| 5 | Construction of miRNA-mRNA network reveals crucial miRNAs and genes in acute myocardial infarction显示文摘Acute myocardial infarction(AMI)is a severe cardiovascular disease.This study aimed to identify crucial microRNAs(miRNAs)and mRNAs in AMI by establishing a miRNA-mRNA network.The microarray datasets GSE31568,GSE148153,and GSE66360 were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database.We identified differentially expressed miRNAs(DE-miRNAs)and mRNAs(DE-mRNAs)in AMI samples compared with normal control samples.The consistently changing miRNAs in both GSE31568 and GSE148153 datasets were selected as candidate DE-miRNAs.The interactions between the candidate DE-miRNAs and DE-mRNAs were analyzed,and a miRNA-mRNA network and a protein-protein interaction network were constructed,along with functional enrichment and pathway analyses.A total of 209 DE-miRNAs in the GSE31568 dataset,857 DE-miRNAs in the GSE148153 dataset,and 351 DE-mRNAs in the GSE66360 dataset were identified.Eighteen candidate DE-miRNAs were selected from both the GSE31568 and GSE148153 datasets.Furthermore,miR-646,miR-127-5p,miR-509-5p,miR-509-3-5p,and miR-767-5p were shown to have a higher degree in the miRNA-mRNA network.THBS-1 as well as FOS was a hub gene in the miRNA-mRNA network and the protein-protein interaction(PPI)network,respectively.CDKN1A was important in both miRNA-mRNA network and PPI network.We established a miRNA-mRNA network in AMI and identified five miRNAs and three genes,which might be used as biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets for patients with AMI. | Kai Wang Zhongming Li Wenjie Ma Yan Sun Xianling Liu Lijun Qian Jian Hong Dasheng Lu Jing Zhang Di Xu | 2021 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2021,35,6: | 2 |

| 11 | NMR-based metabolomic responses of freshwater gastropod Bellamya aeruginosa to MC-producing and non MC-producing Microcystis aeruginosa显示文摘Molluscan metabolomic analysis is essential for the understanding of the regulatory mechanism of aquatic invertebrate in response to hepatotoxic microcystins(MCs)stress.To understand the system responses of the gastropod to MC exposure,metabolomic alterations caused by two strains(MC-producing and non MC-producing)of Microcystis aeruginosa were characterized indiff erent biological matrices(hepatopancreas and muscle)of Bellamya aeruginosa(Gastropoda)using 1 H nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)spectroscopy combined with MCs detections after exposure for 1,7,and 14 d.Although ELISA analysis showed that no MCs was detected in both tissues after non MC-producing M.aeruginosa exposure,MCs concentrations were increasing in the hepatopancreas(from 1.29±0.48μg/g to 3.17±0.11μg/g)and foot muscle(from 0.07±0.02μg/g to 0.21±0.08μg/g)after 14-d exposure of MC-producing M.aeruginosa.Meanwhile,we observed that MC induced signifi cant increase in creatine,a variety of amino acids(leucine,isoleucine,valine,threonine,alanine,methionine,glutamate,aspartate,and lysine),carboxylic acids(lactate,acetate,and D-3-hydroxybutyrate),and choline and its derivatives(phosphocholine and glycerophosphocholine)but decreased the energy substance(lipids,glucose,and glycogen)in the hepatopancreas.However,no signifi cant metabolite diff erences were observed in the muscle between MC-producing and non MC-producing cyanobacteria treated groups.These results suggest that MC exposure may cause hepatic energy expenditure accompanied with various metabolic disorders that involve lipid metabolism,protein catabolism,osmoregulation,glycolysis,glycogenolysis,and tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle.Moreover,metabolic perturbation was aggravated as the level of accumulated MCs raised over time in the MC-producing cyanobacteria treatment.These fi ndings indicated that MCs accumulation might lead to oxidative-stress-mediated damage of mitochondria functions. | Wen YANG Yangfang YE Kaihong LU Zhongming ZHENG Jinyong ZHU | 2022 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,1: | 0 |

| 14 | Controlled moderative sulfidation-fabricated hierarchical heterogeneous nickel sulfides-based electrocatalyst with tripartite Mo doping for efficient oxygen evolution显示文摘An electrocatalyst with heterogeneous nanostructure, especially the hierarchical one, generally shows a more competitive activity than that of its single-component counterparts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER), due to the synergistically enhanced kinetics on enriched active sites and reconfigured electronic band structure. Here this work introduces hierarchical heterostructures into a NiMo@NiS/MoS_(2)@Ni_(2)S_(2)/MoO_(x)(NiMoS) composite by one-pot controlled moderative sulfidation. The optimal solvent composition and addition of NaOH enable NiMoS to own loose and porous structures, smaller nanoparticle sizes, optimal phase composition and chemical states of elements, improving the OER activity of NiMoS. To achieve current densities of 50 and 100 mA cm^(-1), small overpotentials of 275 and 306 mV are required respectively, together with a minor Tafel slope of 58 mV dec^(-1), which outperforms most reported sulfide catalysts and IrO_(2). The synergistic effects in the hierarchical heterostructures expose more active sites,adjust the electronic band structure, and enable the fast charge transfer kinetics, which construct an optimized local coordination environment for high OER electrocatalytic activity. | 15 | Data-driven integrated assessment of global wild-caught seafood exported to Hong Kong by 2030 in different representative concentration and shared socioeconomic pathways显示文摘Wild-caught seafood is an important commodity traded globally.As elimate change and socioeconomic development is affecting global marine capture fisheries,the impact on regional supply remains unexplored,especially for areas like Hong Kong relying on global trading to meet high seafood consumption.However,it is challenging to assess the global marine capture fisheries production using complex process-based models.In this study,a data-driven integrated assessment approach was developed to evaluate the change of global seafood supply from wild catch.With the catch data available from 1990 to 2014,machine learning models were trained and tested including environmental,socioeconomic,geographic,and technological features to estimate the catch by ocean grid cells for individual species.Nine popular seafood categories in Hong Kong were studied,which include 68 species in total.Important input features for estimating the catch were compared across species and the impacts of these input features were interpreted using partial dependence plots.The global marine wild catch of the 68 species by countries and the export to Hong Kong were projected by 2030 in RCP2.6-SSPi,RCP4.5-SSP2,RCP7.0-SSP3,and RCP8.5-SSP5.Performances of machine learning models demonstrate the reliability of data-driven methods to estimate the catch by ocean grid cells.The importance of geographic features rank top for the estimate while that of climate change and socioeconomic development varies significantly across species.The projection reflects a drop of squid exported to Hong Kong due to the reduction of squid supply from China's mainland during 2015-2019.The export of wild-caught seafood of the nine categories to Hong Kong willhave a slight decline by about 16%from the 2020 level by 2030.The projection also suggests no significant differences among the four climatic-socioeconomically interrelated scenarios regarding the export to Hong Kong before 2030.Top producers include China's mainland,United States,and Japan.However,China's mainland and Japan will suffer from the decline.The data-driven integrated assessment approach can be improved to provide more insights into the long-term change and sustainable management. | Zhongming LU | 2022 | Advances in Climate Change Research2022,13,4: | 0 |
