5Bessel Terahertz Pulses from Superluminal Laser Plasma Filaments显示文摘Terahertz radiation with a Bessel beam profile is demonstrated experimentally from a two-color laser filament in air,which is induced by tailored femtosecond laser pulses with an axicon.The temporal and spatial distributions of Bessel rings of the terahertz radiation are retrieved after being collected in the far field.A theoretical model is proposed,which suggests that such Bessel terahertz pulses are produced due to the combined effects of the inhomogeneous superluminal flament structure and the phase change of the two-color laser components inside the plasma channel.These two efects lead to wavefront crossover and constructive/destructive interference of terahertz radiation from different plasma sources along the laser flament,respectively.Compared with other methods,our technique can support the generation of Bessel pulses with broad spectral bandwidth.Such Bessel pulses can propagate to the far field without significant spatial spreading,which shall provide new opportunities for terahertz applications.Zhelin Zhang Jiayang Zhang Yanping Chen Tianhao Xia Linzheng Wang Bonan Han Feng He Zhengming Sheng Jie Zhang 2022Ultrafast Science2022,,1:0
6Robust State Estimation of Active Distribution Networks with Multi-source Measurements显示文摘The volatile and intermittent nature of distributed generators(DGs) in active distribution networks(ADNs) increases the uncertainty of operating states. The introduction of distribution phasor measurement units(D-PMUs) enhances the monitoring level. The trade-offs of computational performance and robustness of state estimation in monitoring the network states are of great significance for ADNs with D-PMUs and DGs. This paper proposes a second-order cone programming(SOCP) based robust state estimation(RSE) method considering multi-source measurements. Firstly, a linearized state estimation model related to the SOCP state variables is formulated. The phase angle measurements of D-PMUs are converted to equivalent power measurements. Then, a revised SOCP-based RSE method with the weighted least absolute value estimator is proposed to enhance the convergence and bad data identification. Multi-time slots of D-PMU measurements are utilized to improve the estimation accuracy of RSE. 8How to prevent and control community risks?Identifying community burglary risk hotspots based on time-space characteristics显示文摘Community security and risk management is essential for urban governance.To identify community risks more accurately,the space-time characteristics of community burglary cases in a community located in C city are analyzed in this study based on data from 2018 to 2020 using the hot police theory.The results are as follows:(1)In terms of time,the occurrence of theft cases is closely related to seasonal changes and daily work and rest and is affected by social activities.(2)In terms of space,the type of community and surrounding environment affect the generation and distribution of household theft hotspots,while urban planning and reconstruction cause the dissipation and transfer of hotspots.Therefore,to prevent and control risk,infrastructure and urban environment renovation should be carried out,community governance efficiency should be improved,and police work mode should be transformed to avoid potential hotspots,except for targeted interventions on existing hotspots.Yi Liu Zhelin Cheng Xingchen Li 2023Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2023,4,2:0

10Tantalum pentoxide:a new material platform for high-performance dielectric metasurface optics in the ultraviolet and visible region显示文摘Dielectric metasurfaces,composed of planar arrays of subwavelength dielectric structures that collectively mimic the operation of conventional bulk optical elements,have revolutionized the field of optics by their potential in constructing high-efficiency and multi-functional optoelectronic systems on chip.The performance of a dielectric metasurface is largely determined by its constituent material,which is highly desired to have a high refractive index,low optical loss and wide bandgap,and at the same time,be fabrication friendly.Here,we present a new material platform based on tantalum pentoxide(Ta2O5)for implementing high-performance dielectric metasurface optics over the ultraviolet and visible spectral region.This wide-bandgap dielectric,exhibiting a high refractive index exceeding 2.1 and negligible extinction coefficient across a broad spectrum,can be easily deposited over large areas with good quality using straightforward physical vapor deposition,and patterned into high-aspect-ratio subwavelength nanostructures through commonly-available fluorine-gas-based reactive ion etching.We implement a series of highefficiency ultraviolet and visible metasurfaces with representative light-field modulation functionalities including polarization-independent high-numerical-aperture lensing,spin-selective hologram projection,and vivid structural color generation,and the devices exhibit operational efficiencies up to 80%.Our work overcomes limitations faced by scalability of commonly-employed metasurface dielectrics and their operation into the visible and ultraviolet spectral range,and provides a novel route towards realization of high-performance,robust and foundry-manufacturable metasurface optics.Cheng Zhang Lu Chen Zhelin Lin Junyeob Song Danyan Wang Moxin Li Okan Koksal Zi Wang Grisha Spektor David Carlson Henri J.Lezec Wenqi Zhu Scott Papp Amit Agrawal 2024Light(Science & Applications)2024,13,1:0

12In vivo therapeutic effects of albendazole in combination with IFN-on cystic echinococcosis in mice显示文摘Objective:This study was aimed to evaluate the in vivo therapeutic effects of the combination of ABZ with interferon(IFN)-αon cystic echinococcosis(CE)in mice.Methods:After 5-month secondary infection with protoscolices,Balb/c mice were randomly divided into four groups:ABZtreated group,IFN-α-treated group,ABZ+IFN-αgroup and untreated control group.Drugs in different treated groups were respectively administered for 2 months.Blood was respectively taken from caudal veins in mice at treatment time points of 0 d,7 d,14 d,28 d,36 d,48 d and 60 d,in order to detect the changes in the level of antibodies in the serum.Mice were then sacrificed after the end of treatment,and related indicators were detected to evaluate the therapeutic effects.Results:In comparison with untreated control group(p<.01)and ABZ-treated group(p<.05),ABZ+IFN-αgroup showed a more significant decrease in the number of cysts,cyst size and cyst weight.After transmission electron microscopy(TEM)of the cysts in different treated groups,it was found that,there was an obvious change in cyst ultrastructure in ABZ+IFN-αgroup.ELISA experimental results showed that,in ABZ+IFN-αgroup,there was a significant decrease in IL-10 in serums and splenocytes(p<.01);In comparison with untreated control group,ABZ+IFN-αgroup showed a more significant decrease in the levels of IgE,IgG and its subtypes(p<.01).Conclusions:In this study,the combination of ABZ with IFN-αwas proved to be an effective CE treatment option.Zhelin Yun Yongsheng Zhou Yan Zhang Bing Li 2018Discussion of Clinical Cases2018,5,4:0
13Survey data analysis of the related risk factors of echinococcosis in Inner Mongolia of China and Mongolia显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study is to analyze the risk factors of hepatic echinococcosis in mass epidemiological studies in Inner Mongolia of China and Mongolia and provide a basis for related authorities to make appropriate preventive measures.Methods:Eight areas in Inner Mongolia and Zamyn-Üüd region of Mongolia were selected as epidemiological fields.By distributing epidemiological questionnaires to local residents and performing serological examinations and abdominal ultrasound examinations,the data results were collected and analyzed to obtain the risk factors.Results:In this research,there were 7,373 cases of valid data in the area of Inner Mongolia and 1,500 cases in the area of Mongolia.The mean age of the whole survey samples was 52.86±13.90,and the ratio of the female(58.35%)was much higher than that of the male(41.65%).Both univariate analysis and multivariate analysis in this study showed that the female(14.7%)had a higher risk of hepatic echinococcosis than the male(10.9%).From the perspective of profession,children,educators and medical personnel had a lower incidence,herdsmen had the highest positive rate of the disease(15.8%).Living in pastoral areas,having been to pastoral areas,eating uncooked food and drinking unboiled water,raising dogs and surrounding activities of foxes and voles can also increase the risk of positivity.Conclusions:Our findings demonstrate that the most important risk factor of hepatic echinoccosis is unhealthy lifestyles and customs in farmers and herdsmen.It is possible to provide a basis for related authorities to make effective protective measures aiming at hepatic echinococcosis.Shengbin Zhang Zhelin Yun Erdengsuhe E Baoqin Liu 2019Discussion of Clinical Cases2019,6,1:0

15Insight into the effect of gel drying temperature on the structure and desulfurization performance of ZnO/SiO_(2)adsorbents显示文摘A series of ZnO/SiO_(2) adsorbents were prepared by a sol-gel method using tetraethyl orthosilicate,ethylene glycol(EG)and nitrates as precursors.The effect of gel drying temperature on the structure and desulfurization performance of the adsorbents were investigated in detail.It is found that the low drying temperature led to a weak interaction among EG,Si AOH/H_(2)O and the nitrates in the gel system,which caused the oxidation of EG by NO3-and formed zinc glyoxylate complex during the gel calcination process,whereas this oxidation process also occurred at a high drying temperature during the gel drying process.The formed zinc glyoxylate complex promoted the generation of monodentate carbonate on the surface of Zn O,which resulted in the inferior desulfurization performance of adsorbents despite they have smaller Zn O nanoparticles.The gel dried at 120°C formed the hydrogen bonds between EG and Si AOH/H_(2)O and a strong interaction between zinc oxo-clusters and NO3-was also found in the gel system,which avoided the oxidation of EG by NO3-during the preparation process and the Zn O nanoparticles with sizes of 6 nm were formed by a combustion method.The adsorbent affords a highest sulfur capacity of 104.9 mg·g^(-1) in this case.In addition,the gel drying temperature has a significant influence on the textural properties of the adsorbents except their surface area.Chao Yang Zhelin Su Yeshuang Wang Huiling Fan Meisheng Liang Zhaohui Chen 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,56,4:0
