,10:2

13Seeded growth of Ti-46Al-8Nb polysynthetically twinned crystals with an ultra-high elongation显示文摘Large size polysynthetically twinned crystals of Ti-46 Al-8 Nb alloy with a parallel lamellar microstructure were successfully prepared using a Ti-43 Al-3 Si seed by our new operation.A large amount of columnar B2 phase paralleling to the growth direction was found in the final lamellar microstructure.Higher growth rate(>30 mm/h)led to the failure of seeding process.Based on these results,a new mechanism is proposed to describe the seeding process of the hypo-peritectic Ti Al alloys.The peritecticαphase is suggested to directly nucleate from the melt,and then act as nucleus for transformedαphase in the subsequentβtoαtransformation.At the higher growth rate,the appearance ofβphase secondary dendrites and homogeneous nucleation lead to the failure of seeding process.High Nb addition leads to a large amount of residualβphase,and theseβdendrites finally evolve into B2 phase.The room temperature tensile elongation was measured to be 11.9-18.5%for Ti-46 Al-8 Nb PST crystals,which is the highest ever reported value for Ti Al based alloys.Hao Jin Qing Jia Quangang Xian Ronghua Liu Yuyou Cui Dongsheng Xu Rui Yang 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,54,19:2

15CircRNA.0007127 triggers apoptosis through the miR-513a-5p/CASP8 axis in K-562 cells显示文摘Background:Circular RNAs(circR NAs)are covalently closed single-stranded RNAs with multiple biological functions.CircRNA.0007127 is derived from the carbon catabolite repression 4-negative on TATA-less(CCR4-NOT)complex subunit2(CNOT2),which was found to regulate tumor cell apoptosis through caspase pathway.Methods:Potential circR NA.0007127 target microRNAs(miRNAs)were analyzed by miRanda,TargetScan,and RNAhybrid software,and the miRNAs with binding sites for apoptosis-related genes were screened.The roles of circR NA.0007127 and its downstream target,microR NA(miR)-513a-5p,were validated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),flow cytometry,mitochondrial membrane potential,immunofluorescence,western blot,and caspase-8(CASP8)protein activity in vitro in HO-induced K-562 cells.The circRNA.0007127-miR-513a-5p and CASP8-miR-513a-5p interactions were verified by luciferase reporter assays.Results:Silencing circRNA.0007127 decreased cell apoptosis by inhibiting CASP8 pathway activation in K-562 cells.Compared with the control group,the expression of CASP8 was reduced by 50%and the 43-kD fragment of CASP8 protein was significantly reduced(P≤0.05).The luciferase reporting assay showed that circRNA.0007127 combined with miR-513a-5p or CASP8,with extremely significant differences(P≤0.001).The overexpression of miR-513a-5p inhibited the gene expression level of CASP8in a human myeloid leukemia cell model(75%change)and the level of a 43-kD fragment of CASP8 protein(P small-interfering RNA(siRNA)and the miR-≤0.01).The rescue experiment showed that cotransfection with circRNA.0007127513a-5p inhibitor increased CASP8 gene expression and the apoptosis rate,suggesting that the miR-513a-5p inhibitor is a circRNA.0007127siRNA antagonist.Conclusions:CircRNA.0007127 regulates K-562 cell apoptosis through the miR-513a-5p/CASP8 axis,which can serve as a novel powerful molecular target for K-562 cells.Xiajing LI Yiyu ZHANG Ning WANG Zhaohu YUAN Xiaojie CHEN Qicong CHEN Hui DENG Xinxin TONG Honglin CHEN Yuyou DUAN Yaming WEI 2022Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,9:1

20Tensile Behavior of SiC Fiber-Reinforcedγ-TiAl Composites Prepared by Suction Casting显示文摘The process of preparing SiC_(f)iber-reinforced y-TiAl composites by the conventional methods is difficult and complicated due to the high reactivity,high melting point and poor deformability of y-TiAl alloys.In this work,suction casting,a promising method for preparing SiC_(f)/TiAl composite,had been attempted.In the process,y-TiAl alloy melt was introduced rapidly into a mold within pre-arranged fibers that were coated with additional layer of titanium alloy.This simple method successfully prevented serious reactions between the alloy melt and the fibers which remained intact during the solidification process.The interfacial reaction layer was observed by optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The interfacial reaction products were identified by transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Tensile tests of the matrix alloy and composites were performed at room temperature and 800℃.The results exhibited that the tensile strength of SiC_(f)/γ-TiAl composite was higher than that of the matrix alloy at both room temperature and 8000 C.At room temperature,tensile strength of SiC_(f)/γ-TiAl composite was increased by about 7%(50 MPa),whereas a double increase in tensile strength 14%(100 MPa)was obtained at 800℃.The titanium alloy coating on the fiber not only prevented the serious interfacial reaction between the y-TiAl alloy melt and the SiC_(f)iber,but also played a role in delaying the propagation of cracks in the matrix to the fiber at 800℃.The fracture mechanism of the composite was analyzed by fracture metallographic analysis.Yingying Shen Qing Jia Xu Zhang Ronghua Liu Yumin Wang Yuyou Cui Rui Yang 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,7:1
