| 1 | Crosstalk network among multiple inflammatory mediators in liver fibrosis显示文摘Liver fibrosis is the common pathological basis of all chronic liver diseases,and is the necessary stage for the progression of chronic liver disease to cirrhosis.As one of pathogenic factors,inflammation plays a predominant role in liver fibrosis via communication and interaction between inflammatory cells,cytokines,and the related signaling pathways.Damaged hepatocytes induce an increase in proinflammatory factors,thereby inducing the development of inflammation.In addition,it has been reported that inflammatory response related signaling pathway is the main signal transduction pathway for the development of liver fibrosis.The crosstalk regulatory network leads to hepatic stellate cell activation and proinflammatory cytokine production,which in turn initiate the fibrotic response.Compared with the past,the research on the pathogenesis of liver fibrosis has been greatly developed.However,the liver fibrosis mechanism is complex and many pathways involved need to be further studied.This review mainly focuses on the crosstalk regulatory network among inflammatory cells,cytokines,and the related signaling pathways in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory liver diseases.Moreover,we also summarize the recent studies on the mechanisms underlying liver fibrosis and clinical efforts on the targeted therapies against the fibrotic response. | Han-Jing Zhangdi Si-Biao Su Fei Wang Zi-Yu Liang Yu-Dong Yan Shan-Yu Qin Hai-Xing Jiang | 2019 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2019,25,33: | 17 |
| 2 | Recent progress and future prospects of oil-absorbing materials显示文摘Oil and organic solvent contamination, derived from oil spills and organic solvent leakage, has been recognized as one of the major environmental issues imposing a serious threat to both human and ecosystem health. Among the various presented technologies applied for oil/water separation, oil absorption process has been explored widely and offers satisfactory results especially with surface modified oil-absorbing material and/or hybrid absorbents. In this review, we summarize the recent research activities involved in the designing strategies of oil-absorbing absorbents and their application in oil absorption. Then, an extensive list of various oil-absorbing materials from literature, including polymer materials, porous inorganic materials and biomass materials, has been compiled and the oil adsorption capacities toward various types of oils and organic solvents as available in the literature are presented along with highlighting and discussing the various factors involved in the designing of oil-absorbing absorbents tested so far for oil/water separation. | 3 | SARS epidemical forecast research in mathematical model显示文摘The SIJR model, simplified from the SEIJR model, is adopted to analyze the important parameters of the model of SARS epidemic such as the transmission rate, basic reproductive number. And some important parameters are obtained such as the transmission rate by applying this model to analyzing the situation in Hong Kong, Singapore and Canada at the outbreak of SARS. Then forecast of the transmission of SARS is drawn out here by the adjustment of parameters (such as quarantined rate) in the model. It is obvious that inflexion lies on the crunode of the graph, which indicates the big difference in transmission characteristics between the epidemic under control and not under control. This model can also be used in the comparison of the control effectiveness among different regions. The results from this model match well with the actual data in Hong Kong, Singa- pore and Canada and as a by-product, the index of the effec- tiveness of control in the later period can be acquired.
