| 1 | Extraction and Analysis of Gully Head of Loess Plateau in China Based on Digital Elevation Model显示文摘In China′s Loess Plateau area, gully head is the most active zone of a drainage system in gully areas. The differentiation of loess gully head follows geospatial patterns and reflects the process of the loess landform development and evolution of its drainage system to some extent. In this study, the geomorphic meaning, basic characteristics, morphological structure and the basic types of loess gully heads were systematically analysed. Then, the loess gully head′s conceptual model was established, and an extraction method based on Digital Elevation Model(DEM) for loess gully head features and elements was proposed. Through analysing the achieved statistics of loess gully head features, loess gully heads have apparently similar and different characteristics depending on the different loess landforms where they are found. The loess head characteristics reflect their growth period and evolution tendency to a certain degree, and they indirectly represent evolutionary mechanisms. In addition, the loess gully developmental stages and the evolutionary processes can be deduced by using loess gully head characteristics. | 2 | Influence of N on precipitation behavior,associated corrosion and mechanical properties of super austenitic stainless steel S32654显示文摘The influence of N on the precipitation behavior,associated corrosion,and mechanical properties of S32654 were investigated by microstructural,electrochemical,and mechanical analyses.Increasing the N content results in several alterations:(1) grain refinement,which promotes intergranular precipitation;(2) a linear increase in the driving force for Cr2 N and Mo activity,which accelerates the precipitation of intergranular Cr2 N and π phase,respectively;(3) a linear decrease in the driving force for σ phase and Cr activity,which suppresses the formation of intragranular σ phase.The total amount of precipitates first decreased and then increased with the N content increasing.Furthermore,the intergranular corrosion susceptibility depended substantially on the total amount of precipitates and also first exhibited a decreasing and then an increasing trend as the N content increased.In addition,aging precipitation caused a considerable decrement in the ultimate tensile strength(UTS) and a remarkable increment in the yield strength(YS).Both the UTS and YS always increased with N content increasing throughout the solution and aging process.Whereas the elongation was considerably sensitive to the aging treatment,it exhibited marginal variation with the N content increasing. | Shucai Zhang Huabing Li Zhouhua Jiang Zhixing Li Jingxi Wu Binbin Zhang Fei Duan Hao Feng Hongchun Zhu | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,42,7: | 10 |
| 3 | Effect of nitrogen on corrosion behaviour of a novel high nitrogen medium-entropy alloy CrCoNiN manufactured by pressurized metallurgy显示文摘A novel high nitrogen medium-entropy alloy CrCoNiN, which had higher strength and slightly lower ductility than CrCoNi alloy, was successfully manufactured by pressurized metallurgy. The microstructure and corrosion behaviour were investigated by microscopic, electrochemical and spectroscopic methods.The results indicated that nitrogen existed in the form of Cr_2N precipitates and uniformly distributed N atoms, and nitrogen alloying significantly refined the grain size. Besides, nitrogen enriched on the outmost surface of passive film and metal/film interface as ammonia(NH-_3 and NH_4^+) and CrN, respectively. | 5 | Refinement mechanism of cerium addition on solidification structure and sigma phase of super austenitic stainless steel S32654显示文摘The influence of Ce addition on the solidification structure and σphase of super austenitic stainless steel S32654 was systematically investigated via microstructural characterization and thermodynamic calcula- tion. The results indicate that a small addition of Ce could modify MgO and MnS into Ce-bearing inclu- sions Ce_(2)O_(3)and Ce_(2)O_(2)S. Ce addition led to noticeable refinement of both the dendrite structure and σphase. The refinement mechanism could be attributed to the combined actions of effective Ce-bearing inclusions and solute Ce. Effective Ce-bearing inclusions could serve as heterogeneous nucleation cores of austenite as well as σphase, which provided a favorable prerequisite for their refinement. Solute Ce significantly enhanced the undercooling degree of the system, further promoting dendrite structure re- finement. Meanwhile, solute Ce improved the eutectic precipitation conditions of σphase and further promoted its nucleation, while the dendrite refinement limited its growth space. Finally, more fine and dispersed σphase particles formed in S32654 with Ce addition. | 7 | Three Decades of Sea-Ice Variability in Jiaozhou Bay Revealed by Landsat Observations显示文摘In this study, we used Landsat images and meteorological data to examine the spatiotemporal distribution and variability of sea ice in Jiaozhou Bay(JZB) between 1986 and 2016. The results show that JZB is not always covered by sea ice in winter, but in some extreme cases, sea ice has covered more than one-third of the sea area of the bay. Sea ice in JZB has generally formed between January 1 and February 5, primarily along the coast, and gradually expanding to the central area of the bay. Both meteorological and artificial factors have played important roles in modulating the sea ice distribution. We found sea ice coverage to have been strongly correlated with the accumulated freezing-degree days nine days before the occurrence of sea ice(R2 = 0.767). North-northwest surface winds have dominated the freezing period of sea water in the JZB, and wind speed has exerted a more significant influence on the formation of sea ice when the sea ice coverage has been generally small. Additionally, artificial factors began to affect the expansion of sea ice in JZB since 2007. | 8 | Landform classification based on optimal texture feature extraction from DEM data in Shandong Hilly Area, China显示文摘Texture and its analysis methods are crucial for image feature extraction and classification. Digital elevation model (DEM) is the most important data source of digital terrain analysis and landform classification, and considerable research values are gained from texture feature extraction and analysis from DEM data. In this research, on the basis of optimal texture feature extraction, the hilly area in Shandong, China, was selected as the study area, and DEM data with a resolution of 500 m were used as the experimental data for landform classification. First, second-order texture measures and texture image were extracted from DEM data by using a gray level cooccurrence matrix (GLCM). Second, the variation characteristics of each texture measure were analyzed, and the optimal feature parameters, such as direction, gray level, and texture window, were determined. Meanwhile, the texture feature value, combined with maximum information, was calculated, and the multiband texture image was obtained by resolving three optimal texture measure images. Finally, a support vector machine (SVM) method was adopted to classify landforms on the basis of the multiband texture image. Results indicated that the texture features of DEM data can be sufficiently represented and measured via the quantitative GLCM method. However, the feature parameters during the texture feature value calculation required further optimization. | 9 | Enhanced strength and toughness of high nitrogen stainless bearing steel by controlling interstitial partitioning via V-microalloying显示文摘High-nitrogen stainless bearing steel(HNSBS)with ultra-high tensile strength(∼2403 MPa)and good toughness(∼80.0 J)was obtained by V-microalloying,overcoming the strength-toughness trade-off of conventional V-free HNSBS.In this work,since V-microalloying facilitated the enrichment of interstitial atoms(C and N)in precipitates,the content of interstitial atoms in the matrix was reduced accordingly(i.e.,interstitial partitioning).On the one hand,V-microalloying reduced the substantial intergranular precipitates and transformed the precipitates from M_(23)C_(6)+M_(2)N into V-containing M_(23)C_(6)+M_(2)N+MN with multi-scale particle sizes,causing a coupling strengthening effect,which contributed to the toughness and additional strength increase.On the other hand,V-microalloying controlled interstitial partitioning,effectively refined coarse retained austenite(RA),increased the fraction of dislocation martensite,and reduced the fraction of twin martensite.The more film-like RA and dislocation martensite with high dislocation density coordinated plastic deformation and prevented crack propagation,thus obviously enhancing the strength and toughness of 0.2 V steel.This study provides a new route to develop high-performance HNSBS for aerospace applications. | Lingfeng Xia Huabing Li Hao Feng Zhouhua Jiang Hongchun Zhu Shucai Zhang Xiaodong Wang | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,20: | 1 |

The results show that the 3 caves began to uplift (358±38) ka, (247±28) ka, (118±19) ka ago respectively. Given the differences of elevation between the caves, we could obtain the downcutting rates of the valley: (0.23±0.02) mm/a during 358 -247 ka, (0.19±0.03) mm/a during 247-118 ka, and (0.51(0.08) mm/a since 118 ka. | 16 | Deep learning of DEM image texture for landform classification in the Shandong area,China显示文摘Landforms are an important element of natural geographical environment,and textures are the research basis for the spatial differentiation,evolution features,and analysis rules of the landform.Using the regional difference of texture to describe the spatial distribution pattern of macro landform features is helpful to the landform classification and identification.Digital elevation model(DEM)image texture,which gives full expression to texture difference,is key data source to reflect the surface features and landform classification.Following the texture analysis,landform features analysis is assistant to different landforms classification,even in landform boundary.With the increasing accuracy requirement of landform information acquisition in geomorphic thematic mapping,hierarchical landform classification has become the focus and difficulty in research.Recently,the pattern recognition represented by Convolutional Neural Network has made great achievements in landform research,whose multichannel feature fusion structure satisfies the network structure of different landform classification.In this paper,DEM image texture was taken as the data source,and gray level co-occurrence matrix was applied to extract texture measures.Owing to the similarity of similar landform and the difference of different landform in a certain scale,a comprehensive texture factor reflecting landform features was proposed,and the spatial distribution pattern of landform features was systematically analyzed.On this basis,the coupling relationship between texture and landform type was explored.Thus,the deep learning method of Convolutional Neural Network is used to train the texture features,and the second-class landform classification is carried out through softmax.The classification results in small relief and mid-relief low mountains,overall accuracy are 84.35%and 69.95%respectively,while kappa coefficient are 0.72 and 0.40 respectively,were compared to that of traditional unsupervised landform classification results,and the superiority of Convolutional Neural Network classification was verified,it approximately improved 6%in overall accuracy and 0.4 in kappa coefficient. | Yuexue XU Hongchun ZHU Changyu HU Haiying LIU Yu CHENG | 2022 | Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,2: | 0 |
