1Structural evolution of layered oxide cathodes for spent Li-ion batteries:Degradation mechanism and repair strategy显示文摘Sustainable development has long been recognized as one of the most critical issues in today’s energy and environment-conscious society.It has never been more urgent to recycle and reuse the end-of-life cathode materials.Here,this work systematically investigates the structure-critical degradation mechanism of polycrystalline LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1−x−y)O_(2)(NCM),combining experimental characterization and DFT simulations.Targeting the key degradation factors,a synergistic repair strategy based on deep mechanochemical activation and heat treatment was successfully proposed to direct regenerate the degradedNCMmaterial.Studies indicate the induction and promotion of synergistic repair technique on the reconstruction of particlemorphology,the recovery of the chemical composition and crystal structure,and the favorable transformation of the impurities phase in the failed materials.In particular,the synergistic repair process induces a gradient distribution of LiF and further enables partial fluorine doping into the NCM surface,forming abundant oxygen vacancies and increasing the content of highly reactive Ni2+.Benefiting from the comprehensive treatment for the multi-scale and multi-form degradation behaviors,the repaired material exhibits a capacity of 176.8 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 C,which is comparable to the corresponding commercial material(172.8 mA h g^(-1)).The satisfactory capacity of the recovered cathode proves that it is an effective direct renovating strategy.Shan Jin Jianquan Liang Deying Mu Tianning Lin Yuyang Tian Jian Zhang YueWang Meng Chen Qingmo Shi Changsong Dai 2023SusMat2023,3,3:1
2Activity of Brucea javanica oil emulsion against gastric ulcers in rodents显示文摘The present study aims to investigate the gastroprotective effect of Brucea javanica oil emulsion(BJOE) in animals. Gastroprotective potential of BJOE was studied on absolute ethanol,aspirin, reserpine and restraint plus water immersion-induced gastric ulcers in mice as well as glacial acetic acid(GAA) and pyloric ligation(PL)-induced gastric ulcers in rats. Except for ulcer scores, total acidity as well as pepsin activity as for the PL-induced gastric ulcer model and ulcer incidence as for the GAA-induced gastric ulcer model were also determined. Histopathological evaluation as for aspirin, reserpine, PL-induced models was conducted. Results showed that BJOE significantly(P < 0.05) reduced ulcer index in the mouse and rat models in a dose-dependent manner. It had significant(P < 0.05) suppressive effect on total activity of gastric juice as well in PL-induced model. Histopathological examination for the stomach samples confirmed the findings in the aspirin, reserpine or PLinduced gastric lesion models, which showed relatively complete mucosa structure and less inflammation. It is concluded that BJOE could be effective on gastric ulcer in rodents and its gastroprotective activity might be related to antioxidant, anti-inflammatory ability and promote gastric mucus secreted. 3Optical properties of Zn-diffused InP layers for the planar-type InGaAs/InP photodetectors显示文摘Zn diffusion into InP was carried out ex-situ using a new Zn diffusion technique with zinc phosphorus particles placed around InP materials as zinc source in a semi-closed chamber formed by a modified diffusion furnace.The optical characteristics of the Zn-diffused InP layer for the planar-type InGaAs/InP PIN photodetectors grown by molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) has been investigated by photoluminescence(PL) measurements. The temperature-dependent PL spectrum of Zn-diffused InP samples at different diffusion temperatures showed that band-to-acceptor transition dominates the PL emission, which indicates that Zn was commendably diffused into InP layer as the acceptor. High quality Zn-diffused InP layer with typically smooth surface was obtained at 580 °C for 10 min. Furthermore, more interstitial Zn atoms were activated to act as acceptors after a rapid annealing process.Based on the above Zn-diffusion technique, a 50 μm planar-type InGaAs/InP PIN photodector device was fabricated and exhibited a low dark current of 7.73 pA under a reverse bias potential of.5 V and a high breakdown voltage of larger than 41 V(I < 10 μA). 4Frustrated Lewis pairs in situ formation in B-based porous aromatic frameworks for efficient o-phenylenediamine cyclization显示文摘Benzimidazoles are very important chemical materials in the pharmaceutical industry,and the most common synthetic route is cyclization of o-phenylenediamine with carbon sources,in which utilization of inexpensive and abundant CO_(2)as C1 source is very impressive.Porous aromatic frameworks(PAFs)with highly desired skeletons have attracted great attentions in gas capture and catalysis.Herein,B-based PAF-165 and PAF-166 are designed and synthesized via Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction,which present high surface areas as well as high stability.Benefiting from the abundant electron-deficient B centers,both PAFs exhibit excellent selective CO_(2)adsorption abilities.The presence of sterically hindered B units in PAFs can act as Lewis acid active sites for the frustrated Lewis pairs(FLPs)in situ formation with ophenylenediamine,thus promoting the synthesis of benzimidazole.The optimal reaction conditions for o-phenylenediamine cyclization with PAF catalysts are explored,and the reaction mechanism is also proposed.This work provides feasible ideas for incorporating FLPs within porous materials as reusable heterogeneous catalysts for CO_(2)capture and conversion.Anqi Dai Shulin Li Tienan Wang Yuting Yang Yuyang Tian Xiaofei Jing Guangshan Zhu 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:0
5Recent progress and challenges in interdigital microbatteries:Fabrication, functionalization and integration显示文摘Currently,the increasing demands for portable,implantable,and wearable electronics have triggered the interest in miniaturized energy storage devices.Different from conventional energy storage devices,interdigital microbatteries(IMBs) are free of separators and prepared on a single substrate,potentially achieving a short ionic diffusion path and better performance.Meanwhile,they can be easily fabricated and integrated into on-chip miniaturized electronics,holding the promise to provide long-lasting power for advanced microelectronic devices.To date,while many seminal works have been reviewed the topic of microbatteries,there is no work that systematically summarizes the development of IMBs of high energy density and stable voltage platforms from fabrication,functionalization to integration.The current review focuses on the most recent progress in IMBs,discussing advanced micromachining techniques with compatible features to construct high-performance IMBs with smart functions and intelligent integrated systems.The future opportunities and challenges of IMBs are also highlighted,calling for more efforts in this dynamic and fast-growing research field.Li Song Xuting Jin Chunlong Dai Yuyang Han Jiatao Zhang Yang Zhao Zhipan Zhang Liangti Qu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3:0
6Crystalline Germanium-Dipyrromethene Radicals:from a Delocalized Neutral to a Localized Cation显示文摘Both dipyrromethene complexes and radicals of heavier main group elements have been of high interest.However,cationic germanium radicals and dipyrromethene-based radicals of heavier main group elements are still escaped to be isolated.Herein,we report the isolation and full characterization of a neutral Ge(I)-masked dipyrromethene-based radical 3 and the first cationic Ge(III)-centered radical 5^(·+)as stable crystalline solids.3 behaves as a germanium(I)radical in its reaction with diphenyl disulfide to form the Ge-S bond,although X-ray crystallographic,EPR spectroscopic,computational studies revealed that the unpaired electron of 3 is mainly delocalized over the C_(9)N_(2)Ge backbone and the allylic radical character is also significant in 3.In contrast to 3,the spin density of 5^(·+)is mainly localized at the Ge center with minor contribution from the dipyrromethene ligand.Moreover,reduction of 5^(·+)with potassium graphite quantitatively regenerates 5,illustrating a reversible one-electron redox pair.Yuyang Dai Manling Bao Wenjuan Wang Zhuofeng Xie Chunmeng Liu Yuanting Su 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,20:0
7Isolable Bis-BN-Based Analogues of Müller's Hydrocarbon显示文摘Müller's hydrocarbon and its analogues are classical examples of Kekulé diradicaloids and have gained great attention.However,because of their high reactivities,their isolation and structural characterizations are still challenging.Herein,we report the isolation of two bis-BN-based analogues of Müller's hydrocarbon (1 and 2) as crystalline solids in moderate yields.Experimental results and theoretical studies demonstrated that compound 1 possessing the terminal 1,3,2-diazaboryl groups is an open-shell singlet diradicaloid,which is in contrast to the closed-shell singlet ground states of the bis-BN-based analogues of Thiele's and Chichibabin's hydrocarbons with the same terminal groups,illustrating the strong influence of the central linkers on the ground state.Additionally,the replacement of the terminal 1,3,2-diazaboryl groups in 1 with the bis(2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl)boryl groups affords 2 with higher diradical character and a smaller singlet-triplet energy gap.Sha Xu Zhuofeng Xie Yuyang Dai Xiaona Liu Qidi Bao Chunmeng Liu Yuanting Su 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,23:0
8National Perinatal Prevalence of Selected Major Birth Defects--China,2010−2018显示文摘Introduction:An estimated of 900,000 infants are born with birth defects each year in China causing a substantial disease burden.This study aimed to depict the epidemiological patterns of selected major birth defects in Chinese perinatal births and provide important baseline data for future prevention.Methods:Data from the Chinese Birth Defects Monitoring Network(CBDMN)during 2010–2018 were used to analyze the epidemiological pattern in the prevalence of 15 major birth defects and the trends over time.Results:In the period of 2010–2018,the top 10 most frequently-occurring birth defects in China included congenital heart diseases(CHDs),polydactyly,cleft lip with or without palate(CL/P),club foot,syndactyly,hydrocephalus,hypospadias,limb reduction defects(LRD),anotia/microtia,and anorectal atresia/stenosis.There was a decrease in the prevalence of neural tube defects,CL/P,hydrocephalus,LRD,gastroschisis,and omphalocele,but there were increases in the prevalence of CHDs,cleft palate,hypospadias,club foot,polydactyly,and syndactyly.The prevalence of most birth defects varied significantly by maternal age,area types(urban/rural),and geographic regions.Conclusions and Implications for Public Health Practice:The findings indicated that the comprehensive prevention of birth defects should focus on these selected birth defects,elderly pregnant women,rural areas,and western regions.Wenli Xu Changfei Deng Wenyan Li Ke Wang Jing Tao Yuyang Gao Xiaohong Li Yanping Wang Juan Liang Jun Zhu Hanmin Liu Li Dai 2020China CDC weekly2020,2,37:0

10Protective effect of 4-methyl-2-{[4-(toluene-4-sulfonyl)-thiomorpholine-3-carbonyl]-amino}-pentanoic acid isopropyl ester against cerebral ischemia显示文摘To investigate the effects of 4-methyl-2-{[4-(toluene-4-sulfonyl)-thiomorpholine-3-carbonyl]-amino}-pentanoic acid isopropyl ester(HD5-6)against cerebral ischemia in rodents,the models with global and focal ischemia were induced by bilateral common carotid artery occlusion plus hypotension(BCAOH)and permanent cerebral artery occlusion(p-MCAO)in mice(n=10–12 per group in BCAOH;n=8 per group in p-MCAO)and rats(n=10-11 in each group).HD5-6 prolonged lifetime and improved neurological function.Neurological deficits score in HD5-6(30 mg/kg)decreased significantly.Malonaldehyde(MDA)in HD5-6-treated mice with ischemia considerably dropped.The infarction volume of the HD5-6-treated rats with MCAO-induced ischemia decreased significantly in the high dose group(P<0.05,i.g.and P<0.01,i.v.).Immunohistochemistry showed that Brain derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)in the ipsilateral hemisphere increased and Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)decreased with HD5-6 treatment.HD5-6 has protective effects against experimental cerebral ischemia in rodents and the action mechanism may involve anti-oxidation and neurogenesis.Tinghui Zhang Yihan Wang Xin Li Jinwei Dai Quankun Zhuang Xirui Song Junhai Xiao Lili Wang Yuyang Zhang 2021Asian Journal of Traditional Medicines2021,16,3:0
11Design, synthesis and antitumor evaluations of nucleoside base hydroxamic acid derivatives as DNMT and HDAC dual inhibitors显示文摘DNA methyl transferase(DNMT) and histone deacetylase(HDAC) are well recognized epigenetic targets for discovery of antitumor agents.In this study,we designed and synthesized a series of nucleoside base hydroxamic acid derivatives as DNMT and HDAC dual inhibitors.MTT assays and enzymatic inhibitory activity tests indicated that compound 204 exhibited potent DNMT1 and HDAC1/6 inhibitory potency simultaneously in enzymatic levels and at cellular levels,inducing hypomethylation of p16 and hyperacetylation of histones H_(3) K9 and H4 K8.Besides,204 remarkably inhibited proliferation against cancer cells U937 by prompting G0/G1 cell cycle arrest.Molecular docking models explained the functional mechanism of 204 inhibiting DNMT1 and HDAC.Preliminary studies on metabolic profiles revealed that 204 showed desirable stability in liver microsomes.Our study suggested that 204 inhibiting DNMT and HDAC concurrently can be a potential lead compound for epigenetic cancer therapy.Qinsheng Sun Qiuzi Dai Cunlong Zhang Yan Chen Lei Zhao Zigao Yuan Yuyang Jiang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,8:0
