2Nitrogen Deposition and Its Spatial Pattern in Main Forest Ecosystems along North-South Transect of Eastern China显示文摘A continuous three-year observation(from May 2008 to April 2011)was conducted to characterize the spatial variation of dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN)deposition at eight main forest ecosystems along the north-south transect of eastern China(NSTEC).The results show that both throughfall DIN deposition and bulk DIN deposition increase from north to south along the NSTEC.Throughfall DIN deposition varies greatly from 2.7 kg N/(ha·yr)to 33.0 kg N/(ha·yr),with an average of 10.6 kg N/(ha·yr),and bulk DIN deposition ranges from 4.1 kg N/(ha·yr)to 25.4 kg N/(ha·yr),with an average of 9.8 kg N/(ha·yr).NH4+-N is the dominant form of DIN deposition at most sampling sites.Additionally,the spatial variation of DIN deposition is controlled mainly by precipitation.Moreover,in the northern part of the NSTEC,bulk DIN deposition is 17%higher than throughfall DIN deposition,whereas the trend is opposite in the southern part of the NSTEC.The results demonstrate that DIN deposition would likely threaten the forest ecosystems along the NSTEC,compared with the critical loads(CL)of N deposition,and DIN deposition in this region is mostly controlled by agricultural activities rather than industrial activities or transportation.ZHAN Xiaoyun YU Guirui HE Nianpeng FANG Huajun JIA Bingrui ZHOU Mei WANG Chuankuan ZHANG Junhui ZHAO Guangdong WANG Silong LIU Yunfen YAN Junhua 2014Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,2:10
3A low-carbon oriented probabilistic approach for transmission expansion planning显示文摘Following the deregulation of the power industry,transmission expansion planning(TEP)has become more complicated due to the presence of uncertainties and conflicting objectives in a market environment.Also,the growing concern on global warming highlights the importance of considering carbon pricing policies during TEP.In this paper,a probabilistic TEP approach is proposed with the integration of a chance constrained load curtailment index.The formulated dynamic programming problem is solved by a hybrid solution algorithm in an iterative process.The performance of our approach is demonstrated by case studies on a modified IEEE 14-bus system.Simulation results prove that our approach can provide network planners with comprehensive information regarding effects of uncertainties on TEP schemes,allowing them to adjust planning strategies based on their risk aversion levels or financial constraints.Jing QIU Zhaoyang DONG Junhua ZHAO Ke MENG Fengji LUO Kit Po WONG Chao LU 2015Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2015,3,1:8
4Multi-agent modeling and analysis of EV users' travel willingness based on an integrated causal/statistical/behavioral model显示文摘An electric vehicle(EV) centred ecosystem has not yet been formed, the existing limited statistic data are far from enough for the analysis of EV users' travel and charge behaviors, which however tends to be affected by many certain and uncertain factors. An experimental economics(EE)-based simulation method can be used to analyze thebehaviors of key participants in a system. However, it is restricted by the system size, experimental site and the number of qualified human participants. Therefore, this method is hard to be adopted for the behavioral analysis of a large number of human participants. In this paper, a new method combining a questionnaire statistics and the EEbased simulation is proposed. The causal relationship is considered in the design of the questionnaires and data extraction, then a multi-agent modeling integration method is introduced in the EE-based simulation, which enables the integration of causal/statistical/behavioral models into the multi-agent framework to reflect the EV users' travel willingness statistically. 5Spatial-temporal variation of phytoplankton community structure in Jiaozhou Bay, China显示文摘To better understand the spatial-temporal variation in phytoplankton community structure and its controlling factors in Jiaozhou Bay, Qingdao, North China, four seasonal sampling were carried out in 2017. The phytoplankton community structure and various environmental parameters were examined. The phytoplankton community in the bay was composed of mainly diatoms and dinofl agellates, and several other species of Chrysophyta were also observed. Diatoms were the most dominant phytoplankton group throughout the year, except in spring and winter, when Noctiluca scintillans was co-dominant. High Si/N ratios in summer and fall refl ect the high dominance of diatoms in the two seasons. Temporally, the phytoplankton cell abundance peaked in summer, due mainly to the high temperatures and nutrient concentrations in summer. Spatially, the phytoplankton cell abundance was higher in the northern part of the bay than in the other parts of the bay in four seasons. The diatom cell abundances show signifi cant positive correlations with the nutrient concentrations, while the dinofl agellate cell abundances show no correlation or a negative correlation with the nutrient concentrations but a signifi cant positive correlation with the stratifi cation index. This discrepancy was mainly due to the diff erent survival strategies between diatoms and dinofl agellates. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index ( H′) values in the bay ranged from 0.08 to 4.18, which fell in the range reported in historical studies. The distribution pattern of H′ values was quite diff erent from that of chlorophyll a , indicating that the phytoplankton community structure might have high biomass with a low diversity index. 6Synthesis of water-soluble Cu nanoparticles and evaluation of their tribological properties and thermal conductivity as a water-based additive显示文摘Efficient and sustainable use of water-based lubricants is essential for energy efficiency.Therefore,the use of water-lubricated mechanical systems instead of conventional oil lubricants is extremely attractive from the viewpoint of resource conservation.In this study,water-soluble Cu nanoparticles of size approximately 3 nm were prepared at room temperature(around 25 °C) via in-situ surface modification.The tribological behavior of the as-synthesized Cu nanoparticles as an additive in distilled water was evaluated using a universal micro-tribotester.The results show that the as-synthesized Cu nanoparticles,as a water-based lubricant additive,can significantly improve the tribological properties of distilled water.In particular,the lowest friction coefficient of 0.06 was obtained via lubrication with a concentration of 0.6 wt% of Cu nanoparticles in distilled water,which is a reduction of 80.6% compared with that obtained via lubrication with distilled water alone.It is considered that some Cu nanoparticles entered the contact area of the friction pairs to form a complex lubricating film and prevent direct contact of the friction pairs.Furthermore,some Cu nanoparticles in the solution accelerate the heat transfer process,which also results in good tribological properties.Junhua ZHAO Guangbin YANG Chunli ZHANG Yujuan ZHANG Shengmao ZHANG Pingyu ZHANG 2019Friction2019,7,3:6
7Study on the focal mechanism of the M5. 1 Badong earthquake in Hubei显示文摘The focal mechanism solutions of the M5. 1 Badong earthquake and subsequent 34 aftershocks at ML2. 0 or more were calculated using the P-wave first motion method; the main earthquake was normal fault dip slip type,and the slip types of the seismogenic rupture surfaces of the subsequent aftershocks primarily include normal dip slip( 14 times),reverse dip slip( 9 times),normal strike slip( 9 times) and reverse strike slip( 2 times). 8The normal cell proliferation and wound healing effect of polysaccharides from Ganoderma amboinense显示文摘To study the cell proliferation and wound healing activity of polysaccharides from Ganoderma amboinense(GAMPS),the polysaccharide was extracted by water extraction and alcohol precipitation method,and its monosaccharide composition and molecular weight were analyzed.The effects of different concentrations of GAMPS on the cell proliferation were determined by cell survival rate test,and the wound healing ability of GAMPS to NIH/3T3 cells was detected.The preliminary evaluation of the antioxidant ability of GAMPS was conducted by the oxygen radical absorbance capacity(ORAC).The results showed that the GAMPS was composed of glucose,mannose,and galactose at a molar ratio of 67.62:14.07:7.50,and the weightaverage molecular weights were 5.439×10^(6) and 1.704×10^(5) g/mol by using high-performance gel-permeation chromatography-multiple angle laser scatter(HPGPC-MALS)analysis.GAMPS(0.2μg/μL)showed the strongest proliferation ability to THP-1 cells,with cell survival rate of 178.7%.The wound healing effect of GAMPS(0.1μg/μL)was obvious on NIH/3T3 and 3.75μg/μL of GAMPS showed the strongest total antioxidant ability.All the results indicate that GAMPS promotes cell proliferation,and has cell wound healing effect and strong antioxidant activity.The results provide theoretical foundation for the development and utilization of GAMPS.Shuangzhi Zhao Ming Lei Hui Xu Hailun He Alexander Suvorov Junhua Wang Jiying Qiu Qingxin Zhou Jinyu Yang Leilei Chen 2021Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,4:4

11Second organic aerosol formation by irradiation of α-pinene-NO_x-H_2O in an indoor smog chamber for atmospheric chemistry and physics显示文摘Ozone(O3) and secondary organic aerosol(SOA) are considered to be the most serious secondary air pollutants of concern in most metropolitan areas,as well as for Beijing.In this study,O3 and SOA for-mation potential of α-pinene,the most abundant biogenic VOCs,is investigated at Tsinghua Indoor Chamber Facility.The experiments were conducted under atmospheric relevant HCs/NOx ratios in both presence and absence of ammonia sulfate seed aerosol.A Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer system(3936,TSI) and a Condensation Particle Counter(3010,TSI) were used to study the SOA formation and a gas chromatograph(GC) equipped with a DB-5 column and a flame ionization detector(FID) was used to measure α-pinene simultaneously.The results show that the presence of ammonia sulfate seed aerosol did not change the formation trend of O3,but significantly contribute to SOA formation.A strong linear relationship(r2 = 0.90) between SOA yield enhancement(△Y*) and surface concentration of seed aerosol(PMi,s)has been found,denoting that the PMi,s is the control factor for SOA yield en-hancement.And the possible reason for the enhancement is acid-catalyzed heterogeneous reactions.ZHAO Zhe HAO JiMing LI JunHua WU Shan 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,21:4
12Study on the Technology of Supplying Water Safely by Long-Distance Pipeline显示文摘The extensively built long-distance water transmission pipelines have become the main water sources for urban areas. To ensure the reliability and safety of the water supply, from the viewpoint of overall management, it would be necessary to establish a system of information management for the pipeline. The monitoring, calculating and analyzing functions of the system serve to give controlling instructions and safe operating rules to the automatic equipment and technician, making sure the resistance coefficient distribution along the pipeline is reasonable; the hydraulic state transition is smooth when operating conditions change or water supply accidents occur, avoiding the damage of water hammer. 13Timing,Displacement and Growth Pattern of the Altyn Tagh Fault:A Review显示文摘The Altyn Tagh Fault(ATF) is the longest, lithospheric scale and strike-slip fault in East Asia. In the last three decades, multidisciplinary studies focusing on the timing, displacement of strikeslip and growth mechanics of the ATF have made great progresses. Most studies revealed that the ATF is a sinistral strike-slip and thrust fault, which underwent multiple episodes of activation. The fault is oriented NEE with a length of 1600 km, but the direction, timing of activity and magnitude of its extension eastward are still unclear. The AFT was predominately active during the Mesozoic and Cenozoic, in relation to the Mesozoic collision of the Cimmerian continent(Qiangtang and Lhasa block) and Cenozoic collision of India with Asia. The AFT strike-slipped with a left-lateral displacement of ca. 400 km during the Cenozoic and the displacement were bigger in the western segment and stronger in the early stage of fault activation. The slip-rates in the Quaternary were bigger in the middle segment than in the western and eastern segment. We roughly estimated the Mesozoic displacement as ca. 150-300 km. The latest paleomagnetic data showed that the clockwise vertical-axis rotation did not take place in the huge basins(the Tarim and Qaidam) at both side of ATF during the Cenozoic, but the rotation happened in the small basins along the ATF. This rotation may play an important role on accommodating the tectonic deformation and displacement of the ATF. 14Effect of applied potential on the microstructure, composition and corrosion resistance evolution of fluoride conversion film on AZ31 magnesium alloy显示文摘AZ31 magnesium(Mg) alloy was potentiostatic polarized in 0.1 M deaerated KF solution with pH 7.5 from-0.4 V to-1.4 V with an interval of-0.2 V. The polarization process was described by the potentiostatic current decay. The resultant film was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS). The results demonstrated that the deposited film included a Mg(OH)_2/MgF_2 containing inner layer and a Mg(OH)-2/MgF_2/KMgF_3 comprising outer layer. The high polarized potential produced high content of MgF_2 but low content of KMgF_3 and thin film. Conversely, the low polarized potential produced small content of MgF_2 but high content of KMgF_3 and thick film. 15Comparative WGBS identifies genes that influence non-ripe phenotype in tomato epimutant Colourless non-ripening显示文摘Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing(WGBS)allows single-base resolution and genome-wide profiling of DNA methylation in plants and animals.This technology provides a powerful tool to identify genes that are potentially controlled by dynamic changes of DNA methylation and demethylation.However,naturally occurring epimutants are rare and genes under epigenetic regulation as well as their biological relevances are often difficult to define.In tomato,fruit development and ripening are a complex process that involves epigenetic control.We have taken the advantage of the tomato epimutant Colourless non-ripening(Cnr)and performed comparative mining of the WGBS datasets for the Cnr and Sl CMT3-silenced Cnr fruits.We compared DNA methylation profiles for the promoter sequences of approximately 5,000 bp immediately upstream of the coding region of a list of20 genes.Differentially methylated regions were found for some of these genes.Virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)of differentially methylated gene Sl DET1 or Sl PDS resulted in unusual brown pigmentation in Cnr fruits.These results suggest that comparative WGBS coupled with VIGS can be used to identify genes that may contribute to the colourless unripe phenotype of fruit in the Cnr epimutant.Weiwei Chen Zhiming Yu Junhua Kong Hui Wang Yichen Li Mei Zhao Xiaohong Wang Qianqian Zheng Nongnong Shi Pengcheng Zhang Silin Zhong Paul Hunter Mahmut Tor Yiguo Hong 2018Science China(Life Sciences)2018,61,2:3

17Predicting lean blow-off of bluffbody stabilized flames based on Damkohler number显示文摘Lean Blow-Off(LBO) prediction is important to propulsion system design. In this paper,a hybrid method combining numerical simulation and Da(Damk?hler) model is proposed based on bluffbody stabilized flames. In the simulated reacting flow, Practical Reaction Zone(PRZ) is built based on OH radical concentration, and it is considered to be the critical zone that controls LBO.Da number is obtained based on the volume-averaged parameters of PRZ. The flow time scale(s_f)indicates the residence time of the fresh mixture flowing through the PRZ. It is obtained based on the characteristic length and volume-averaged axial velocity of the PRZ. The chemical time scale(s_c) indicates the shortest time needed to trigger the reaction of the mixture. It is obtained by commercial software CHEMKIN through monitoring the transient variation of the reactor temperature. The result shows that the average Da number under different LBO conditions is 1.135(the Da number under each LBO condition ranges from 0.673 to 1.351). This indicates that the flow time scale and chemical time scale are comparable. The combustion is in a critical state where LBO is easy to occur. With the increase of the fuel mass flow rate(the global fuel/air ratio increases from 0.004761 to 0.01095), s_f increases from 0.001268 s to 0.007249 s, and s_c decreases from 0.00124 s to0.00089 s. Accordingly, Da number increases from 1.023 to 8.145, which shows that the combustion becomes more stable. 20Transferability of Microsatellite Markers from Brachypodium distachyon to Miscanthus sinensis,a Potential Biomass Crop显示文摘Miscanthus sinensis has high biomass yield and contributed two of the three genomes in M.x giganteus,a bioenergy crop widely studied in Europe and North America,and thus is a potential biomass crop and an important germplasm for Miscanthus breeding.Molecular markers are essential for germplasm evaluation,genetic analyses and new cultivar development in M.sinensis.In the present study,we reported transferability of simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers from Brachypodium distachyon to M.sinensis.A set of 57 SSR markers evenly distributed across the B.distachyon genome were deliberately designed.Out of these B.distachyon SSR markers,86.0% are transferable to M.sinensis.The SSR loci amplified in M.sinensis were validated by re-sequencing the amplicons.The polymorphism information content (PIC) of the transferable SSR markers varied from 0.073 to 0.375 with a mean of 0.263,assessed based on 21 M.sinensis genotypes.Phylogenetic tree based on 162 alleles detected by 49 SSR markers could unambiguously distinguish B.distachyon from M.sinensis,and cluster 21 M.sinensis genotypes into three groups that are basically in coincidence with their geographical distribution and ecotype classifications.The markers developed by the comparative genomic approach could be useful for germplasm evaluation,genetic analysis,and marker-assisted breeding in Miscanthus.Hua Zhao Jiangyan Yu Frank M.
