1Advances of drag-reducing surface technologies in turbulence based on boundary layer control显示文摘Our living environment is surrounded by turbulence, which is also a concern of the global energy consumption and the greenhouse gas emission, and the viscous force on the solid-liquid/solid-gas interface is an important part of the turbulence. Reducing friction force in turbulence to the greatest extent is becoming an urgent issue to be resolved at present. In this paper, the various state-of-the-art approaches of drag-reducing and energy-saving technologies based on the boundary layer control are reviewed, focusing on the polymer drag reduction additives, the micro-morphology, the super-hydrophobic surface, the micro air bubbles, the heating wall, the vibrant flexible wall and the composite drag reduction methods. In addition, the mechanisms of different drag reductions based on the boundary layer control and the potential applications in fluid engineering are discussed. 2Reservoir Characteristics and Preservation Conditions of Longmaxi Shale in the Upper Yangtze Block, South China显示文摘The Upper Ordovician-Lower Silurian Longmaxi Shale in the Upper Yangtze block represents one of the most important shale gas plays in China. The shale composition,porosity,organic thermal maturity,and methane sorption were investigated at the Qilongcun section in the Dingshan area,southeastern Sichuan Basin. The results show that the Upper Ordovician-Lower Silurian Longmaxi Shale contains:(1) sapropelic I organic matter;(2) a 40-m thick bedded sequence where total organic carbon(TOC) content is > 2%;(3) a 30-m thick layer at the base of the Longmaxi Shale with a brittle mineral content higher than 50%; and(4) a mean methane adsorption capacity of 1.80 cm^3/g(7 MPa pressure). A positive correlation between TOC and sorbed gas indicates that organic matter content exerts an important control on methane storage capacity. Based on the analysis of the shale reservoir characteristics,the lower member of the Longmaxi Shale can thus be considered a favorable stratum for shale gas exploration and exploitation. It has similar reservoir characteristics with the Longmaxi Shale in the Jiaoshiba area tested with a high-yield industrial gas flow. However,based on tectonic analysis,differences in the level of industrial gas flow between the low-yield study area and the high-yield Jiaoshiba area may result from different tectonic preservation conditions. 3Propofol attenuates high glucose-induced P66shc expression in human umbilical vein endothelial cells through Sirt1显示文摘Perioperative hyperglycemia is a common metabolic disorder in clinic settings.Hyperglycemia leads to endothelial inflammation,endothelial cell apoptosis,and dysfunction,thus resulting in endothelial injury.Propofol(2,6-diisopropylphenol)is a widely used intravenous anesthetic in clinic settings.Our previous study indicated that propofol inhibits mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(ROS)production via down-regulation of phosphatase A2(PP2A)expression,inhibition of Ser36-p66shc dephosphorylation and mitochondrial translocation,thus improving high glucose-induced endothelial injury.The expression of p66shc was inhibited by propofol in hyperglycemic human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).However,the mechanism by which propofol inhibits p66shc expression in hyperglycemic HUVECs is still obscure.In the present study,we mainly examined how propofol inhibited high glucose-induced p66shc expression in HUVECs.Compared with 5 mM glucose treatment,high glucose increased p66shc expression and decreased sirt1 expression,which was inhibited by propofol treatment.Moreover,EX527(a sirt1 inhibitor)reversed the effect of propofol against high glucose-induced p66shc expression.However,EX527 did not reverse the effects of propofol against high glucose-induced ROS accumulation,endothelial inflammation,and apoptosis.Furthermore,when cells were incubated with propofol,EX527,and FTY720(a PP2A activator)simultaneously,the effects of propofol against high glucose-induced ROS accumulation,inflammation,and apoptosis were reversed.Our results suggested that propofol inhibited high glucose-induced p66shc expression via upregulation of sirt1 expression in hyperglycemic HUVECs.Moreover,propofol protects against high glucose-mediated ROS accumulation and endothelial injury via both inhibition of p66shc expression and dephosphorylation of Ser36-p66shc.Jing Wang Jie Qi Qichao Wu Hui Jiang Yuehao Yin Yan Huanx Yanjun Zhao Minmin Zhu 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,2:5

7Spatiotemporal variation and driving factors of water yield services on the Qingzang Plateau显示文摘Water resources are a basic need for social sustainable development and human existence.As an important national strategy for water resources security,spatial and temporal patterns and driving mechanisms of water yield ecosystem services on the Qingzang Plateau(QP)are critical for water resources management,optimal water allocation and the improvement of ecological water protection efficiency.However,only a few relevant studies are currently available.In this study,we simulated the water yield(WY)of the QP over 34 years,from 1982 to 2015,using the InVEST model and analyzed the spatiotemporal dynamic relationships between WY and climate change as well as between WY and vegetation change,using geographically weighted regression(GWR)models.The results showed that:1)from 1982 to 2015,the WY of the QP increased at an average rate of 3.8 mm/yr;2)WY presented a reduced spatial pattern from southeast to northwest;and 3)the WY driving factors have individual and spatial differences.In terms of the area percentage in promoting WY when analyzing each driving factor,precipitation(99.8%)and air pressure(53.3%)played the major roles in promoting WY,while temperature(71.9%),wind speed(57.2%),net primary productivity(87.2%),radiation(68.3%)and lake(87.7%)played negative roles.The areas where WY are dominated by temperature are the largest(41.1%),and followed by areas dominated by pressure(19.7%)and precipitation(18.5%).The results of this study provide scientific support for formulating regional water resources policy,social and economic development planning and other macro decisions for the QP.Xiaofeng Wang Bingyang Chu Xiaoming Feng Yuehao Li Bojie Fu Shirong Liu Jiming Jin 2021Geography and Sustainability2021,2,1:1

11A combined interfacial and in-situ polymerization strategy to construct well-defined core-shell epoxy-containing SiO_(2) - based microcapsules with high encapsulation loading, super thermal stability and nonpolar solvent tolerance显示文摘SiO_(2)-based microcapsules containing hydrophobic molecules exhib-ited potential applications such as extrinsic self-healing,drug delivery,due to outstanding thermal and chemical stability of SiO_(2).However,to construct SiO_(2)-based microcapsules with both high encapsulation loading and long-term structural stability is still a troublesome issue,limiting their further utilization.We herein design asingle-batch route,a combined interfacial and in-situ polymerization strategy,to fabricate epoxy-containing SiO_(2)-based microcapsules with both high encapsu-lation loading and long-term structural stability.The final SiO_(2)-based microcapsules preserve high encapsulation loading of 85.7 wt% by controlling exclusively hydrolysis and condensed polymerization at oil/water interface in the initial interfacial polymerization step.In the subsequent in-situ polymerization step,the initial SiO_(2)-based microcapsules as seeds could efficiently harvest SiO_(2) precursors and primary SiO 2 particles to finely tune the SiO_(2) wall thickness,thereby enhancing long-term structural stability of the final SiO_(2)-based microcapsules including high thermal stability with almost no any weight loss until 250℃,and strong tolerance against nonpolar solvents such as CCl_(4) with almost unchanged core-shell structure and unchanged core weight after immersing into strong solvents for up to 5 days.These SiO_(2)-based microcapsules are extremely suited for processing them into anticorrosive coating in the presence of nonpolar solvents for self-healing application.Yin Jia Haiyan Wang Kesong Tian Ruifei Li Zhaopeng Xu Jiao Jiao Ling Cao Yuehao Wu 2016International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2016,7,4:0

13Combinatorial metabolic engineering of Saccharomyces cerevisiae for improved production of 7-dehydrocholesterol显示文摘7-Dehydrocholesterol(7-DHC),a key pharmaceutical intermediate in the production of vitamin D3,has a wide range of applications.To explore fermentative synthesis of 7-DHC,a 7-DHC-producing Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain was constructed by blocking the competitive pathway,eliminating rate-limiting steps,altering global reg-ulation,and pathway compartmentalization.After blocking the competitive pathway by disrupting ERG5 and ERG6 and introducing DHCR24 from Gallus gallus,S.cerevisiae produced 139.72 mg/L(17.04 mg/g dry cell weight,hereafter abbreviated as DCW)7-DHC.Subsequent alteration of global regulation by deleting ROX1 and overexpressing UPC2-1 increased 7-DHC production to 217.68 mg/L(37.56 mg/g DCW).To remove the accu-mulated squalene,the post-squalene pathway was strengthened by co-overexpression of PGAL1-driven ERG11 and PGAL10-driven ERG1,which improved 7-DHC titer and yield to 281.73 mg/L and 46.78 mg/g DCW,respectively,and reduced squalene content by 90.12%.We surmised that the sterol precursors in the plasma membrane and peroxisomes may not be accessible to the pathway enzymes,thus we re-localized DHCR24p and Erg2p-GGGGS-Erg3p to the plasma membrane and peroxisomes,boosting 7-DHC production to 357.53 mg/L(63.12 mg/g DCW).Iron supplementation further increased 7-DHC production to 370.68 mg/L in shake flasks and 1.56 g/L in fed-batch fermentation.This study demonstrates the power of global regulation and subcellular relocalization of key enzymes to improve 7-DHC synthesis in yeast.Yuehao Gu Shuhui Chen Xue Jiao Qi Bian Lidan Ye Hongwei Yu 2023Engineering Microbiology2023,3,4:0
14Beam-focused SH wave transducer based on YSr_(3)(PO_(4))_(3)piezoelectric crystal for high temperature structural health monitoring显示文摘Guided-wave-based structural health monitoring(SHM)technology is of great importance for real-time inspection of high-temperature structures.The fundamental shear horizontal(SH_(0))wave is believed to be an ideal wave mode for developing SHM systems due to its nondispersive characteristics.However,currently very limited SH_(0)wave transducers can be used for SHM of high-temperature structures due to the limitation of materials.Herein,a novel YSr_(3)(PO_(4))_(3)(YSP)piezoelectric crystal in the space group I43d was grown.Experiments show that the face-shear piezoelectric coefficient d_(14)(d_(14)=d_(25)=d_(36))is 9.7 pC/N and varies little from 25 to 800℃.Then a beam-focused SH_(0)wave piezoelectric transducer is developed based on face-shear-mode YSP wafers.Both finite element simulations and experimental results indicate that the YSP-based transducer can excite pure SH_(0)wave and focus the wave energy along two opposite main directions.Especially,the obtained SH_(0)wave beam is highly concentrated with a small divergence angle of less than 30°,originating from the high working frequency range from 300 to 400 kHz.The excellent temperature stability of the as-grown YSP crystal makes the proposed SH_(0)wave piezoelectric transducer very suitable for SHM of high-temperature structures.Yuehao Du Guangda Wu Fapeng Yu Hongchen Miao Xian Zhao 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,3:0
