1Fe–Mn/MCM-41: Preparation,Characterization, and Catalytic Activity for Methyl Orange in the Process of Heterogeneous Fenton Reaction显示文摘Active Fe-and Mn-loaded MCM-41(Fe–Mn/MCM-41),which was synthesized via a hydrothermal reaction followed by impregnation,is used in the heterogeneous Fenton reaction to degrade methyl orange(MO) in aqueous solution. The synthesized samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy,N_2 adsorption–desorption isotherm analysis,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Compared with Fe/MCM-41 and Mn/MCM-41,Fe–Mn/MCM-41 showed higher activity for MO degradation and mineralization. Effects of various operating parameters, such as pH,Mn content, and H_2O_2 dosage,on the degradation process were subsequently investigated. Results of experiments on the effect of radical scavengers revealed that the degradation of MO could be attributed to oxidation by HO_·. The synergy of Fe and Mn species in the Fenton oxidation process was also explained.Xubin Zhang Jianxin Dong Zhencheng Hao Wangfeng Cai Fumin Wang 2018Transactions of Tianjin University2018,24,4:6
2Preparation of Vitamin E Intermediate from an Inexpensive Substrate by Selective Oxidation of Pseudocumene in HCOOH–H_2O_2 System显示文摘In this paper, 2,3,5-trimethyl-1,4-benzoquinone(TMBQ) was synthesized through the direct oxidation of1,2,4-trimethylbenzene(pseudocumene, TMB) in the HCOOH–H_2O_2 system. The influence ofthree active species was studied, including performic acid(PFA) generated in formic acid, peracetic acid(PAA) generated in acetic acid, and trifluoroperacetic(TFPA) acid generated in trifluoroacetic acid. The effects ofsulfuric acid and sodium formate addition were investigated, the overoxidation ofTMB was discussed, and the main reason for the decreasing selectivity was revealed. The oxidation ofTMB can be controlled and improved through adjusting the reaction temperature, mole ratio ofoxidant to substrate, and reactant concentration. The TMBQ yield of28% was achieved with a TMB concentration of0.2 mol/L, H_2O_2/TMB mole ratio of6:1, and reaction temperature 37 °C. The selectivity of72% was obtained with a TMB concentration of0.2 mol/L, H_2O_2/TMB mole ratio of5:1, and reaction temperature of27 °C. The reaction mechanisms were proposed and discussed based on the gas chromatography–flame ionization detection(GC–FID) and gas chromatography–mass spectrometer(GC–MS) results.Xubin Zhang Zhencheng Hao Chaoqun Yang Rosine Ahishakiye Fumin Wang 2018Transactions of Tianjin University2018,24,3:1
3Effects of Liaoning Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant on the Zooplankton Community in Summer of 2017显示文摘To evaluate the effects of the Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant on the zooplankton community in the surrounding seawater during summer, multiple environmental factors and zooplankton distribution along the east coast of Liaodong Bay were investigated in the summer of 2017. In particular, the influences of seawater temperature, salinity, and chlorophyll a(Chl a) on the zooplankton community were analyzed. Zooplankton abundances and Chl a concentrations along the east coast of Liaodong Bay showed an initial increase followed by a decrease from July to September. During the three months, the zooplankton abundance was the highest(8116.70 ind m^(-3)) in August. The Shannon-Wiener index showed a downtrend from July to September, with the average value falling from 1.65 in July to 1.50 in September. Calanus sinicus, Paracalanus parvus, copepodid, and bivalve larvae were the dominant species/groups in the three months. The effects of the nuclear power plant's outlet on the environment factors were mainly reflected in the increased seawater temperature. Redundancy analysis showed that the zooplankton community was jointly affected by seawater temperature, salinity and Chl a concentration, and the degree of this impact varied monthly. The impact of seawater temperature on the zooplankton community was stronger than that of salinity. The primary impact of the Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant on the structure and distribution of the zooplankton community in the surrounding seawater during the summer was increased seawater temperature, which caused a reduction in the abundance of dominant species/groups.WANG Junjian TAO Zhencheng WANG Yantao WEI Hao LIU Xin LI Chaolun 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,5:0
