| 1 | Spatio-temporal variation in rock exhumation linked to large-scale shear zones in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Crustal-scale shear zones are believed to have played an important role in the tectonic and landscape evolution of orogens. However, the variation of long-term rock exhumation between the interior of shear zones and adjacent regions has not been documented in detail. In this study, we obtained new zircon U-Pb, biotite ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar, zircon and apatite(U-Th)/He data, and conducted inverse thermal history modeling from two age-elevation profiles(the Pianma and Tu'er profiles) in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau. Our goal is to constrain the exhumation history of the Gaoligong and Chongshan shear zones and adjacent regions, so as to explore the effect of the shear zones on exhumation and their thermal effect on cooling that should not be ignored. Our results suggest that during the interval of 18–11 Ma the exhumation rates of rocks within the Gaoligong shear zone are anomalously high compared with those outside of. The rapid cooling during 18–11 Ma appears to be restricted to the shear zone, likely due to localized thermal effects of shearing and exhumation. After 11 Ma, both the areas within and outside of the shear zones experienced a similar two-stage exhumation history: slower cooling until the early Pliocene, and then a rapid increase in cooling rate since the early Pliocene. Our results indicate a synchronized exhumation but with spatially varied exhumation rates. | 2 | Comparison of Achievable Rates of OFDM and Single Carrier Communication Systems显示文摘This paper presents a theoretical comparison of a single carrier system and a multi-carrier system through an analysis of the achievable rate under frequency selective fading with channel state information at the receiver. A scheme was designed to compare the achievable rates of a single carrier system and an Or-thogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. A thorough theoretical analysis of the two-path channel was conducted, and simulations were also used to analyze practical stochastic channels. Analysis and simulation results show that the achievable rates of the two approaches are comparable when the channel is flat fading. However, when the channel is frequency selective fading, the single carrier system outperforms the OFDM system. | 3 | Sedimentology,provenance and geochronology of the Miocene Qiuwu Formation:Implication for the uplift history of Southern Tibet显示文摘Located on the south of the Gangdese,the Qiuwu Formation has traditionally been considered as Eocene coal-bearing clastic sediments consisting of sandstone,mudstone and conglomerate,unconformably on top of Gangdese batholith.However,its precise age and depositional environment remain ambiguous.Here,we present a newly measured stratigraphic section near the Ngamring County,western Xigaze.Detrital zircon U-Pb ages were also applied to trace the provenance of sediments and to constrain the maximum depositional age of the Qiuwu Formation.Sedimentary facies analyses indicate subaqueous fan and alluvial fan depositional environments.Clast composition of the conglomerate is dominated by magmatic rocks at the lower part,while chert and mafic detritus occur in the upper part,suggesting a southern source.Sandstone modal analyses indicate that the compositions of quartz,feldspar and lithic grains changed from transitional arc to dissected arc,implying the unroofing of the Gangdese arc.Detrital zircon U-Pb ages of the Qiuwu Formation are compared with those from Gangdese magmatic rocks and Yarlung-Zangbo ophiolites,suggesting that the Gangdese arc is a main source of the Qiuwu detritus and that the southern source played a role during the later stage.The major peak of detrital zircon ages is at 45-55 Ma,which corresponds to Linzizong volcanic rocks in southern Gangdese arc.The weighted mean age of the five youngest zircons from the lower part of the section is 21.0 ± 2.2 Ma,suggesting that the Qiuwu Formation was deposited in early Miocene,coeval with other conglomerates exposed along the southern margin of Gangdese.Combining new observations with previously published data,we propose that the provenance of the Qiuwu Formation had shifted from a single northern source to double sources from both the north and the south.Activities of Great Counter Thrust were primarily responsible for the shift by making the south area a high elevation to provide sediments for the Qiuwu Formation. | Jiawei Zhang Jingen Dai Xinyu Qian Yukui Ge Chengshan Wang | 2017 | Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,4: | 0 |
| 4 | Pressure controllable aptamers picking strategy by targets competition显示文摘Selection of aptamers with high affinity and good specificity requires multiple rounds of alternating steps of separation and PCR amplification.Herein,we proposed a novel high-efficiency aptamers picking strategy:One-round pressure controllable selection(OPCS).OPCS integrates four types of screening superiority,high-efficiency separation,one-round selection and PCR amplification,synchronous negative selection and targets competition.The controllable screening pressure can be achieved through two approaches,balanced competition by the regulation of protein concentration,and dominant competition by introducing a predatory protein with high concentration.In OPCS process,two proteins were co-incubated with one ssDNA library,and each protein bound its favorable sequences specifically and formed protein-ss D NA complex re spectively.Meanwhile,one protein could supply/sufferthe picking pressure of affinity and specificity to/from another,which eliminated weakly bound or unbound sequences for each other.Two complexes could be separated and collected conveniently,and aptamers for two proteins obtained synchronously with high affinity and good specificity.This strategy not only provides a more effective way for aptamers selection,but shows great potential in other ligands or drugs selection. | Ge Yang Chao Zhu Liping Zhao Linsen Li Yuanyu Huang Yukui Zhang Feng Qu | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,1: | 0 |
| 5 | Se-sensitized NIR hot band absorption photosensitizer for anti-Stokes excitation deep photodynamic therapy显示文摘Conventional anti-Stokes materials-involved deep photodynamic therapy(dPDT)requires much high-intensity irradiance due to low photosensitization efficiency.Herein,we proposed a'booster effector'approach to construct highly efficient hot band absorption phototherapeutics for low/biosafety power anti-Stokes light-triggered d PDT.Se,as'booster effector',was introduced into hot band absorption luminophores(HBAs),which not only significantly facilitated intersystem crossing,but also simultaneously enhanced hot band excitation efficiency atν808,as a result successfully enabling excellent photogenerated singlet oxygen capability of HBAs under ultra-low power anti-Stokes excitation(10 mW cm^(-2)in vitro).As far as we know,such low laser power-initiated photosensitization activity has never been reported in the existing anti-Stokes material systems.Importantly,FUC-Se ME can self-assemble into uniform nanospheres in water,greatly boosting cellular uptake(>25-fold larger than FUC-Se),and achieve superior cancer-killing effect(808 nm,10 mW cm^(-2),5 min,the half-maximal inhibitory concentration IC50=1.36μM).After further PEGylation with folate-attached polymer,the resultant FUC-Se ME@FA can effectively enrich at the tumor(signal-to-background ratio,10).Under safety irradiation(330 mW cm^(-2)),FUC-Se ME@FA effectively inhibits deep-seated tumor progression(the tumor growth inhibition rate,84%).This work provides a successful paradigm,possibly being more clinically beneficial than conventional anti-Stokes materials. | Dandan Ma Hui Bian Saran Long Panwang Zhou Ruisong Tian Yingnan Wu Haoying Ge Mingle Li Jianjun Du Jiangli Fan Yukui Zhang Xiaojun Peng | 2022 | Science China Chemistry2022,65,3: | 0 |
