1Experimental study of an anti-icing method over an airfoil based on pulsed dielectric barrier discharge plasma显示文摘Aircraft icing has long been a plague to aviation for its serious threat to flight safety. Even though lots of methods for anti-icing have been in use or studied for quite a long time, new methods are still in great demand for both civil and military aircraft. The current study in this paper uses widely used Dielectric Barrier Discharge(DBD) plasma actuation to anti-ice on a NACA0012 airfoil model with a chord length of 53.5 cm in a closed-circuit icing wind tunnel. An actuator was installed at the leading edge of the airfoil model, and actuated by a pulsed low-temperature plasma power source. The actuator has two types of layout, a striped electrode layout and a meshy electrode layout.The ice accretion process or anti-icing process was recorded by a CCD camera and an infrared camera. Instantaneous pictures and infrared contours show that both types of DBD plasma actuators have the ability for anti-ice under a freestream velocity of 90 m/s, a static temperature of -7℃,an Median Volume droplet Diameter(MVD) of 20 lm, and an Liquid Water Content(LWC) of 0.5 g/m^3. The detected variations of temperatures with time at specific locations reveal that the temperatures oscillate for some time after spraying at first, and then tend to be nearly constant values.This shows that the key point of the anti-icing mechanism with DBD plasma actuation is to achieve a thermal equilibrium on the model surface. Besides, the power consumption in the anti-icing process was estimated in this paper by Lissajous figures measured by an oscilloscope, and it is lower than those of existing anti-icing methods. 2Isolation and genetic charac-terization of a fragile plant mutant in rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘The fragile rice mutant was isolated from an M2 population of indica variety Shuang Ke Zao (SKZ) treated with γ-rays, and designated as fp1 {fragile plant 1) because of its fragile leaves and culms. To map FP1 locus, an F2 mapping population was derived from a cross between the fp1 and C-bao, a polymorphic japonic variety. The primary mapping result places the FP1 locus in an interval between two molecular markers, microsatellite marker RM16 (3.1 cM proximal to FP1) and STS marker G144a (9.1 cM distal to FP1) in the centromere region of chromosome 3. A CAPS marker C524a was further developed between RM16 and G144a, with 0.4 cM genetic distances to the FP1 locus, providing a practical starting point for constructing a BAC con-tig spanning the FP1 locus and cloning the fp1 gene. The exponent of D, denoted byγ(D), is the least integer k such that for any u, v∈ V there is a directed walk of length k from u to v. The local exponent of D at a vertex u∈ V, denoted by exp_D (u), is the least integer k such that there is a directed walk of length k from u to v for each v ε V. Let V = {1,2,….,n}. Following [1], the vertices of V are ordered so that exp_D (1) ≤exp_D (2) ≤…≤exp_D(n) =λ(D). Let E_n(i):= {exp_D (i) ∈D PD_n}, where PD_n is the set of all primitive digraphs of order n. It is known that E_n(n) = {γ(D) D∈PD_n} has been completely settled by [7]. In 1998, E_n(1) was characterized by [5]. 4Preparation of chitosan rods with excellent mechanical properties: One candidate for bone fracture internal fixation显示文摘Chitosan (CS) is one promising material as a temporary mechanical supporter for bone fracture internal fixation.In our previous work,we successfully fabricated CS rods through one in situ precipitation route.But bending strength and bending modulus of CS rods need to be improved to match the commercially available devices used for bone fracture internal fixation.In this research,CS rods were reinforced effectively through cross-linking reaction by using glutaraldehyde as the coupling reagent.Schiff’s base was detected by FTIR due to the chemical reaction between amino groups and aldehyde groups.Crystal plane space of CS rods became small during the formation of network structure.Microstructure was observed by SEM,indicating that layer-by-layer structure became much tighter after cross-linking reaction,and cracks in one layer turned around when they reached another layer to absorb energy.Bending strength and bending modulus of cross-linked CS rods could reach 186.3 MPa and 5.17 GPa,respectively.Compared with uncross-linked CS rods,they are increased by 101.6% and 26.1%,respectively.As a result,mechanical properties of CS rods are equivalent to the commercially available biodegradable devices.CS rods with excellent mechanical properties are a good candidate for bone fracture internal fixation.WANG ZhengKe HU QiaoLing WANG YouXiang 2011Science China Chemistry2011,54,2:7
5Viscous-Flow-Based Analysis of Wave Near-Trapped in a Four-Cylinder Structure显示文摘The hydrodynamic analysis of multi-floating bodies is important and widely used in marine engineering. In this study, we systematically simulated the wave diffraction problem of a fixed vertical four-cylinder structure in regular waves in the time domain in a viscous numerical wave tank. The hydrodynamic interaction of waves with a bottom-mounted structure consisting of four vertical cylinders arranged at the corners of a square shows a complicated interference phenomenon. In this paper, we illustrate and analyze the run-up around the structure and the corresponding wave forces. To investigate the viscous effect on the near-trapping phenomenon, we pay particular attention to investigating the waves near-trapped inside the four-cylinder structure,and make a comparative study of the viscous-and inviscid-flow solutions with the experimental measurements. The results show that the maximum wave elevation occurs on the inner side of the leeside cylinder, and that the wave elevations on the outer side of the cylinders are lower than those on the inner side. We can conclude that viscosity has an obvious damping effect on wave elevations inside the structure. 7Effective Self-calibration for Camera Parameters and Hand-eye Geometry Based on Two Feature Points Motions显示文摘A novel and effective self-calibration approach for robot vision is presented, which can effectively estimate both the camera intrinsic parameters and the hand-eye transformation at the same time. The proposed calibration procedure is based on two arbitrary feature points of the environment, and three pure translational motions and two rotational motions of robot endeffector are needed. New linear solution equations are deduced,and the calibration parameters are finally solved accurately and effectively. The proposed algorithm has been verified by simulated data with different noise and disturbance. 12Optimal extent of fluorination enabling strong temperature-dependent aggregation, favorable blend morphology and high-efficiency polymer solar cells显示文摘Temperature-dependent aggregation is a key property for some donor polymers to realize favorable bulk-heterojunction(BHJ)morphologies and high-efficiency(>10%) polymer solar cells.Previous studies find that an important structural feature that enables such temperature-dependent aggregation property is the 2nd position branched alkyl chains sitting between two thiophene units.In this report,we demonstrate that an optimal extent of fluorination on the polymer backbone is a second essential structural feature that enables the strong temperature-dependent aggregation property.We compare the properties of three structurally similar polymers with 0,2 or 4 fluorine substitutions in each repeating unit through an in-depth morphological study.We show that the non-fluorinated polymer does not aggregate in solution(0.02 mg mL^(-1) in chlorobenzene) at room temperature,which results in poor polymer crystallinity and extremely large polymer domains.On the other hand,the polymer with four fluorine atoms in each repeating unit exhibits an excessively strong tendency to aggregate,which makes it difficult to process and causes a large domain.Only the polymer with two fluorine atoms in each repeating unit exhibits a suitable extent of temperature-dependent aggregation property.As a result,its blend film achieves a favorable morphology and high power conversion efficiency.This provides another key design rationale for developing donor polymers with suitable temperature-dependent aggregation properties and thus high performance.Guofang Yang Zhengke Li Kui Jiang Jie Zhang Jianya Chen Guangye Zhang Fei Huang Wei Ma He Yan 2017Science China Chemistry2017,60,4:1
